He closed his eyes then took one deep breath, filling his lungs with air he has long forgotten.

“Master…” a guy with a heavy built in black suit called his attention, suitcases on both hands

“ Drop the Master, Kangin…we’re no longer in China.” he gave him a warm smile which the latter rarely sees then his feet started moving, leaving 3 men in same suits as Kangin’s behind, heading to the luxury car waiting meters away. Before getting in the car, he looked around once more then uttered to himself, “Welcome back to Seoul, Donghae.”

“This should be fine.” he nodded in approval after trying the 5th pair of black-framed eyeglasses with no grade.  He frowned when he realized that he didn’t achieve the look he was aiming for. He wanted to look nerdy but the specs just added a mysterious aura.  He glanced at the clock and decided to settle with the one he’s already wearing.

He put on his uniform, grabbed his backpack then proceeded downstairs where Kangin was waiting.

“Ready Master?” he asked while extending his hand to take his backpack from him

Donghae held on to his backpack, “Donghae.” reminding him what he told him last week at the airport. “And I’m going alone.”

“But Mas— Donghae…” he protested

“No but’s. You should know of all people that I’m capable of taking care of myself.” assuring him

“Master Lee will kill me if he finds out I let you be on your own.” said the worried man, fearing his master’s father

Donghae smiled, “Father already knows about this.” then he walked towards the car
