CHAPTER 28
But What Do You Mean You're A Girl[CONTENTID1]Chapter 28[/CONTENTID1]
[CONTENTID2]Valentine's day was coming in a week. Everything's been hectic. Ever since Luhan left three days ago, the girls had no other crushes to fantasize about, giving Exo their fangirls back. Sehun and Kai had been over thrilled; they craved the attention, not to mention the gifts. Everyone became more tense, while I watched boredly.
Valentine's day was just another day to me. Nothing new, or special. Even last year, when I was in a real relationship, the holiday didn't faze me. Maybe this year would be more fun—after all, Jisung seems like the type to overhype it.
"Hey, Phoenix," Chanyeol nudges me. We were sitting in the park right now, waiting for the rest to show up. "How much chicken do you think an average person can eat before they explode? I mean, there's obviously a lot to factor in, but when you think about it, chicken is really good so it's totally worth it to blow up, especially fried chicken, and—"
"Ten buckets," I answered boredly. We've been waiting for fifteen minutes now, and I was getting tired of waiting. "If not ten, twenty."
"I read somewhere that it was twenty-five," Chanyeol answers matter-of-factly. "Wanna test it out?"
"Um, yeah, no thanks," I stifle a laugh. "I'm already gaining weight, that's not going to help me lose any." Chanyeol looks at me with disbelief, and gives me a glance over.
"You are definitely not fat," he shakes his head. "You need to gain more pounds. We can both be balls of fat and live happily together." I snort, rolling my eyes. "No, really," Chanyeol insists, "You're perfect the way you are. Even if you do gain a hundred more pounds, you'd still be the most beautiful girl to me."
"You're really smooth, Player-Yeol," I tease, trying hard not to blush from his compliment. "Why aren't you getting all the girls?"
"Because the only girl I want is y—"
"You guys sure are getting cozy over here," a voice from behind startles me. I jump, and looked behind. It was Kai, who was laughing so hard he almost fell down. Chanyeol looked mildly annoyed by it, and jabbed Kai in the stomach lightly. "Sorry to interrupt your moment, love birds, but we gotta go."
Kai grabs our hands, and pulled us to the cars.
What Chanyeol was about to say was forgotten.
