Hayun was walking home, her mind filled with thoughts and images of what just occurred. She was so engrossed in her own thoughts that she didn’t even notice that she was being followed by three men who were having lewd thoughts.

“Hello cutie pie” the one man said as he stood in front of her.

“Going home, are we?” said the second closing in from her side. At this point she knew what was about to happen and was about to make a dash for it when the third man trapped her.

“Well aren’t you in a rush, what’s the hurry? We just wanna hang out.” Said the third.

“Get out of my way!” she yelled loud enough for anyone to hear her.

“C’mon, now why would we do that?” the first spoke as the three inched closer to her.

She attempted to escape by trying to kick one of them in the crotch but when she lifted her leg up the second grabbed her leg, took out a knife and cut her foot slightly.

“Aaaaahhh!” she screamed in pain.

“Now you won’t be able to run away” he explained.

There was nothing more Hayun could do now, she can’t run, she can’t kick them again and she knew that she’d never last in a fight with them all that was left for her to do was scream and hope that someone would help her.

“SOMEONE HELP ME!” she screamed at the top of her voice.

Everything had happened so fast Hayun hardly had any time to process it, one moment she was trapped by the three men and the next thing she knew all three were punched in the face and fell to the ground.

“Okay this bastard’s in for it no-” he was prepared to beat the out of the guy but when he saw the man’s face he got the shock of his life.

Hayun couldn’t see her rescuer’s face as she closed her eyes in fear but she felt him place something cold in her hand “Hold this” was all he told her.

“Oh crap, it’s TOP!” she heard one of them scream followed by beatings before opening her eyes again.

When Hayun saw her rescuer’s face she wondered what he was doing here as she saw him stand up straight. When Seunghyun walked towards her one of the men on the ground said “TOP if we’d know that she was your chick we’d-”

“You would’ve done what you always do regardless of who she was” Seunghyun cut him off before grabbing her free wrist and getting her out of there.

After they got away they reached a bench and Seunghyun sat Hayun down “Wait here” he said before walking towards a convenient store. Hayun looked down at her hands and saw that what he place in her hands earlier was a half-finished cone of ice cream, whilst waiting for him she had wondered why had he saved her, why didn’t he say anything when those guys thought she was his girlfriend, why did they call him TOP?

In almost no time at all Seunghyun was back with some antiseptic and bandages, he set the thing next to him in the middle of the bench and took the ice cream from Hayun.

“I was in the middle of eating my ice cream when I found you” he explained eating his ice cream.

“Okay but why did you help me and what’s with the antiseptic and bandages?” she asked him finally.

“I know the strategy those guys use they always cut their victims feet so they have difficulty running from them, besides weren’t you the one that said to be compassionate towards even your worst enemy? This is just my way of being kind.”

When Seunghyun finished his ice cream he pulled Hayun’s foot to his lap, removed her shoe and sock, took the antiseptic and started applying it to her wound “Hold still” he said when she squirmed and winced at the pain.

Many questions were still going through Hayun’s mind whilst Seunghyun rubbed the antiseptic gently and then after wrapped the bandages. When he was done he stood up with her but her foot ached at the pressur
