Jimin is a 17 years old boy who attends Seoul High School. He is seen as a quiet, anti-social, and cold-hearted person. He rarely speaks to people including his classmates, teachers, and anyone who approaches him. While being alone, he always looks away from people nearby as possible to avoid any contact. He is a well-skilled basketball player, thanks to his father who enjoys basketball as his favorite hobby. Jimin used to be a part of the basketball team during middle school from Busan.
Tragically, his parents, older brother and Jimin were involved in a car accident and he was 12 at that time. His family, unfortunately, died, leaving him the only sole survivor, andan orphan. His caring aunt took him under her wing and they both settled in Seoul. Devastated from his family's death, he abandoned his basketball activities.
At age 17, after several years of sorrow, loneliness, and bitterness, his life turns around when he meets two kind and sympathetic people from his high school who unexpectedly can change his life.
