Chapter Nine

Flashback

“Argsh, why did I also have to look for that klutz? This is so annoying!” GongChan murmured as he was walking around the haunted house, “I can’t believe she finds this house scary!” he added, then “JO KWANGMIN!” he heard someone yell, “Uh, that klutz” he said to himself and he ran towards the direction where he heard the voice

He stopped and saw her covering her ears and keeping her eyes closed, he noticed that she was crying as well “Is she really that scared?” he asked himself... he was about to go near her when suddenly, Kwangmin hugged her from behind

 “Uh?”GongChan said then he decided to hide himself so the two won’t see him, he heard how MiYu was really happy to see Kwangmin, he looked at them and he suddenly felt something inside of him

It was a feeling that he has never felt before

A feeling that hurts

“GAAAAH!” GongChan shouted as he sat up and ruffled his hair, “What the heck is wrong with me? Why can’t I let that strange feeling escape from me!?” he added then he lied back down and stared at the ceiling “Maybe I’m just sick? That’s right, I’m sick... GongChan Shik, tomorrow morning, you’ll be fine as long as you don’t get near that klutz, you’ll be perfectly fine” he said then he closed his eyes and went to sleep.

The next morning, “Urgh, why do I smell pan cakes?” Baro said as he sat up, he rubbed his eyes and looked at the time “It’s still 6:30 AM? I thought Sandeul was going to make breakfast at around 7?” he added, he stood up and went outside, when he exited his room, he accidentally bumped into Sandeul

“uh? Yah, I thought you were going to cook breakfast at around 7?” he said, “What are you talking about? I just woke up” Sandeul responded “Eh? Then who’s the one cooking breakfast?” asked Baro the two looked at each other and they immediately rushed to the kitchen, to their surprise, they found MiYu inside the kitchen cooking them breakfast

“Uh?” they wondered, MiYu turned around and saw them “Good Morning ^^” she greeted them with a sweet smile that made the two blush, “G-Good morning” they replied, then “Hold up, how did you get in here MiYu-ssi?” asked Baro “I asked for the spare card key” MiYu replied as she placed the pancakes on the plate “Eh? B-B-But what are you doing here anyway? And why are you cooking breakfast?” asked Sandeul “That brat and I made a deal... I lost so I’ll be his personal assistant” MiYu replied “But Channie said that you can forget about the deal” said Sandeul “Well, he gave me a choice and I decide not to forget about it” said MiYu “Uh?” the two wondered “A deal is a deal and I don’t back down on any bets no matter how stupid the consequences are” she said then she started to cook the omelet

The two just sat on the table as they watched her cook breakfast, moments later...

“Yah, why do I smell omelet?” CNU said as he came out of his room, “Uh?” he wondered when he saw MiYu inside the kitchen, cooking breakfast

“Why is MiYu-ssi cooking breakfast?” he asked the two, Sandeul told him what MiYu told them and “Ooh, so she’s that type of person huh” he said “Uh?” Baro wondered, “Never mind me, I’m talking to myself” CNU responded, Baro shrugged and the three looked at her while cooking.

After a few minutes, Jinyoung woke up. He was surprised to see the food all prepared and the three eating, “Uh? What the?” he said, then “Good Morning Jinyoung-ssi!” MiYu greeted as she went out of the kitchen, “M-MiYu-ssi?” Jinyoung wondered, “What are you-” “She decided to become our Channie’s personal assistant” said Sandeul “But he-” “It was her choice, not Channie’s so let’s just leave her alone, besides... I would really love it if she continues to make breakfast for us every morning for the whole week ^^” said CNU and the other two nodded, “But what if GongChan-” “What’s going on?” GongChan said as he came out of his room and saw the breakfast that MiYu made, “Uh?” the five of them wondered as they turned to him

GongChan went near MiYu and said “What do you think you’re doing? I told you to forget about the whole deal” “Heh, well I had a choice and I chose not to forget about it” said MiYu “It wasn’t an option, it was an order” said GongChan “Well I’m not a good listener when it comes to orders especially from brats like you” said MiYu, “Mwo?” said GongChan, then “Oops, looks like it’s time for me to get ready... just beep me when you need something, I’ll see you guys later!”Said MiYu, she took off her apron, placed and went out of the apartment

When she was already gone, “What the heck? Is she deaf or something!?” GongChan proclaimed, “She’s not deaf” said Sandeul “She just chose to not listen to you :P” Baro added and GongChan gave them a glare. Jinyoung sat down and started to eat, “Yum” he said “yah, grab a seat and let’s eat breakfast” he said to GongChan “Heh, no way! I bet she poisoned my plate to get revenge on me” said GongChan “You’re over reacting Channie, MiYu-ssi’s not evil, she hates you but she’s not evil” said Baro “Yep, so come over here and eat your breakfast” said Sandeul. GongChan released a sigh and he decided to join them

When MiYu arrived at their office, “So what’s our sched for today?” she asked as she went near Kwangmin who was busy with his computer

“We’re suppose to have a photoshoot with A-Pink but they rescheduled it since two of the members caught a flu” Kwangmin responded “Really? Too bad, uh, come to think of it, it’s the 2^nd week of November already which means that it’s almost Christmas~” said MiYu “Uh, you’re right... better prepare my gift, okay?” said Kwangmin “Eh? You should prepare mine first!” MiYu proclaimed, “Already did” said Kwangmin “Uh?” MiYu wondered “Here’s an early Christmas hug from your best friend!” Kwangmin beamed as he suddenly went near MiYu and hugged her tight

“Yah! Jo Kwangmin, I can’t breathe!” she cried, “Well too bad, this is your early Christmas gift” Kwangmin responded as he continued to hug her, then he twirled her and let her go “How was it?” he asked, “Hmm... warm, as usual” MiYu responded “Heh, well how about my hug?” Kwangmin said as he spread out his arms, MiYu rolled her eyes and said “Go hug a tree” then she went to her desk and started to work, Kwangmin pouted and said “You’re always mean >3<” “Well, you’re used to it” said MiYu “Hmpf!” Kwangmin proclaimed then he went to his desk and continued to do his own business.

                In GongChan’s case, after taking a bath, he went inside his room and noticed a note on his desk, “Uh?” he wondered as he decided to read the note that said:

Here’s my number ***********, just text me or call me when you need something, okay? –MiYu

He rolled his eyes and put the paper inside his desk then he decided to change. During lunch time, “Aigoo, I’m so hungry already! Where are we going to eat?” Baro complained, “I don’t know but we have to wait for manager to come to us unless you guys want to be killed by our fans” said CNU “But I’m really hungry!” Baro cried, then

“Did somebody say he was hungry?” MiYu said as she entered the building, all of them looked back at her “Uh?” they wondered, she placed the bags of takeout food on the table and said “Here you go guys! ^^” “W-Wait, you came here just to bring us lunch?” asked Baro and MiYu nodded her head, “Thank you so much MiYu-ssi!” he proclaimed as he suddenly hugged her, “Y-Yah, I can’t breathe!” said MiYu

Moments later, “Thanks again for the food! ^^” said CNU “But I bet it would be better if you actually brought us the food that you yourself cooked” said Sandeul “Heh, sorry. I didn’t have any time” MiYu responded. “By the way, why did you bring us lunch all of the sudden?” asked Jinyoung “Well...” MiYu said as she looked at GongChan who was staring at his food, “Uh, heh... you’re Channie’s personal assistant but it seems like you are our personal assistant as well” he said and MiYu just kept quiet, then “Hey klutz!” GongChan called, MiYu felt frustrated of what she heard but she didn’t burst into anger, “W-What?” she said as she turned to GongChan, GongChan motioned his finger that said to follow him then he left, MiYu released a sigh and she followed him

“Uh? I wonder why Channie wants to talk to her privately?” said Sandeul “Maybe to thank her secretly since he doesn’t want us to find out” said Baro “Uh” said the others.

In MiYu’s case, GongChan stopped at an empty hallway, “Uh? What do you want?” said MiYu “Yah, what’s your problem? I told you that you don’t have to do the whole assistant thing!” he proclaimed “Uh... heh, and I told you, I chose to do it anyway, I chose to not listen to you” said MiYu “Why!?” he proclaimed,

“Why are you so annoyed with me being your personal assistant? I mean, shouldn’t you be happy? You get to boss me around for ONE WEEK!” said MiYu

“Heh, there really is something wrong with your brain, you should be happy because I don’t want to boss you around for one week” said GongChan

“I know, I should be happy, but I’m not the type of person who backs down on her word” said MiYu “Uh?” GongChan wondered “Call me crazy or whatever, but the deal was whoever loses gets to be the PA of the winner, and since I lost I get to be the Assistant, got that?” said MiYu, GongChan was silence “Heh, well I think I’ve cleared things up, if you don’t want me to be your personal assistant, then suffer for one week” she said then she went back to the lobby where the others were

GongChan couldn’t believe what he just heard from MiYu

GongChan’s POV

Heh, was she really serious? That girl sure had the guts to talk back to me like that! I can’t believe this, I promised myself to stay away from her but how can I when she decides to become my personal assistant?

Heh, she’s really crazy! Doesn’t she realize that she already has the freedom and yet she chooses to become my assistant? She’s absolutely stupid!
 tch, since she decided to be my assistant, I guess I’ll have fun bossing her around from time to time, *evil grin* get ready Park MiYu, you’ll regret becoming my assistant...

I went back to the lobby and saw her with the others eating their food; she was sitting next to Jinyoung hyung... argsh! The nerve of that girl >.< heh, well let’s see if she can still smile after I’m done with her

“YAH!” I called her but she didn’t turn to me, is she deaf? “YAH PERSONAL ASSISTANT!” I proclaimed, wow, that sounds embarrassing *smirk*

“What?” she said as she turned to me, boy... she looks irritated... nice >:3 “Go get me some cold water, I’m thirsty” I said in a bratty way, “Mwo? You have two feet right? Go get it yourself” she said then she focused her attention on the guys

What? Did she just decline my order? Some personal assistant! “Yah! I’d love to, but since you’re my PA, you go get it” I said as I sat down, oooh~ she looks mad, this is great!
“Urgh, fine!” she proclaimed then she stood up and went to get a cold water bottle

Heh, I am so good at this... maybe she’s right, I am a brat but not a ert, pshh... “Here!” she said as she gave the bottle of water to me, I grabbed it from her and drank the water, I didn’t even say thank you but she didn’t notice... heh, she’s a klutz and a clueless girl

She sat back down, right next to... Jinyoung hyung!? O_o “Excuse me” I said as I sat in between them, “Uh?” they wondered as they looked at me, Jinyoung hyung looked confused while the klutz looked at me with disgust, “What?” I said to them but they didn’t reply, I smirked and continued to eat.

After lunch, the klutz went back to their company, she’s a photographer right? So does it mean that she gets to meet different stars too? Heh, well I don’t care...

-END of POV-

“Yah Channie! Let’s get back to practice!” Baro proclaimed, “Uh, ne~” GongChan replied and he ran to his hyung and they continued to practice.

When MiYu arrived back at the office...

“Screw that brat!” she proclaimed as she slammed the door which surprised Kwangmin “What the?” he wondered, he took off his reading glasses and went near her “What’s the problem this time?” he asked, “That brat GongChan Shik! How dare he boss me around like that!” MiYu responded, “Uhh, did you forget? You’re his PA” said Kwangmin “Yea? So what if I’m his assistant, he can’t treat his assistants in a bratty way! It’s just wrong!” MiYu proclaimed, “Well technically, he can since he is the boss after all” said Kwangmin “Yah, whose side are you on?” MiYu said as she gave him a suspicious look, “I’m on nobody’s side okay? I’m just saying, he has a point since he is your boss and he has the right to act like that, besides, it’s your fault why you’re dealing with him any way. He told you to forget about the deal but you still insist on becoming his assistant... uh, hey MiYu... do you like him by any chance?” said Kwangmin, MiYu’s eyes widened and she immediately responded, “Eew! No way!”  and Kwangmin laughed at her, she hit him on the head then went to her desk and went through the papers that were on it.

A few hours have passed and she was already finished with her article “yah, I’m going ahead okay?” she said as she stood up, “Wait, I’m almost done!” Kwangmin said as he was clearing up his desk, MiYu decided to wait for him at the lobby

“Argsh, what’s taking him so long?” she asked herself suddenly, RING her phone rang, she brought it out from her pocket and looked at the caller id “Bratty Boss?” she wondered “What does that idiot want now?” she added then she answered it

*Phone Convo*

MiYu: What?
GongChan: Is that how you’re supposed to talk to your boss?
MiYu: (-’_'-) Are you in need of something?
GongChan: Better. Yah, where are you now?
MiYu: Inside the company building, why?
GongChan: Meet me at the mall by 6PM
*MiYu looks at her watch and it was already 5 30PM
MiYu: Why?
GongChan: We’re doing the groceries
MiYu: E-Eh?!
GongChan: Be there by 6 okay? See ya *hangs up*

*END of Phone Convo*

“What? Grocery shopping!?” MiYu proclaimed to herself, then “Hey!” Kwangmin called as he walked towards her “Let’s go?”He said, “Sorry Kwangmin but I have to go to the mall” said MiYu

“Why?” asked Kwangmin “I’m going grocery shopping with my Bratty boss” MiYu answered, “Uh... okay” Kwangmin responded, “I’ll see you tomorrow?” said MiYu and Kwangmin nodded his head, they hugged each other then MiYu left.

Kwangmin released a sigh and said to himself “its okay Kwangmin, it’s not like she likes him, she hates him and she just agreed to be his personal assistant because of the bet... don’t worry” then he forced a smile

When MiYu arrived at the mall, “Over here!” GongChan proclaimed as he saw MiYu looking around, MiYu saw him and approached him

“You’re right on time” he said, MiYu rolled her eyes and said “Hold up, your hyungs are letting you do the grocery shopping?” “Well, we were playing a game to see who will lose and do the grocery shopping and apparently... I lost” GongChan responded “Heh, you’re a brat who at games” MiYu murmured, “Mwo!?” GongChan exclaimed, “N-nothing, so let’s just get this whole grocery shopping thing over. I’m tired and I want to get an early sleep” said MiYu “Heh, such a forgetful klutz... you’re suppose to make us dinner tonight” said GongChan “W-WHAT!?” MiYu proclaimed, “The one who lost doesn’t also has to cook dinner and since I’m too tired to do it, you’ll do it... you are my assistant after all” he said then walked ahead, “E-EH!?” she cried.

While GongChan was looking at the list and looking through the aisles, MiYu was the one pushing the cart and at the same time, yawning, then

“Hey look! A couple doing the grocery shopping but why is it that the girl is the one pushing the cart and the boy is the one looking at the list?” a little boy asked his mom which caught the two’s attention, “Shh, don’t be like that baby” the mother tried to keep the boy’s mouth shut, then GongChan approached them “Uh?” they wondered, he turned to the boy and said “Because my girl over there is really sleepy and she can’t read the list properly, so I decided for us to switch places, don’t worry, I’ll be the one carrying the bags, not her ^^” the boy smiled and said “Hyung! You’re so cool; I want to be like you too!” GongChan smiled back then went back to MiYu, “Let’s go?” he said then he walked ahead

MiYu heard what he said and she said to herself, “Seriously? He’s going to carry the bags?” then she somewhat felt relieved.

After paying for what they bought “YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” MiYu angrily proclaimed, GongChan his ice cream and turned to her “What?” he said as he felt annoyed “What the heck is your problem!? I thought you were going to carry the bags!?” she added, GongChan smirked and said “Are you kidding me? I’m probably tired as you are so why don’t you just carry the bags while I eat this ice cream” GongChan responded and he continued to walk ahead. MiYu couldn’t believe what she heard, she was reaching her boiling point but then “Calm down MiYu... there’s no need to burst, besides... you’re here as his assistant, you are now in this situation because you were stupid to believe that he would go easy on you. ARGSH!” MiYu said to herself then she released a big sigh and followed.

They took a taxi on the way back to the apartment, GongChan sat at the passenger’s seat while MiYu sat at the back seat; he wasn’t really paying attention to her but when they arrived at the apartment building...

“Uh?” GongChan wondered as he was surprised to see MiYu sleeping at the back seat, then

“Your girlfriend seems to be really tired, you guys must’ve done a lot of grocery shopping” the driver said, GongChan was struck by the word ‘girlfriend’ “Heh, she still needs to cook dinner” he said, “Eh?” the driver wondered, “U-uh, e-err, never mind about what I said, here you go ahjussi! Thank you for the ride” he said as he gave the money to the driver, got out of the passenger’s seat, opened the back seat’s door and woke MiYu up

“Yah, wake up, we’re here” he said, he also picked the bags from the seat, MiYu slowly opened her eyes and got off the taxi, she shut the door closed and turned to GongChan

“I’ll get that” she said as she was about to grab the bags from him but he refused to give it to her “I’ll carry these inside” then he walked ahead, “Uh?” she wondered then she let out a huge yawn and followed.

Meanwhile, inside the apartment... “Yah Jump! Jump!” Sandeul proclaimed, “I’m trying but the stupid controls aren’t working!” Baro responded, “You’re going to lose~” CNU inserted as he was distracting Baro “Yah! Don’t be like that hyung!” he proclaimed but then

YOU LOSE! “ARGGGGGGH!” him and Sandeul proclaimed then Baro threw his phone on the couch, “I can’t believe I lost =3=” he pouted, “Yeah... you at it” Sandeul added and Baro gave him a glare, then the door opened

“Uh?” all of them wondered as they turned to the door and saw GongChan entering, but they were more surprised to see “MiYu-ssi?” they wondered as they saw MiYu entering their apartment

“Annyeong~ ^^v” she greeted, “Uh” they said. Moments later...

“Wait, so you’re going to cook dinner for us?” asked Jinyoung and MiYu nodded her head, “But Channie’s suppose to do it since he lost the game!” Baro proclaimed, “Well I have a personal assistant so I can make her cook for me” GongChan responded, “But hyung, isn’t it unfair? I mean MiYu-ssi has to do all of Channie’s chores” Sandeul said as he turned to CNU, CNU shook his head and said “GongChan has a point, since she is his personal assistant, he can make her do all of his chores” “Uh” the others said and a smirk was formed in GongChan’s face.

MiYu started cooking but at the same time, she was still yawning. She was very sleepy, she couldn’t help but yawn all the time... the other guys, well... GongChan was just sitting on the couch watching TV while the others were looking at her

“It’s pretty obvious that MiYu-ssi’s really tired but why must she cook dinner for us?” asked Baro “We can’t do anything, it’s GongChan’s orders. Besides, even if we tell him to do it on his own instead, he wouldn’t listen to us” said CNU and Jinyoung nodded his head in agreement, Baro released a sigh while Sandeul was observing her every move while cooking.

In the kitchen, MiYu continued to yawn, “Argsh! Screw this, why do I keep on yawning? Am I really that tired?” she said to herself, she continued to chop the vegetables when suddenly

“A-AH MiYu-ssi! I’ll do that~” Sandeul said as he grabbed the knife from MiYu “Uh?” she wondered as she turned to him, “I think it’s not safe for you to use the knife while you’re really sleepy so why don’t you go rest for a while on the couch and I’ll do all the chopping” he said “But-” “No buts, I’ll wake you up when I’m done with the vegetables” said Sandeul, MiYu released a sigh and she nodded her head, “Thank you Sandeul-ssi” she said, “Heh, you know you can call me ‘oppa’ it sounds better than the other one” said Sandeul “Uhh” MiYu said then she went outside of the kitchen, the three were surprised to see her

“Aren’t you supposed to be in the kitchen?” asked Baro, “Sandeul-ssi said that he’ll be in charge of the vegetables” MiYu responded, “Uh” said Baro, then “MiYu-ssi, you seem really tired... do you want to lie down?” asked Jinyoung “Uh? N-NO *yawns* thanks” MiYu responded then she sat down on the chair next to CNU and closed her eyes, moments later... she fell asleep, “MiYu-ssi I’m done with- uh?” Sandeul wondered as he saw MiYu’s head tilting, “Looks like she fell asleep” Jinyoung said as he went near her “Mwo? She fell asleep?” GongChan wondered, he stood up from the couch and looked at MiYu “Heh, I guess she did” he added, “Yah! What were you trying to do? She’s really tired yet you wanted her to make dinner for us!” Baro proclaimed, “I didn’t know she was this tired” said GongChan “Heh” said Baro, then Jinyoung suddenly picked her up in a bridal style “Uh?!” all of them were shocked of what he did

“I’ll take her to my room and let her sleep there, Channie, is it okay if I sleep in your room tonight?” he asked as he turned to GongChan, “S-Sure” GongChan replied but he was still disturbed on how Jinyoung carried MiYu, “Thanks” said Jinyoung then he went to his room and placed MiYu on his bed, he put a blanket over her and said “Good night, sweet dreams” then he went outside of his room

“Sandeul-ah, do you think you can cook dinner for us?” he asked, Sandeul nodded his head and he went to the kitchen “Woah~ hyung is always cool!” Baro whispered to GongChan, GongChan agreed but he was still bothered about that whole bridal style thing.

After eating dinner, “I’ll go wash the dishes!” Baro beamed, “No you’re not, Channie will” CNU said as he turned to GongChan “EH!?” GongChan cried, “Don’t complain, besides you should be the one cooking dinner but instead, MiYu-ssi ended up cooking dinner and got tired so just to make things fair, you’ll wash the dishes” said Jinyoung “B-But hyung!” “No buts, now go~” Sandeul said as he pushed GongChan towards the sink, GongChan released a big sigh and started washing the dishes while the his hyungs quietly laughed at him, then

“I’ll go check on MiYu-ssi” Jinyoung said as he went to his room, “Hmm, I bet hyung will definitely fall for MiYu-ssi” said Baro “You know, I think it’s silly but MiYu-ssi looks a bit like Chun Hei noona” said Sandeul, the others also realized it after Sandeul mentioned the statement “You’re right” both CNU and Baro added then

“She’s nothing like my noona!” GongChan proclaimed “Uh?” the three wondered, “My noona is a nice noona... she’s loving, caring, sweet and she loves hyung so much while that girl? Heh, she’s a klutz, she’s mean, she’s stubborn... heck, she’s like a guy!” GongChan added, CNU smiled and said “She looks like Chun Hei but I feel like she’s the girl version of Channie except for the spoiled brat attitude” the two also agreed with him and GongChan made a (=_=||) face and continued washing the dishes.

In Jinyoung's case, when he entered the room, MiYu was still sleeping. He smiled and said “How cute ^^” he went near her and looked at her, then he noticed her camera coming out from her bag, he looked at her and she was still sleeping

“Uh? I don’t think she’ll mind if I borrow her camera for a while” he said to himself, he slowly grabbed the camera out from her bag and started looking at the pictures.

He saw many paparazzi photos and there was a photo of him that he truly likes “I look so handsome” he said to himself, he continued to browse through the pictures until he saw a picture of someone...

“U-uh?” he wondered then he turned to MiYu with a surprised face.

Author’s Note: Another update~ 8 more days 'till Christmas! Who's excited? :3 By the way, it's our Christmas Vacation already so I'm planning to complete this whole story by the end of our vacation so that I can focus on my studies when class start and hopefully, make another fic ;)
