Chapter 20

Sandy stared in shock at the commotion that is going on. She was thinking of standing up, stopping the two livid guys herself. The feeling of not being able to move from where she was made her feel defeated and helpless that it instantly brough bad really bad memories from her childhood.

She could only look back forth with wide eyes as her eyes followed the both Jaejoong and Seunhyun fist as it landed on each others' faces.

The a sudden memory flashed right through her that it made her trembled. Closing her eyes and shaking it away...

She remembered her parent's fighting. How her father had continuously beaten her mother whenever he comes home drunk. And as a little child, all she could do in the past was to stand in fear that she will be the next one to be beaten.

Even still in pain Sandy pushed herself up to sit on the bed. Knees pulled up towards her chest, hands covering her ears to prevent her from hearing more and eyes closing as if it was all she needed to not see what was happening

“Stop it! Stop it! STOP IT!” She shouted, pulling herself into a tight ball as her body trembled in pain, fear and madness. She didn't like what was going.

Surprisingly, the fight stopped. All the boys looked at her stunned by her sudden outburst.
 

“you are fighting because of me. Mom and Dad fought because of me. This... all my fault. I'm sorry. I'm sorry” she kept murmuring as she rocked her body back and fort as if offering herself some comfort
 

“Sandy...” Jaejoong tried to call out, wanting to now comfort her once again. Now realizing that he wasn't even supposed to beat Sunghyun like that in front of the girl

Just then Dongwook came inside. A little lost but somehow knew what happened. He deeply sighed

“Get Out!” He hissed as he stepped closer to his best friend

“But Hyung... I...” Seunghyun was instantly on his feet.

“No! You've done enough Seunghyun! And you!” he pointed at the gaping jaejoong “I was expecting a lot better than this! Now Get out! All of you!” He hissed, now cuddling the still shaking girl.

“GD, Bom You both stay” the oldest asked before coaxing the distress Sandy on his arms

Sandy felt the familiar presence that enveloped her.

“I can’t do this anymore…” She cried out…. “I want to quit. I don’t want this anymore… oppa… please help me… I don’t want this… I want to go...I.. I need to go” She cried hard. Her face buried into Dongwook's black leader jacket

“Calm down. We'll talk about this alright?” the older male tried to coaxed her

“I hate this. I hate this. I don't care anymore. I want this to stop” Sandy kept mumbling

Bom and Jiyong looked at each other in alarm before walking towards their distraught friend, Comforting her as well.

“Shh... we'll do something about this Sandy. Just calm down and rest for a while yeah? don’t think about it for now ok? just rest…. Let’s talk to boss after you’re well enough…” Jiyong patted her head while Dongwook smoothed out the tangle of her hair.

“I’ll tell him to give you extra time to rest as well ok?a good week of vacation will be good neh?”

“No! Can't you understand? I can’t do this anymore!”” she cried out louder, body shaking with fear.
