Chapter Ten

“MiYu-ah!” someone called my name, I turned around and saw a guy smiling at me, Who is he? I can’t see his face clearly; I can only see his smile. He went near me and placed his palm on my cheek, he was still smiling

“You’re pretty ^^” he said, I suddenly blushed and felt my heart beating fast. Who is he? Why is my heart beating fast? He only told me that I’m pretty but... ARGH! This is so weird, what the heck is happening?

Suddenly...

“HEY UGLY DUCKLING!” GongChan proclaimed “Uh?” MiYu slowly opened her eyes and the first thing she saw, was GongChan’s face a few centimeters away from hers; she suddenly blushed and yelled “AAAAAAAH!” GongChan was surprised and he backed away, “What the heck is your problem!?” he proclaimed, “My problem? How about you? WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY ROOM!?” MiYu proclaimed, “Your room?” GongChan said as he raised his brow, MiYu looked around and realized that it wasn’t her room after all

“You’re in Jinyoung hyung’s room genius” he said, “E-Eh?” MiYu wondered, “Tch... you’re weird you know that? Yah, here’s your dinner. Eat it quickly because I’ll be the one to wash that” GongChan said as he placed the tray on the desk near the bed, “H-Hold up, what about dinner? Sandeul told me that he’ll wake me up when-” “The hyungs noticed that you were really tired so they let you rest instead and they gave me all the work =_=” said GongChan “S-Sou...” MiYu said then she looked away, GongChan released a sigh and said

“Eat up quickly, okay?” then he left the room, MiYu sighed and she started to eat.

Moments later, she was already finished so she slowly opened the door and spotted GongChan watching TV, the others were already asleep since GongChan was left in the living room, “Yah, I’ll wash this, you can go to sleep already” she said as she walked towards the kitchen “Uh? I promised hyung that I’ll wash it, you go back to sleep!” he said as he stood up and grabbed the plate from MiYu, “No, I’ll wash it and you go to sleep, besides I already had some rest so after I wash the dishes, I’ll be heading off to my apartment” MiYu said as she grabbed the plate from GongChan “Uh, no I’ll do it” GongChan said as he grabbed the plate from MiYu again, “No, I will!” MiYu proclaimed as she tried to grab the plate but GongChan’s grip on it was tight, “Let go” he said, “No, you let go” MiYu said as she held on to the plate

They gave each other a death glare; moments later... they ended up washing the plate together. GongChan was the one who soaped it while MiYu rinsed it.

After washing the dishes, MiYu went back inside Jinyoung's room to get her things, she was done fixing her things and was about to leave when she accidentally knocked over a picture frame, GongChan heard it and he went inside Jinyoung's room and saw the picture frame on the floor, “S-Sorry, I didn’t mean to knock it over, I-” “Stop” GongChan said, “Uh” said MiYu then she kept quiet

GongChan picked the frame up and showed a weak smile, “Noona” he said, he showed the picture to MiYu “I-Is she your sister?” she asked and GongChan nodded his head, “Chun Hei noona is also Jinyoung hyung’s girlfriend” he added “Uh” MiYu said then she kept quiet, GongChan placed the frame back on the desk then he turned to MiYu

“I’m going back to sleep, make sure to lock the door when you leave and oh, be here by 7AM... breakfast should be ready by 7:30” he said then he went to his own room, “S-So I’m still cooking for him? Argsh” she murmured then she picked her bag up and left B1A4’s apartment.

            For the next three days, MiYu’s job was basically cooking for the boys and attending to GongChan’s needs, sometimes she also does his chores but the others would scold at GongChan and in the end, he gets to do all his chores.

It was the day after their deal would end and GongChan wanted to meet MiYu at the park during her break

“Yah, I’ll be back okay?” MiYu said as she picked her bag up, “Where are you going?” he asked, “To the park, I need to assist my bratty boss” MiYu replied then she left, “But... we were suppose to have lunch together” Kwangmin said then he released a sigh, “Don’t worry Kwangmin, tomorrow the deal will end and MiYu will be free from spending time with GongChan hyung... that’s right, so don’t worry” Kwangmin said to himself then he forced a smile.

In MiYu’s case, when she arrived at the park “What the? Why are there a lot of people here!?” she proclaimed as saw a huge crowd then “Over here!” CNU proclaimed, MiYu turned to him and he saw him, she approached him and said “No wonder... you guys are having a mini concert” she said and CNU nodded his head, then “Hey klutz!” GongChan called, “(-’_‘-) W-Why did you tell me to meet you here again?” she said as she walked towards him, “I can’t carry all these gifts that our fans gave me, so I need you to carry them for me” he said “W-WHAT!?” MiYu proclaimed, “You heard me, now go and bring these boxes to the van” he ordered, “H-Hold up, I don’t want to!” she proclaimed and the fan girls heard her and their attention went to the two, they were starting to wonder who MiYu was and why is she talking to GongChan, GongChan thought of something and he faced his fan girls

“Look everyone, she’s my personal assistant but she refuses to help me carry the boxes >3<” he said in a cute way and MiYu’s jaw dropped when she saw this, then

“Hey you! You better help GongChan oppa carry those boxes!” “You’re his assistant yet you’re refusing to work? So lazy!” “Fire her oppa!” the fan girls continued to say negative things about MiYu, then “All right already! I’ll carry the boxes, sheesh!” she proclaimed then she grabbed the first box and brought it to the van, GongChan was grinning while watching her carry the boxes, the other members released a sigh and continued talking with their fans.

MiYu was almost finish bringing the boxes to the van, she was on her way to bring the last box to the van when suddenly, “Hey you!” a girl called, she turned around and saw 5 girls walking towards her, “uh?” she wondered, the girl in the middle suddenly slapped her which made her drop the box that she was carrying

She turned to the girl “What’s your problem!?” she proclaimed, “What’s my problem? Heh, you!” the girl proclaimed, MiYu raised her brow in confusion, “Heh, you get to be oppa’s assistant and you’re not that even pretty!” the girl proclaimed, “M-Mwo?” MiYu responded, “You even pretend to disobey him so that you can get his attention!” the girl added, MiYu couldn’t believe what she was hearing, she was pissed because the girl slapped her and she’s even more pissed because the girl actually thought that she was trying to get GongChan’s attention

“Hey you, listen up... I have no plans of grabbing that brat oppa of yours’ attention okay? Heh, you girls are so dumb...” said MiYu “W-What!?” the girls proclaimed, “I said you’re all dumb! To think that you’re easily fooled by that brat GongChan Shik... well to tell you something? He’s not a cute and adorable person at all! He’s a brat, a erted brat!” MiYu proclaimed, the girl in the center got mad because MiYu not only called her dumb, but she also called GongChan a brat. She was about to slap MiYu again but then MiYu grabbed her wrist and held a tight grip on it, the girl was starting to feel pain

“A-ah!” she proclaimed, “Heh, pabo” said MiYu, she gave the girl her death glare, the girl suddenly felt afraid, “P-Please, l-let go, it hurts” the girl said begging for MiYu to let go, “It hurts?” asked MiYu and the girl nodded her head, MiYu smirked and tightened her grip “Y-Yah!” the girl proclaimed but MiYu continued to give her a death glare, “You slapped me right? I don’t slap back, I only break arms” she added, suddenly

“Stop that!” someone proclaimed, they looked back and saw Jinyoung walking towards them, “Uh” they said, “MiYu-ssi, let go of her” said Jinyoung, “Tch” MiYu said then she let go of the girl, the girl ran towards Jinyoung and hid behind him but then Jinyoung went near MiYu and grabbed her wrist, “Let’s talk” he said then he dragged her off to some place, “Uh?” the rest wondered, GongChan felt that something was about to happen, he was about to go after them but then CNU stopped him, GongChan turned to CNU and CNU shook his head.

In Jinyoung's case, he continued to drag MiYu until they reached a spot where there were only few people around,

“Yah!” MiYu proclaimed, Jinyoung made her face him and he let go of her, “Uh...” said MiYu, Jinyoung went near her but she stepped backwards, “Come here” he said but MiYu stayed still. He decided to walk towards her and looked at her cheek, “Aigoo, it’s really red, that girl must’ve hit you hard” he said but MiYu just kept quiet, she was avoiding eye-to-eye contact with him, he noticed it and smiled

“Heh, here we go with the avoiding thing, seriously... if you don’t find my eyes that pretty, you can just tell it to me straightly” he said but MiYu just kept quiet, “Heh, does it still hurt?” he asked, MiYu gave him an “Isn’t-it-obvious” look, “Sorry ^^v” he responded, there was an awkward silence between them, then

“W-What did you want to talk about?”She asked, “Uh?” Jinyoung wondered, “You dragged me all the way here because you said you wanted to talk to me about something; what is it?” said MiYu “O-oh that, I only told you that because it somehow felt cool” Jinyoung responded “(-__-) are you for real?” said MiYu and Jinyoung gave her a goofy smile, MiYu rolled her eyes and said “You’re such a dork” as she slightly laughed, Jinyoung suddenly remembered Chun Hei, “Uh” he said then he smiled at MiYu

“Well, I better go back, prince brat is waiting for me” she said, she was about to leave but then Jinyoung grabbed her wrist “Wait” he said, “Uh?” MiYu wondered as she turned to him, “You can go ahead already; I’ll handle GongChan” he said, “E-Eh? But I-” “Just go... I’ll tell GongChan that you were in a hurry...” said Jinyoung, MiYu smiled and said “thanks” then she ran off but before she completely disappeared

“I owe you one!” she proclaimed, “All right!” Jinyoung responded, MiYu waved goodbye to him and he waved back, after that, she was completely out of sight, he remembered when MiYu called him a dork and he also remembered how Chun Hei called him that way too, he released a sigh and went back to the other members.

When MiYu arrived back at the Company Building, “Hey” she said as she entered their office, “He-WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR CHEEK!?” Kwangmin proclaimed as he immediately noticed MiYu’s red cheek, “Some girl slapped me” MiYu calmly responded as she placed her bag on the desk, “And what did you do?” asked Kwangmin “I almost broke her wrist” MiYu responded “Almost?” Kwangmin wondered, “Jinyoung stopped me” said MiYu “Uh... good thing” Kwangmin said to himself, then he went to the mini fridge to get an ice pack and he gave it to MiYu “Thanks” she responded and placed the ice pack on her cheek, “Next time be careful okay?” said Kwangmin “Heh, those idiots should be thankful that I warned them about that brat GongChan Shik!” MiYu proclaimed, “uh” said Kwangmin.

After work, “Want me to drive you home?” asked Kwangmin “Yes please~” MiYu responded, Kwangmin smiled and he opened the door and MiYu went inside, then he went inside as well and drove off.

When they arrived at the apartment building, “Yah, do you want to stay for dinner?” she asked, “Aren’t you suppose to cook for B1A4 tonight?” asked Kwangmin “They went out for dinner” MiYu responded “Uh, sou... then I guess you’ll be eating dinner alone?” said Kwangmin “Well, not if you join me” said MiYu “Hmm... I think I should just-” “Yah Jo Kwangmin!” MiYu proclaimed, Kwangmin laughed and said “I’m just kidding, I’ll join you for dinner” MiYu gave him a glare and she walked inside, Kwangmin then followed.

In B1A4’s case, “Tomorrow will be MiYu-ssi’s last day as Channie’s assistant” said Baro and the others nodded their heads; they turned to GongChan and noticed that he was very quiet

“Yah, are you okay?” asked Sandeul, GongChan nodded his head in reply and he kept quiet.

GongChan’s POV

I don’t know why, but I suddenly felt guilty after that fan of ours slapped that klutz... argsh... what the heck is happening to me? I suddenly feel like I need to soften up to her (=___=)

Maybe...  I’ll ask for an apology... right...

We arrived at the apartment building and “Uh?” we all wondered as a car was parked, “It looks like Kwangmin’s car” said CNU hyung so, her best friend’s here huh?
Are they sure that they’re just friends and nothing more?

They look more like a couple then just best friends...

We entered the building and waited for the elevator to reach the ground floor. When the elevator doors opened “uh?” we said as we saw the klutz with Kwangmin

As usual, Kwangmin greeted us with a smile and said “Hey ^^” but when I turned to the klutz, she kept quiet. I noticed that her cheek were still red but not like before, wow, that fan of ours sure had a pair of gorilla hands I mean, until now her cheek is still red.

I noticed that she was looking at the others but not at me, is she trying to avoid me? Heh, well she’s still my assistant so this means that she still has to do what I say

“Where are you going?” I asked gah! Why did I say that? Oh well, I already said it... I was waiting for her answer but all she did was she walked passed by me... what? She just walked passed by me? O_o

I grabbed her wrist and said “Meet me at the roof top” then I let go and went inside the elevator, the other members followed, she just gave me a glare... the last thing I saw before the elevator doors closed was her glare...

-END of POV-

“Let’s go” MiYu said as she walked ahead and Kwangmin followed, they arrived outside, “Drive safe, I’ll see you tomorrow” she said, “I will and yeah, I’ll see you tomorrow too” said Kwangmin, MiYu smiled at him, he was about to go in but he suddenly went near MiYu and hugged her

“uh?” MiYu wondered, “I can still remember how we used to hug whenever we say good bye to each other” he said, MiYu smiled and said “Yeah, because of that some people mistook you as a gay” “Heh, I don’t care what they say, as long as I get to hug my best friend like this than I’m fine!” said Kwangmin, MiYu rolled her eyes then hugged him back and then she broke the hug

“See you” she said, Kwangmin smiled then he went inside his car and drove off, when he was already gone, MiYu went back inside. She was about to enter her apartment when she remembered what GongChan said

“Meet me at the roof top” –GongChan

“Heh, yeah right” she said to herself then she went inside her apartment. 2 and half hours have passed and MiYu couldn’t sleep, she sat up and looked outside her window.

“I wonder if he’s still there?” she said to herself “Nah, that idiot probably knew that I won’t come, I bet he didn’t even go up there tch” she added, she lied down but then sat back up, “Argsh!” she proclaimed, she got up, grabbed her robe and went to the roof top.

She opened the door and looked around “Heh, I knew it” she said, she was about to close the door when suddenly, she heard someone snore “Uh?” she wondered, she stepped outside and walked around then to her surprise, she saw GongChan leaning on the boxes and he was asleep

“What the?” she said, she went near him and tried to wake him up, “Yah, wake up” she said but GongChan didn’t wake up, she bent towards him and pushed him, he fell and woke up

“YAH!” he proclaimed, he saw MiYu and sat up, “Why did you push me!?” he added, “Are you insane? Why did you sleep here? Have you gone crazy or do you find this place more comfortable than a bed?!” MiYu responded, “Uh... I was... waiting for you” GongChan said without looking at MiYu “Uh... heh, did you really think that I was going to come up here” said MiYu “Well you’re here now, so I guess waiting for you worked” said GongChan “Uh” said MiYu “I’m leaving” she added but then GongChan stopped her “Yah, I’ve waited for 2 and half hours already just for you to come here and now you’re leaving me?” said GongChan “It’s not my fault... you could’ve just left” said MiYu “Uh...” GongChan said then he kept quiet. MiYu looked at him then she suddenly felt sorry, she released a big sigh and sat next to him

“Uh?” GongChan wondered as he turned to her, “I only felt sorry so I decided to stay” she said, “Heh, you should be, this is my first time waiting for a girl” GongChan responded “Eh?” MiYu was surprised of what he said but he kept quiet.

There was an awkward silence between them ‘till, “Does it still hurt?” asked GongChan “Huh?” MiYu wondered, GongChan faced MiYu and looked at her cheek, “It’s a bit red but not like before” he said then he gently touched it “Ow!” MiYu silently cried and she pushed GongChan’s hand away, “Sorry” he apologized, “It’s okay” MiYu responded then she kept quiet

GongChan looked at her and he suddenly felt like it was the time to apologize “I’m sorry” he said “Heh, I told you... it’s fine” said MiYu “I’m not talking about touching your cheek, I meant about that fan suddenly slapping you and all” said GongChan “Uh” MiYu said and she faced him “If I hadn’t acted that way, you wouldn’t have gotten slapped” he added, MiYu smirked and said “It’s okay... seriously... but you know what, those girls should be thankful” “Why is that?” asked GongChan “Because... I warned them about you, that you are just acting cute and all so that you can hide your bratty side” MiYu replied, “(-’_‘-) I’ll let that pass” said GongChan and MiYu giggled. There was another silence between them until MiYu suddenly felt GongChan’s head resting on her shoulder

“Yah!” she proclaimed, “Let me rest, I’m really tired” GongChan said as he closed his eyes “But why on my shoulder?” asked MiYu “Because it feels comfy” GongChan replied, MiYu blushed and turned away, she let GongChan rest on her shoulder, she looked up at the sky and suddenly smiled

“Uh? This brat is still a brat even though he apologized to me, tch... I must not let my guard down, he is one deceiving brat...” she said then she looked at GongChan who was peacefully sleeping on her shoulder “But still...” she added then she remembered what GongChan said

“Heh, you should be, this is my first time waiting for a girl” –GongChan

“He told me to come up here so that he can apologize even though he wasn’t really at fault plus... it was his first time waiting for a girl” she said, glanced at GongChan once more

“Maybe you’re not so bad at all” she said then she leaned on the wall and continued to look at the sky while GongChan was peacefully sleeping.
