    Bobby is the one who found him sleeping by the bed on the chair. Hanbin groans in pain the moment he wakes up when he feels the aches all over his body, the nerves are screaming in soreness from the stiffness. Watching how he struggles to keep all the joints in place after the uncomfortable sleep in such an uncomfortable position he had, Bobby can only let out a witty chuckles mocking the leader that Chanwoo wouldn’t even run away if he sleeps on the couch instead. That earns him a groan and a roll of eyes from Hanbin.   His eyes hurriedly travel to the slim and tall figure rested on the bed. Hanbin watches with fond eyes the maknae sleeping peacefully and his heart feels heavy to wake him up. He can’t help but to smile brightly and chuckle hearing the gibberish words the younger mutters in his sleep. It makes Hanbin’s eyes soften seeing the sight in view. He doesn’t even realize the look Bobby is giving him.   “You know what, you’re such a creep that it scared the wit out of me.” Not knowing anything next, he is kicked on his leg by Hanbin whom the fondness and soft eyes are completely wiped out from his face replaced with an annoyed one. He ushers for the older to leave but both of them know that Hanbin doesn’t mean it at all as they end up laughing next.   “Where’s the others?” Hanbin asks when he realizes Bobby is well all alone.   “I asked for Jinhwan hyung to go back first. He seemed so tired and so did Yunhyeong. Junhwe and Donghyuk will be here soon.” Bobby says as he pulls the chair Hanbin used to sleep before close to the maknae’s bed. He makes himself comfortable before pulling the phone from his baggy pants’ pocket. “You can sleep for a while if you want to. I’ll keep an eye on him until you wake up.”   “No, that’s okay.” Hanbin replies to Bobby. He takes the seat on the couch now. “I’m not that sleepy anymore.” His answer worries Bobby a lot and he knows that the older disagrees to it judging by the look Bobby is giving him.   “Hanbin-ah, you know that I will definitely call you if anything happens right?” Bobby says seriously and all the wittiness earlier vanish away. He looks really serious yet worried right now. “And besides, you really need to rest. You haven’t been resting so well since this morning. We can’t afford to have you sick next.” Hearing Bobby’s words have Hanbin sighing out loud. It is right though, he is deadly tired but he can’t leave the younger out from his eyes anymore. Not when he already has the official privilege now.   “It’s fine hyung. I’m not that tired. You don’t have to be so worried.” He utters giving out a smile that only flashes nothing but tiresome. It lefts Bobby with nothing to retaliate anymore with the leader.   In the end, he leaves Hanbin alone with his stubbornness; hoping for perhaps Junhwe could get some senses to him when the maknae comes. The two only sits in the room allowing the silence to fill in. Bobby is listening to some loud music through his headphone while Hanbin is trying really hard not to fall asleep, fighting the heaviness of his eyelids from closing.   Only for him to lose the fight in the end and he is woken up by the sound of the door opened. He cracks open his eyes relentlessly to see who is the visitor. None other than Junhwe and Donghyuk it is.   The two enter the room and greet the others cheerfully; not so much hype but better than when Chanwoo is admitted before. Donghyuk has also gained his spirits like the usual and that lifts up some loads from Hanbin’s heart. Finally, there is a smile on the younger’s face and his voice doesn’t sound constricted nor fake anymore. He is alright again and that is enough for now.   And like what Bobby has been wanting, Junhwe does nag on Hanbin for neglecting his sleep and rest. It makes Bobby laughs in victory with the leader groaning in utter defeat over the sassy diva’s unbeatable remarks. If he is not that tired, then for sure he would make Junhwe shuts up. Then out of nowhere Hanbin and Junhwe would be having their own words battle in the room, something that has always been amusing for the members to witness looking at how Hanbin would be beaten up brutally by Junhwe who doesn’t even mind who’s the elder between them.   The 4 of them stay in the room until night comes. Hanbin is still there having his dinner brought by Donghyuk from the dorm. Afterwards, he then takes his well-deserved shower –thanks to Junhwe once again for managed to brainwash him– after one whole day without one. When he walks out from the bathroom around 15 minutes later, all dressed up and clean, he hears some whispers in the room. Feeling the need to be quiet, Hanbin tiptoes inside and hides behind the wall that separates the bathroom and the room.   He hears Donghyuk and Chanwoo’s voices; both hushing as if they are trying not to let anyone hears them out. It intrigues on Hanbin’s interest on what could be so secretive until they have to whisper with each other. He let his ears open wider to listen to them, trying to make out the words the two maknaes share.           When Chanwoo wakes up it is not Hanbin’s face that greets him first. It’s Donghyuk’s and although the younger wonders silently where could the leader goes to, he can’t help but to feel happy seeing Donghyuk who he hasn’t been seeing since yesterday. He didn’t have the opportunity to meet him this morning when he woke up as the doctor injected him with the sleeping drug before he could even see the older first. It makes Chanwoo’s heart skips a happy beat watching the older beside his bed but it also brings him a tiny jolt of pain watching Donghyuk sitting on the chair with his eyes staring to nowhere in sadness.   Chanwoo reaches his hand for Donghyuk and the latter jumps slightly in shock when a cold fingertips touch his arm. He turns his head to the side and Chanwoo can never avoid the way Donghyuk’s eyes light up and widen in delight seeing him waking up. Though he couldn’t help it too but to wince silently looking at how swollen and thin the older eyes and face are. He looks far even wrecked than Hanbin.   “Chanwoo-ah!” Donghyuk yelps in alarm. His body then turns fully to face Chanwoo and hands grabbing the younger’s hand frantically as if he has been in an utter shocked. “Are you okay? Are you hurt? Sh-should I call the nurse? Do you want some water?” Donghyuk endless questions are giving Chanwoo a headache but of course he wouldn’t say it out loud. But he has to admit that other than guilt and pain watching Donghyuk like this, it’s quite amusing to have it in his sight. It’s not every day Donghyuk would be this panicky around him.   “Hyung, hyung!” Chanwoo’s scream stops Donghyuk from all his rambles. The maknae swears that sometimes Donghyuk looks similar to a lost puppy. “I’m fine.” Chanwoo says with him exhaling some air that feels heavy in his lungs. His hold on Donghyuk becomes tighter. “I’m fine, so don’t worry. It’s okay.” Those fortunately are enough to calm Donghyuk down as when Chanwoo’s hold on him loosens, his hold on the maknae also loosens though not completely released. Chanwoo somehow understands Donghyuk’s worries though.   Silence comes to them for a brief second as Chanwoo watches in amusement how Donghyuk is still fumbling with words and action on what to do about the maknae who has woken up. He looks a bit edgy but still composed. Though that only last for a minute when suddenly he changes into a worried mum.   “A-are you alright, maknae?” Oh, how Chanwoo hates it to hear the pain in Donghyuk’s voice.   “I’m okay.” Chanwoo replies nodding his head to assure Donghyuk. He gives out his smile but then regrets on it when the eyelids of the older start to water. He might look so bad with the forced smile. His bad for holding the nauseous too. Without Chanwoo knowing it nor he could prevent it, Donghyuk is already shedding tears.   “I-I thought you would never w-wake up again.” Donghyuk says with all the sobs coming out from him, breaking the silence that filled the empty spaces before. His face scrunches up and tears fall down like a fountain from his eyes. It hurts Chanwoo more to see a hurting Donghyuk with his hands shaking while holding him.   “Y-you couldn’t wake up for a whole day. You were burning up so badly and y-your eyes were closed sh-shut. I was worried if th—if they wouldn’t open again.” Donghyuk says with an outmost difficulty to keep his sobs at bay. His body is shaking uncontrollably and face turns into a deep shade of red. He looks so wreck and Chanwoo feels extremely bad for putting Donghyuk into this position.  

 

“I-I think about my d-dad when I saw you like that. Then suddenly I thought about what will happen if—”  

 

“Hyung, no…”  

 

“If you suddenly d-d—”  

 

“Hyung!”  

 

Chanwoo’s loud and hoarse voice manages to shut him up. Although he feels a bit weird inside his stomach after the shout, he let it be because a crying mess Donghyuk in front of him is his biggest concern at the moment. Donghyuk on the other hand is taken aback with the maknae’s shout. It entirely snaps him up and stops the train of thoughts he has. His eyes are wide open watching the maknae obliviously.   “Hyung, please you know that it’s not going to happen.” Chanwoo says with his hand grabbing tight the older. The cold on his palm slowly diminishes with the warmth from Donghyuk. It helps him to relax a bit with the cold being gone and brings tranquil to Donghyuk who is a total mess in his mind and body.
