After Sehun had blurted out how he missed Junmyeon,  the bodyguard crossed the living room in a fast stride, almost running, before engulfed Sehun in a tight embrace. Sehun immediately bursted in tears and Junmyeon couldn't help but cried with him.

After a good minutes crying there, with Luhan, Jongdae and Kyungsoo helplessly watched beside, with tears in each other eyes, they finally ended up at Junmyeon's room. Cuddling in his bed, just the two of them.

 
Junmyeon's heart felt warm, he was so happy he couldn't stop smiling, although with red and puffy eyes. Sehun's eyes was the same but he looked calm now. There's no hurt or hatred on his eyes whenever he looked at Junmyeon and the bodyguard was grateful and relieved. He never thought this day would come. 

"Does your daddy knew you were here?" Junmyeon asked softly while threading his fingers on Sehun's soft black hairs. 

Sehun shook his head a little. "No.." His voice was so soft, a bit hoarse from  crying earlier. 

"Is he okay?“ 

Another shook. "He's sad..I saw.." Sehun paused, inhaling his breath, then continued."I saw daddy cried again last night.." 

Junmyeon's heart clenched painfully. He snuggled closer to Sehun and landed a soft kiss on the boy's head. "I'm sorry.." Another kiss. "I'm really sorry.." Junmyeon whispered. To think that he made Kris cried was already painful but to knew that Sehun saw it, made him felt even worst. 

There's no response from Sehun but Junmyeon can felt how Sehun pressed closer to him, small arms then draped over his torso. That was more than enough for him. Sehun wasn't a clingy one and hardly initiated a skinship first to someone who wasn't his family, so for him to acted like this, made Junmyeon thought of one thing.

Sehun had accepted him.

At that thought, Junmyeon almost cried again but he settled with another kiss onto Sehun's head. No more tears. 

Silence then accompanied them, with Junmyeon tried to hold himself from asking too many questions to Sehun and they stay silent like that before Sehun's small voice break it. "Uncle.."

" Hmmm?"

"Promise me not to make daddy sad anymore?“

Junmyeon nodded eagerly. He can't promise they won't face any hardship in the future but seeing Sehun's hopeful eyes, he couldn't bring himself to do nothing than promise."I promise."

When Junmyeon woke up later, it was almost 7pm. Sun already set down and he suddenly remembered about Luhan.  He slowly peeled himself from Sehun, just stopping for a few second to admire the boy's serene face and land a kiss on the boy's cheek before stumbled out from his bedroom. 

That's how he found Jongdae and Kyungsoo on the couch at living room with Luhan in between them. The bodyguard frowned, amused. Last time he checked, Luhan wasn't this close to them. Especially with Kyungsoo. He even used to thought Kyungsoo was Junmyeon's boyfriend before and he doesn't remembered they ever met again after the cinema date.

He walked closer and none of them realized he was there, too absorbed with the movie currently playing on the tv.

Twilight. 

Junmyeon rolled his eyes before make his presence known by taking the seat on the another couch with a scoff." Twilight huh?Kyungsoo must've rubbing his obsession towards werewolf and vampires to both of you, I see.."

All of them a bit startled at first before Kyungsoo reacted first, scowling . "Don't insult my favorite movie. Are you done crying?"

 Before he could reply, Luhan already asked."Where's Sehun?"

Junmyeon casted a glance towards his bedroom. "Sleeping."  He then looked at Luhan, biting his lower lips."Why? You need to go back now?  Is Yifan already asked about-"

"No, No..just asking. We still got time,don't worry. Let him sleep for a while." Luhan replied with a smile.

Junmyeon smile and nodded.He then was about to ask Luhan more about Kris but Jongdae and Kyungsoo suddenly squealed at the certain romantic part, successfully steal away Luhan's attention from him. The Chinese man excitedly join the duo, fanboying over Bella and Edward's moment , but Junmyeon knew better, they were drooling over that pale vampire guy more than anything. 

What was so interesting about that guy anyway.. Kris is hundred times hotter. Duh.

But again, maybe he was too biased. 

Junmyeon then decided he had enough of seeing three grown up man fanboying like a teenagers ,so he left them and went to kitchen. He could at least cook something, just in case Sehun woke up and felt hungry later. It was his dinner time anyway. 

He in the middle checking his fridge for the ingredients to make dinner when Luhan joined him. Junmyeon ,who already in a good mood today, felt a little mischief so he decided to . "Why are you here? Shouldn't you join them drooling over that vampire dude or something?"

Luhan shrugged. "I had a way hotter boyfriend to drool all over. Thank you very much."

Junmyeon chuckled but at the mentioned of Luhan's boyfriend,  he remembered something."How's Yixing? Did you.."

"Proposed to him yet?“ Luhan continued. When Junmyeon nodded, he sighed. "I did."

Junmyeon was a bit worried at the heavy sigh but he tried to be positive "So?"

"He said yes.." Luhan smile but it looked more sad than happy. "But..."

"But?"

"But..he wanted me to  ask my parents' blessing first. Only If they agreed, he'll marry me." Luhan's voice a little strained. Like he was trying to hold himself from crying. "And I don't think that's gonna happen soon, though." 

Junmyeon felt  bad for him. "I guess Kris' attempts to coaxed your parents, failed?" He asked as he realized he didn't had a chance to ask Kris about it.

Luhan nodded,weak. "My father is too stubborn. He was always put our family name first before anything. Not even his son's happiness. He scared if we refused to accept this marriage,the Lee's family will dissapointed or worst, upset, thus made both families grew apart. Their influence was quite big there, making them upset will definitely give a bad impression to us.He said I will bring shame to our family."

Junmyeon bit his lower lips. He never knew about the struggles to be born in high status family like them but after hearing what Luhan had said, he felt grateful that he doesn't. But then, if things worked out between him and Kris, he was about to become a part of that family too.

He wondered, if the mayor gonna accept him or not. Oh god. What if he doesn't? Junmyeon wasn't rich, nor had a great job. He was an average man while Kris had everything. 

"Oh I knew that look. Junmyeon,  if you're worrying about whether my uncle gonna accept you or not, don't be. He's different from my father. As long as Yifan happy, he won't mind much." Luhan assured him quickly as he probably knew already how Junmyeon always worried about everything. 

Junmyeon fidgeted in his seat."How would you know?  I'm hired by mayor to be his grandson's bodyguard, not to take that as a chance to be his son-in law or something.. Besides, I'm not from a rich or noble family,  I'm no match with Yifan."

Luhan sighed."Did you know that Taozi was a son of our family's  maid?“

Junmyeon's eyes widened. "Really? I don't..know.."

"He is. His mother worked as a maid in Wu's residents since young and then married with one of the chef there. When Taozi was born, Yifan just barely can walk and they practically grew up together. Along with me. Even when my uncle moved back to Korea after Yifan's mother died, Yifan refused to go with him. He stay there but still in contact with my uncle, even when he remarried again. You know, he was protesting too at first, just like Sehun but when his plan to marry Tao didn't get the blessing from our family,  that's when Yifan moved to Korea and found out his father's new family wasn't as bad as he thought. Chanyeol's mom is the most sweetest lady we ever know and she accepted both Yifan and Tao into her house with a warm smile."

Luhan paused, there's a fond smile on his face."He called me one day, said that his father accepted his relationship with Tao and to his surprise, Chanyeol's mom even already planning their marriage. You know, if it wasn't his mother who wished to see him carried Wu as his surname, I bet Yifan already changed his name to Park Yifan. Even it's sounded quite weird. " Luhan mused  and then laughed and Junmyeon couldn't help but join him.

"So if you're worried about whether my uncle going to accept you or not, you should  just forget about it. Worried about more important things instead. Like how Yifan was a mess right now. What've you done to my beloved cousin?" Luhan gave a slight glare to Junmyeon while crossed his arms. Tried to look intimidating but Junmyeon knew he wasn't that angry. Upset, maybe.

"Sehun said he cried?" Junmyeon bit his bottom lips. Abusing the flesh. "Is he that sad?“

Luhan jerk his eyebrows."What do you think? Yifan might look tough and cold outside but he's a big softie inside.You, yourself knew how important his family to him but you said that you don't want his family anymore, Jun. From all of the people, it came from you, someone that important to him besides his family. So, What do you think that words gonna do to him?"

Junmyeon squirmed under Luhan's gaze, guilty eating him from inside. "I don't meant any of my words.."

Luhan sighed. "I know..and I do understand why you do that. You tried to protect your heart. I knew how's bad your past is but Yifan wasn't lucky in love too you know. You lost a boyfriend but he lost his husband. While you can used your anger and hate towards that jerk to move on and forget about him but Yifan couldn't. All the momeries haunted him, dragging him from moving on. Lucky he got Sehun and Jongin to be his anchor but still Yifan never opened his heart to love again until he met you. It took him a really huge effort to finally believe in love again, to put his heart at the possibilities to be broken again,  and I knew you were the same. I knew you knew that struggles , so could you imagined how miserable he is right now?  I think if things doesn't work out b
