~~{Ashley's POV}~~
Hyukie seems really cool and all.
He's just a little shy around girls!
I saw Zhou mi walk down the stairs with a frown on his face.
I wondered what's wrong.
" Hey, whatchya watching? " he asked as he headed towards the couch.
" Nightmare at Nighttime ," Sungmin said, wincing as a demon was stabbed in the heart.
Zhou mi plopped between me and Eunhyuk. Hyukie put his shades over his eyes and picked up Choco.
" I need your help, " Mimi said looking at me.
He stood up and held his hand out to me.
What's going on?
I grabbed his hand and pulled myself up.
He kept holding onto my hand while he dragged me upstairs.
Before I left, I saw a look of jealousy in Eunhyuk's eyes.
It turned out that Zhou mi was leading me to our room.
He opened the door and dragged me in while closing the door behind us.
Akward.
" What are you doing? " I asked with a hint of anger.
" Can you keep a secret? " he asked with a sad look on his face.
~~{Kay's POV}~~
I stepped out of the pool and headed to a lawn chair to relax.
I put some shades over my eyes and prepared to tan myself.
A few muffled laughs came from Donghae and Siwon in the pool.
The next thing I know, I'm being smacked on the back with a water balloon.
" OMO! " I jumped up and turned around to face them.
I stomped over to them and took a few water balloons from them.
They hid underwater.
I knew they couldn't last long.
They finally came back up gasping for air and I threw a water balloon at them.
And it didn't pop!
" What the heck?! " I yelled as Siwon caught my water balloon fail.
He grinned and chucked it at me.
It exploded at my feet.
" Nice try, " I threw another and it hit the ledge by the pool, sending the water flying at their faces.
I laughed while Donghae reached for another water balloon.
I kicked it out of his reach, causing it to pop.
He jumped out of the pool and ran with the box of water balloons.
I had one last balloon left. What to do....
I aimed for Donghae.
Once I had a clear shot, I threw it.
It flew through the air in slow motion.
I watched as it drew closer and closer to his face.
SMACK!
When the balloon hit him, he dropped his box.
Siwon came over to me and gave me a high five.
I have won the water balloon war.
~~{Zhou Mi's POV}~~
I told Ashley everything.
I needed to know how to confess to Kay, or at least show her how I feel.
" Well you need to catch her alone, " she suggested, pacing around the room.
" Hmmm, "
" OOOH! I know!! How about a movie? That might work, " she stopped walking with an "a-HA!" look on her face.
I felt like a light bulb just popped up in my head and I guess Ashley had just flicked the switch.
" Good idea! " I wanted to hug her, but that would probably be a little too close for comfort.
I thanked her and rushed downstairs.
I knew that Kay went out to the pool so I was gonna wait for when she's done.
The living room was empty when I arrived there. I guess the movie was over.
I went to the cabinet under the T.V. to find a good movie to watch with Kay.
What exactly was I looking for?
Romance?
Comedy?
Action?
Horror?
All of the above?
I skimmed through the movie titles.
One of them caught my eye: War of the Worlds.
Perfect!
I pulled it out and set it on the DVD player.
Then I went into the kitchen to prepare drinks and snacks.
I decided we should have popcorn and soda. Hopefully she'll like it.
Now all that's left is actually asking her.
How will I do this?
I heard the back door open and swiveled on my heel.
" Hey, Mimi, " Kay stepped inside and closed the door behind her.
She was in a swim suit and was holding a towel.
" Oh, hey, " I bit my lip.
This was it.
