I just get home from the fan meeting and I’m so filled with anxiety that I can barely breathe. I rest against the door to my apartment, feeling my heart beat way too fast as I remember the stunned look on Chanyeol’s face.

“I can’t believe that I actually did that. I actually told him that I hate him.” I say into the empty apartment. “And now I’m talking to myself. Great, I’m going insane.”

I push myself off the door and walk into the kitchen to make myself something to eat. While I’m doing that my phone rings.

“Hello?” I say.

“Yah, how many times have I told you to answer the phone in Korean?” Says my best friend Hae Shin.

“As often as you breathe.” I chuckle speaking in Korean. “Why are you calling?”

“Like I told him that the Earth was actually a triangle and he was an alien living on the southernmost point,” I say, my voice dripping with sarcasm.

“You are not helping your cause right now Kira.” Hae Shin deadpanned. “Really, how did he react?”

“He seemed shocked. It was like he didn’t think it was possible that anyone could ever even dream of hating him,” I say.
