The next morning i woke up by a strong smell of fried eggs and bacon that was overwhelming inside the room. Neither the nightmares nor Rina had woken me up. Indeed the smell of food made me wake up,even though it was almost half past six in the morning. Was Himchan cooking that early in the morning? I left my thoughts behind -and the bed- as i stood up and went directly to the kitchen. And as i guessed,Himchan was there,sitting in the chair and eating his eggs and bacon with some coffee in a green mug next to the plate. His clothes were different than yesterday. A grey turtleneck and a pair of navy blue jeans had replaced his yesterday's formal style of white shirt and black trousers. I didn't remember him bringing anything,maybe he brought some clothes while i was sleeping but that would be impossible because the house is locked and unlocked only with my fingerprint. "Good morning lawyer. Why are you awake so early?" He didn't answered me,he didn't even look at me. He continued eating the food in the plate. "Hey Himchan. Are you listening to me?" Himchan lifted his glance and met mine which was already focused at him. "I told you to call me hyung" "You didn't answered me because i didn't called you hyung?" "Kinda." Why he insisted on calling him hyung? After all i met him yesterday but i preferred not to ask about it. "Why are you awake this early? Do you know what time is it?" I rubbed my sleepily eyes and took a seat next to him. "Yeah i know what time it is Daehyun,but i have a lot to do" He ate one last bite from his eggs and pushed the plate slightly to me,with enough food on it. "Here. Eat it,i didn't have time to cook something for you,also I'm full so..take it." He smiled at me and ruffled my hair as he stood up and headed towards the living room. I trailed behind him like a child escorting his father,who leaves for job, till the door. "Where did you find those clothes?" He turned his head to me and looked at me with a confused expression at his face. "I..found them at the closet in the room i slept last night. I though you would let me wear them. Should i change?" I didn't know what should i answer him. Those clothes weren't mine,probably Jaehyo left them behind,but i didn't think that he would mind if Himchan wore them for a day so i told him not to change. "Hyung,wait a minute. Come here to touch the screen so Rina could recognize your fingerprint,you know without it you can't unlock the apartment." "I know that" He wore his grey coat. "But i don't think that would be necessary,I'll be late again and by the time I'll be back you will be here,you'll open the door." After saying me quickly goodbye he left the apartment. I thought it was weird that he left the apartment in a rush that early in the morning,i knew lawyers should be responsible about everything - after all they are dealing with the law- but i didn't knew they have to be that early at their offices. Maybe Himchan wasn't going to the office,his clothes were a little casual for office,but he knew better.

"Good morning master Jung. How may i help you?"

"I don't need anything Rina,just turn off the reminder about my pills. I think I'll not need them anymore."

"As you wish master Jung"

By the time i was at the coffee shop Hyosung didn't welcomed me with her usual bright smile but she was rather looking at me worried. "What's going on baby,are you alright?" As soon as i was next to her,behind the counter,i put my hand at her tiny shoulder and looked at her. "I am fine Daehyun but...ate you alright?" I smiled to ensure her that i waa good. "I'm alright,i have found a new roommate so you could day that I'm ok. Now tell me,what is going on? I know you,something is wrong don't try lying to me." Hyosung,as if i haven't asked her anything she turned away from me,took a duster and started dusting off the tables. "Hyosung,please you are making me worry. What is going on?" "It will be better to discuss it when our shift will be over." I approached her and grabbed her hand,forcing her to stop cleaning the tables. "What do you want to discuss. Why don't you just tell me right now?" Hyosung was always outspoken,she wouldn't hide anything from me even if it was something serious. Her currently behavior made me think that she was hiding something very important from me. "When the shift will be over I'll tell you,please do not make it more difficult than already is". She was so adamant that i couldn't do anything else than accept the time she wanted.

The time till the end of the shift passed so quickly but so unsual. All the time Hyosung was looking at me,checking if i had given the right coffee at the customers or if i had been given the right amount of money. She was,also, asking me from time to time if i was alright or even if i was sleepy. Her sudden change of behavior seemed quite confusing to me,why all of the sudden she was asking me these kind question? I waited patiently till Jieun and Eunkwang,our colleagues which have the night shift of the coffee shop,come,without asking anything at Hyosung about her today's behavior. As soon as,Hyosung and i,said our goodbyes to Jieun and Eunkwang and stepped out of the coffee shop,i grabbed Hyosung's shoulder making her stop walking. "Hyo baby,i think you own me an explanation about this. What's wrong with you today?" She sighed before putting her hands inside the pockets of her mint colour coat. "I talked with Jaehyo last night-" "Is he alright?" The question slept from my mouth without even thinking about it,it was truth that i was worried about him and about his father,after all Jaehyo left with no warning. "Yeah he is alright and his father is also good at his health,now he's recovering." "Then if he's recovering, for what are you still worried about?" She took a hold of my hand and came closer to me as if she wanted to whisper me something but her voice was nothing like a whisper. "As i said..i talked with Jaehyo and i asked him if he would come back with you" "And what he answered? If he's going to live with me then i should tell Himchan to move out,that would be difficult but-" "Daehyun he doesn't know you." "W-What?" I looked at her astonished. How he doesn't know me? Yesterday we were talking in my apartment. "What do you mean he doesn't know me?" Hyosung took a step back before letting my hand. " I was asking him about you but all he said it was that he went to your apartment but you didn't open the door. He spent the night at a hotel." Jaehyo must have lied to her,i didn't came up with an convincing reason why would he lie to her but he surely was. "Daehyun..maybe except for nightmares you also have hallucinations,you should see the doctor." "Excuse me?" I was looking at her in shock. I wasn't seeing things that weren't real,Jaehyo was indeed in my apartment last night. "Then how do you explain the jacket that he gave to me?" Sure the jacket was a strong evidence of her cousin staying with me yesterday, that she couldn't deny it. "He never had a black jacket with him. I didn't get to see him but...his voice was determined and i believed him" Of course she believed him,he was her cousin ,she wouldn't believe me, after all i was just friend. "Daehyun..please I'm worried about you" She reached her hand to touch my cheek but i grabbed it in the half way and pushed it away. "Hyosung if you are implying that I'm crazy,forget it. I'm not" " I...i don't think that you are crazy,i just-" "You just what? You believed a lie your cousin told you." I sighed. I was disappointed and mad,but disappointment was overwhelming my mind and my heart. Not only Jaehyo lied to Hyosung making her believe that i was seeing hallucinations but also he lied to me,making me believe that he was a guy that could be a good friend. "Daehyun please.." She hugged me tightly forcing myself to stay still. "At least promise me that you will go visit him as soon as possible. I don't want something bad to happen at you." I heard her voice cracking as she was talking to me,begging me to go at the doctor. Like he was going to do something,i knew he was lying about my illness,about my health was i supposed to trust him about those "hallucinations"? I rested my hand on top of her head and slowly caressed her brown hair while she was crying on my shoulder,her hands gripping my knitted jacket. I didn't know what should i say to her. I didn't expect that she was caring about me that much,i thought i was just a colleague for her,a guy who she sees every morning till 6 o'clock at afternoon,nothing more.

After some minutes Henry came by,while she was still hugging at me and i was still trying to comfort her. He had gone wild in a split of seconds and we were vainly trying to convince him that he misunderstood us. As i result,now, i was walking in the snowy pavement with a wide purple bruise across my left cheek. I didn't care a lot about the bruise but i was thinking more about Hyosung, Henry literary forced her to go with him by pulling her and my idea of trying to push him away from her,wasn't a good one. At least Hyosung didn't seemed scared of her boyfriend, as she quickly apologisted to me for his behavior and yelled at him for hitting me. While i was lost at my thought i didn't realize that a car was next to me,moving slowly just to catch up with me. "Daehyun!" A familiar voice was calling my name. I turned my head to the left and as i guessed Himchan was inside the car beckoning me to come inside it. "Come inside we don't have time." I stopped and took a closer look at his car. A black aventador,which i saw as a cover at an automotive magazine some days ago,was in front of me. This car was very expensive and it confirmed that Himchan was quite rich -or that he was descendant of some millionaires-. "Don't just stare,come!" As soon as i was inside it,he accelerated the car. "How did you know that i was here?" "I knew it." His voice was stern,making me think that something serious was going on. "What is going on?" "I can't tell you now. Let's go home first." "But-" "Don't talk." He interrupted me,again with his voice being stern and his eyes looking at the road ahead if him.
When we stepped inside the apartment he disappeared inside his room and in less than a minute he was back at the living room with a black rucksack,which he handed to me. "Hyung,w-what is going on? Why you gave me this rucksack?" Himchan was looking at the living room,his head moving quickly as if he was looking for something. "We have to go,the found us." "They found us? Who and why they found us?" Suddenly,Himchan pushed a vase i had on top of a small table,breaking it,he flipped over that table, kicked my white couch not only making it dirty but also flipping it over and before he even reached his hand to touch my television i stopped him. "Stop! What the Himchan? Are you in nuts? These are my my things that you are breaking bastard!" He grabbed me tightly by my arm and took the rucksack i dropped some seconds ago. "We need to leave. Rina,the apartment is evacuating,code number 389"

"Code number 389. The apartment is going to self destructed. Remaining time is 3 minutes master Kim"

Code number 389? Self destruction? Master Kim? I pushed my hand away from him. "Who are you?" He looked at me beforing pulling a gun behind his back and aimed it at me. "Move your legs before i blow off your head"
