The day of the Date pt.2
Infinity*In the cinema*
The movie hadn’t started yet there were still previews and ads showing, so at least we could talk some more.
“Are you really that shocked?” I asked Hayun who still looked at me dumbfounded.
“You paying for me was not shocking the fact that you have a black card is shocking, where in the world did you get that?” she had asked me.
I had forgotten that she doesn’t really know who I am “Let me answer your question with another question, are you familiar with the name ‘Choi Enterprises’?”
This made her eyes pop open wide “No way! You’re the heir of ‘Choi Enterprises’?!” she exclaimed.
“The whole world doesn’t need to know keep your voice down” I shushed her covering .
“B-b but that mean you’re crazy rich” she then exclaimed in a more hushed voice.
“Which is why I don’t mind paying any expenses jagiya” I said with a smirk.
The movie was about to start so I placed the popcorn and coke in-between our seats.
*After the movie*
Well that was a good movie in my opinion and it had a good message as well, I turned over to Hayun to ask what she thought of it but when I saw that the rims of her gorgeous eyes were red I panicked.
“Jagiya! What’s wrong? Were you crying? You really don’t like these kind of movies?” I bombarded her with questions.
“No no no it’s not that it’s just that part where Dory found her parents again was so touching that I cried. I’m sorry if I made you worry but that was a really good movie” she said with a smile reassuring me to which I sighed in relief.
As we were walking out of the cinema I said “Okay I get that it was touching and sad but I don’t really think that it’s cry worthy”
“Can’t you imagine Dory’s situation she was lost this whole time looking for her parents and they waited so long for her to come back. Imagine the agony of going through every day finding that someone hasn’t come back and might have forgotten about you but you still wait for them even though they might not come back” she tried to explain.
Her explanation did make me think back in time when I would go to the airport every day after school with high hopes that the love of my life would come back. I’d always get disappointed by the end of the day but be optimistic that she’ll come the next day or the next day after that and the day after that.
It seemed like Hayun was Dory and I was her parents she went away for so long that she’d forgotten me but I was still here waiting for her all this time. Even now she doesn’t remember me.
Those days I did feel pure utter agony, the thoughts of my past caused me to tear up but I quickly wiped them away and swallowed the lump in my throat and clearing it before saying “I think I get what you mean now that would be crying sad”
“Uh huh” she nodded as I had a weak smile on my face.
“So what’s next on the agenda?” Hayun asked changing the subject.
“Oh I uhh… I didn’t really think this through” I joked whilst she pouted cutely.
“Let’s go gab ourselves some lunch the popcorn can’t fill me” I suggested.
Hayun then took my hand and intertwined our fingers with a small blush creeping on her face. My gosh she was adorable so much so it made my heart swell, it was a truly wonderful feeling.
Narrator’s POV
“So where are we going?” Hayun asked since they’ve been walking for quite a bit now.
“I know a place and I want to treat you to some great” Seunghyun replied with a grin.
“Okay but I’m paying for it” she said.
“What part of ‘I want to treat’ you don’t you understand?” he asked slightly upset with her.
“I just don’t want to have you pay for everything, I’m not that type of girl” she proclaimed.
“Fine, let’s see if you can pay for it” he said with a smug look.
When they had reached the place Hayun was astounded, Seunghyun had brought her to an exquisite restaurant. At this moment Hayun was
