This was now Atlass’s official home.She had no other home to go to.It had been a few weeks since she had been to the mansion.It was almost like experiencing the first day over again.She didn’t even bother waiting for Suho as she climbed the stairs to her bedroom.

The maids had obviously tided up.She unbraided her hair, walking into the bathroom.Something felt off about the house.It fidnt feel the same.She rinsed her face hoping it would make her feel better.She looked into the mirror to see her face looked more pale than usual.It had a slight tint of gray to it.She looked dull and lifeless.

“Minseok, are you there?She whispered.Chanyeol hadn’t barged into her room yet so this was the perfect opportunity to talk to xiumin.

A thin layer of frost trailed from the corners of the mirrors until it reached the center.Icicles began to form underneath and she could make out a blurry figure.Minseok was farther back than he usually was.If Minseok was a prisoner how could he walk around freely.The giant boulders attached to his feet were useless.Atlass wondered if there was more to the room xiumin presided in.

“Its been a long time, sweet cakes.”He smirked pouring a dark red liquid into his crystal glass.He lazily sat down on top of the block.

“I told you the last time. I would be leaving for a period of time.”He nodded.She wondered if he ever got lonely in there. ‘Stop thinking that way.He’s a prisoner’ she reminded herself.

“Mother died this winter.”She whispered.She didn’t know minseok enough to figure out how he would react to her mothers death so she didn’t want to blurt it out of character.Xiumin balled his hands into a fist and his glass shattered in his hand startling Atlass.He chuckled but it was dark...cold.He didn’t seem worried at all about his hand.

“Is that so?”He laughed but it didnt seem joyful.He hung his head down before sighing getting up.He looked at his hand staring at the shards of glass left in his hand.He tsked.

“Get lots of rest.You will need it.” was all he said before his image faded away.

“What’s that supposed to mean?”She shouted out in frustration.

“This needs to be discussed privately.” Baekhyun’s voice was almost non-existent, but Suho’s sensitive ears heard it loud and clear.Suho gave the Cancellor a fake smile waving them off.When their carriage sped of his smiled quickly disappeared.Sometimes he really hated humans.

Mr.Go opened the doors allowing Shho through.He met Baekhyun in his office.Baekhyun had noticed Suho had alot more work piled up than usual.Baekhyun sighed.His uncle worked to hard.

“What is the matter?”Suho passed Baekhyun towards his wine holders.He opened himself a bottle of ambrosia pourinf himself a big glass.It dont go unnoticed by Baekhyun.Baekhyun clicked the lock to Suho’s office door and Suho gve him his full undivided attention.

“You sent me to Dr.Crab as he messaged us an emergency letter.”Suho nodded in confirmation.

“What i found there lead me into some dig and research.Dr.Crab found splinters of particles from the underland.”Suho paused.

“Is he certain?”he asked.

“Yes, but the most surprising news is where he found them.On the bottom heel of a shadowwalker.”Suho was now completely invested in Baekhyun
