Fate is cruel.

That is the life lesson Zhang Yixing had learned from a very young age. 

A vivid colour pictures book. Filled with beautiful illustration and images that catch the eyes. 

He had read it before. The story of a young mermaid princess who had fallen in love with the prince she saved. Giving up her voices, her home and finally her heart, the young mermaid princess would soon face the cruel reality that the prince she loved was to married to someone else. Heartbroken, she would drown herself in her own hopelessness and become sea foam. Back and forth she would be carried upon the waves, reaching the shores, but never her lover.

It was cruel, that is just how fate work.

Since the day he was born, Zhang Yixing was cursed.

Whether it is because of evil spirits or the malice of his relatives, he was always sick while growing up. 

And at age six following the order of his grandparents, his parents decided to send him to Korea.

Big or small, it lingers within their hearts.

One can either learn how to control or let it control you. 

And so they become cruel people.

Perhaps that is why Yixing is blessed. Why he and his brothers are different from everyone and similar to each other. Since they can understand it more than anyone. 

How cruel the world can be.

How cruel people can be.

How cruel, each of them is. 

In the end, instead of letting fate control them, it is much better to control those who were blinded by fate.
