Seunghyun’s POV

Life is so annoying I wish I could just stay here in bed all day and relax and just not get irritated by life. Riiiiiiinnnnngg~~~ Oh no, my alarm is ringing, it only rings when it’s a ….

“Seunghyun~ time to wake up~” Carole, that annoying woman sang.

Another damn school day. I take my own damn time getting ready, I stopped caring about school ages ago. I wish appa sent me to an all-boys school at least then I wouldn’t have to deal with the annoying creatures know as women and at least then I would be a little bit more enthusiastic about going. But then that wouldn’t stop Carole from waking me up every morning.

“Seunghyun would you please just try todays breakfast?” Carole pleaded but no matter what I was never going to give her what she wanted.

“Carole you should stop getting so comfortable where you are right now, because believe me whether you like it or not I’m never going to accept you and sooner or later I’ll have you out of my house!” I yelled.

“Seunghyun first of all it’s my house and second Carole is staying so stop arguing” said my father upon hearing my conversation.

“Just because you’ve kept her here longer than the rest doesn’t mean anything to me.” I said to my father before turning to Carole. ”I’m not going to eat whatever poison you’re trying to give me. There’s absolutely nothing you can do that’s going to magically win me over so cut the act.”

I left the house before appa had a chance to say anything else.

Narrator's POV

“Jagiya, don’t worry about him. Eventually he’ll warm up to you” Seunghyun’s father said to Carole.

“You’ve been saying that for almost a year now (sigh) but don’t worry I’m not the type to back away from a fight no matter how long it’s been going” Carole tried to cheer up

*At school*

Seunghyun was still pissed off by what had transpired earlier so upset that he was practically wearing a murderous expression on his face. Even though he rejected breakfast he was starving so he thought of going to buy lunch but soon realized that he forgot to bring money. In cases like these he had a backup plan and so he had taken a walk to the rooftop where he then dragged out a cigarette box and a lighter. He only smoke when he had nothing to eat so as to lose his appetite and whenever he was stressed out or irritated which happened far too often.

He heard people coming up the staircase and tried to hide he really wanted to be alone. When they had reached the rooftop Seunghyun saw that it was Hayun and someone else.

“Doesn’t it feel so wonderful Hayun, being up here where there’s fresh air?”

“It does feel good Becky but do you think someone was out here smoking because this certainly isn’t what I’d call fresh air.”

“Oh” Becky said before taking a sniff “That defiantly is cigarette smoke. I’m sorry I just wanted to show you how nice it was up here and now it’s ruined by a nasty smell from some loser.”

“So I’m some loser, am I?” Seunghyun said with a smirk as they were startled by his voice with a cigarette in hand.

“Seunghyun why did you come late to school again?” Hayun questioned changing the subject.

“Why do you care?” he shot back at her.

“I’m the class rep remember and I have the responsibility to make sure that you get here on time.”

He remembered how she became class rep, in a way it was Jiyong’s fault because he was playing with the class rep and juggling other girls at the same time so when she found out she was so devastated that she even left the school. Hayun had gained some popularity with almost everyone in a short period of time and was chosen as the new class rep.

“Just because you’re class rep doesn’t mean that I’m obliged to answer you.” Seunghyun replied before puffing a smoke “Now get lost or else.”

“Or else what?” Hayun provoked.

“I’ll burn you with this.” He said smirking and holding up his cigarette.

“Normally I’d call you up on that but I know how daring you can be sometimes, c’mon Becky let’s go.” She said pulling on her friend’s wrist and dragging her away leaving Seunghyun alone again.
