Chapter Thirty Seven

A few weeks have passed and MiYu’s life continued on… one morning

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH~!” the guys from next door heard MiYu yell, they dropped what they were holding and rushed to her apartment

“What’s wrong?! Why are you yelling!?” they asked but then they saw MiYu on top of the table and she was pointing at a cockroach that was crawling on the floor and they went (-_______________-)

After that… “What the heck!? We actually thought that something was wrong with you and quickly rushed here and just because of a stupid cockroach you made us worry like that!?” Gongchan angrily proclaimed “S-Shut up! I’m not a fan of cockroaches alright so piss off!” MiYu responded “(；¬д¬) MWO?” said Gongchan
“I said piss of brat!” “KLUTZ!” “BRAT!” “KLUTZ!” “BRAT!” “GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!”

“I’m going back” Gongchan said as he left her apartment and went back to theirs “UGH, I HATE HIM!” MiYu proclaimed then “Calm down MiYu, didn’t you hear him a while ago? He said he was worried about you ^^” said CNU “Tch” said MiYu then “Speaking of, I just finished making breakfast MiYu, come over after you’re done alright?” Sandeul said “Okay!” MiYu answered and the rest of the guys went back. Moments later, MiYu joined them for breakfast

On the way to work… “Hey brat… remind me again why you’re going with me to work?（▼__▼）” MiYu asked as she felt a little bit disturbed “Well it’s our day off today and since the hyungs are busy doing their own things, I got bored and they told me to tag along with you to work” Gongchan responded “What? So they see me as your caretaker now huh (-_- ;)” said MiYu “Yeah, looks like it. Well I’ve always wanted to know what you guys do anyway so let me tag along ‘coz I’m pretty curious” said Gongchan, MiYu sighed and said “Fine”

When they arrived at her office “What’s ‘that’ doing here?” Minki asked as he pointed at Gongchan
“(# ¬＿¬) Oi Minki… you got a problem with me being here?” Gongchan asked in an irritated tone “Yes” Minki bluntly replied then he turned to MiYu “Can we throw him out noona?” “You little…”

“I can’t do that, I’m his care taker for today that is… anyway, the two of you get along if you don’t want me to throw the two of you out” said MiYu “I’ll try” said Minki “Tch” Gongchan added
“By the way, is everything ready in Yeouido Park?” MiYu asked “Ah, I just called the person in charged there and they said that they’re almost done” Minki replied “Good. When we get there everything should be ready” said MiYu then “Wait, we’re going to Yeouido Park?” Gongchan asked “Yup, we’re having a Photo shoot there” MiYu replied “I see…” said Gongchan

An hour later, they arrived at Yeouido Park and the models were getting ready, moments later, they started with the photo shoot. MiYu was the photographer for the photoshoot so Minki and Gongchan just stayed on the side, Gongchan kept looking at MiYu who was taking pictures and she looked like she was enjoying herself

“Noona always makes that face when she’s taking pictures” Minki said to break the silence “Yeah… I’ve noticed it from the very beginning” Gongchan responded and it seemed like he wasn’t aware of what he was saying “Hmm, so does this mean that from the beginning you’ve always looked at her?” Minki asked “Oh shoot, what did I just say?” Gongchan said to himself as he felt a little nervous “T-That… I meant… I… ugh… look, I wasn’t looking at her because I like her alright? I was only looking at her because of some reasons” he said to Minki “I didn’t even say that you like her and besides why are you explaining yourself to me? It makes me think that you actually like her” said Minki “Shoot, he’s right” Gongchan thought, he gave up and didn’t respond. He felt nervous and embarrassed already and Minki grinned. During lunch break, MiYu joined the two who were eating their lunch on a picnic blanket under a tree

“Looks like the two of you are on a date (since Minki looks like a girl from afar)” she said as she sat down “Eew noona, that’s disgusting” said Minki “You little… you should be grateful because you get to be mistaken as my girlfriend (-_-)” said Gongchan “It makes me want to throw up, excuse me” Minki said as he stood up and leave for a while

“What a rude kid (-_-)” said Gongchan “He’s not rude, he just doesn’t like you” MiYu said then she started eating, Gongchan looked at her and she noticed it “What?” she asked as she raised her brow “Feed me” he said “HA? (? •’_’•)” MiYu wondered “You’re my care taker for today right, well take care of me by feeding me” said Gongchan “(=///=) W-What? Feed yourself you spoiled brat” MiYu said as she turned around and continued to eat, Gongchan pouted and said “Fine” then he continued eating

After lunch, they continued with the photo shoot “Minki, fix the lighting over there!” MiYu commanded “Ne~” Minki said and he did what MiYu told him “Hey brat, make yourself useful and go get me something to drink” she said “Oh so I’m your assistant now?” asked Gongchan “(# -____-) are you looking for a fight?” said MiYu “Alright2x, I’ll go get that drink” Gongchan said then

“Hey, that guy’s an idol right?” “What’s he doing with our photographer?” “Maybe they’re dating?” MiYu overheard the models talking, she blushed and turned to them “We’re not dating!” she proclaimed “E-Eh? Really? Sorry, we just thought that you two look good together even though you bicker” one of the models said
“U-Uh?” MiYu blushed even more “Heh, look good together? That guy’s really annoying, he’s like a kid and he always irritates me!” she said then she felt something cold on top of her head, she touched it and realized that it was a bottled water then

“Well sorry if I’m irritating, here’s your bottled water” Gongchan chimed in and it surprised her, she turned to her to explain but then he just walked away “Uh?” the others wondered, she sighed and they continued with the photoshoot.

Meanwhile, Minki went near him and sat next to him “So… noona called you irritating huh” he said “Shut up kid, I’m suddenly not in the mood” Gongchan responded “So just because noona called you irritating hurts you a lot right now then that must mean that you really li-” before Minki could finish what he was saying, Gongchan stood up and left “Uh? Tch, hot head” Minki mumbled

The photo shoot ended successfully and all of them congratulated each other “It was really nice to work with you Ms. Park and I also ask for an apology because my models suddenly made you mad a while ago” the manager said “A-Ah, no need to apologize and I wasn’t mad ^^” said MiYu “Really? I feel relieved, thank you again” he said “No prob ^^” then

“MiYu-ssi, where should we put these?” one of the staff asked “Ah, over there” MiYu responded but then “Look out!” one of the staffs yelled, she turned around and widened her eyes when she saw the light stand falling and was about to hit her but then Gongchan grabbed her and pulled her away and both of them fell on the ground

“I’m so sorry! It was an accident, I didn’t mean to-” “It’s okay” MiYu said then she turned to Gongchan “Are you okay?” she asked as she helped him stand up “Y-Yeah, I’m fine” he responded then she noticed that his elbow got wounded “Come here” she said then she pulled him to a bench and made him sit

“H-Hey, what are you doing?” he said, MiYu brought out a band aid, alcohol and a piece of cotton, she placed some alcohol on the cotton and started to clean Gongchan’s wound “Geez, you’re over reacting, it’s just a small wound” he said but MiYu kept quiet

“Hey, did you hear me? I said it’s just a small wound” he repeated but still, MiYu kept quiet. He got a bit irritated “Hey, are you-” “Sorry” MiYu finally spoke “Huh?” he wondered “I didn’t mean to say those words a while ago… I was surprised and-”

“No need to explain yourself, I already understand” Gongchan cut her off “Really?” she asked and he nodded her head “You like me and got embarrassed that’s why you said those things that you didn’t mean to say” he added “（；¬＿¬) What?” MiYu said as she felt a little disturbed then she flicked him on the forehead “Yah! What was that for!?” he cried “Don’t be so full of yourself you brat” she said then she walked ahead “Tssss, klutz… *blush* really…” he said to himself and he let out a smile

After that, they went back to the office “I’ve emailed the files to you noona” said Minki “Okay, thanks” MiYu responded then “So what time are we going home?” Gongchan inserted “Depends” both Minki and MiYu replied as they were working in front of their computers, Gongchan sighed and laid back on the couch. 10 minutes later, MiYu stood up to get something to drink but when she turned to Gongchan, he was already sleeping on the couch “He sure looks tired for a guy who didn’t help much a while ago” said Minki “Heh, don’t say that. He’s probably tired because of their schedule and stuff” she said as she grabbed a blanket and put it on him

                Meanwhile, in Minji’s case… “I see… okay… okay… thank you very much” she said as she was talking to someone on the phone and after that she hung up. She released a sigh and turned to her computer, she read the e-mail that she received from the head maid that was with their parents

“There’s an article attached to it” she said and she read the article as well, after reading everything she was surprised “No way… why mom and dad didn’t tell us anything?” she said

When they were already finished with work, MiYu woke Gongchan up since it was time for them to leave “Hey, work’s finish. Let’s leave already” she said as she kept patting Gongchan but he wouldn’t wake up “HEY BRAT!” she proclaimed but suddenly, Gongchan grabbed her and pulled her towards him then hugged her, she immediately turned red and she felt nervous “H-Hey, what the heck are you doing? Let go of me!” she proclaimed “No way” he responded which surprised her
“You brat, you’re awake!?” she proclaimed and Gongchan stuck his tongue out to her “Bleh (:P)” he said suddenly “Let go of noona you ert （▼へ▼メ）” Minki said as he suddenly hit Gongchan with a towel and he was able to let go of MiYu “What the heck!? (＃｀д´)ﾉ” he proclaimed “Whew, thanks Minki” MiYu said then she flicked him on the forehead “Let’s go” and walked ahead “Tssss” Gongchan said as he sat up, picked his things up and left as well.

On the way home, Gongchan received a text from Jinyoung

“Channie, how are things with MiYu? Hope you’re not being a brat and disturbing her work (Gongchan: -_-) anyway~ We’ll be home late tonight, we’re going clubbing so you and MiYu better eat dinner okay?”

“What the? They’re going clubbing?” he said “Eh? Who?” MiYu asked “Jinyoung-hyung and the others, he said that we should just eat dinner without them” Gongchan replied “Really? Well then let’s go to an Italian restaurant, I want to eat something Italian” said MiYu “Eh?” Gongchan wondered, MiYu smiled then she grabbed his arm and dragged him to an Italian restaurant

“Huwaaa~ I miss eating out like this” MiYu said as she looked smelled the food “Then why didn’t you eat out before?” Gongchan asked “Because it’s more fun eating with you guys plus the food that Sandeul cooks is also delicious” MiYu replied “Hmm…” Gongchan said then he started eating. While they were eating, they were talking about random things but mostly they would agree

They hate to admit it but they were enjoying themselves, after eating dinner... “Hey, is it okay if we walk around the park first?” Gongchan asked “Huh? I thought you were tired and wanted to go home already?” MiYu responded “After eating, I’m fully awake! Now come on, the night lights probably look good” he said as he walked ahead “H-Hey, wait up!” MiYu followed “Aish, come here” he then held MiYu’s hand and both of them walked together. She was surprised with the sudden action and couldn’t help but blush

They entered the park, still holding hands and MiYu was getting awkward “U-Umm” she said “Ah, over there!” Gongchan let go of her hand and went near the fountain with lights “Uh?” MiYu wondered and she felt relieved then followed. She stood next to him and both of them looked at the colorful fountain

“It really looks pretty” said MiYu “Told ya” said Gongchan “Psh…” MiYu said then she remembered something “Wait, this is where Jinyoung confessed to me” she said “Uh” Gongchan said as he turned to her “A-Ah, sorry. I didn’t mean to say that, forget what I said” she added then she kept quiet and looked away “Hmm, let’s go over there” he said as he walked ahead “Uh?” MiYu then followed

They decided to pass by the path walk with pretty lights on the side then MiYu noticed something “Umm… doesn’t this place have a lot of couples?” she asked, Gongchan looked around and realized that there were a lot of couples “Oh shoot” he thought, he turned to MiYu and saw her blushing. He took a deep breath in then he held her hand

“What the?” she wondered “If we hold hands like this then it won’t be obvious that we’re not a couple” he said “Eh? But why do we have to?” she questioned “It’s embarrassing if you’re walking here alone” he said “Uh… *sigh* *blush* fine” she said as she looked away. Both of them were walking while holding hands and it seems like they were nervous as well suddenly…

Pit-pat-pit-pat-pit-pat-pit-pat-pit-pat “It’s raining” both of them said in unison “Uh?” they looked at each other then looked away, moments later the rain was starting to get stronger and they decided to look for a place to shelter

“Over there” Gongchan said as he pointed at a nearby gazebo, both of them ran towards it and stayed there until the rain stopped or at least settled down

Minutes have passed and it was still raining then Gongchan heard MiYu sigh “What’s with the sigh?” he asked “The lights were so pretty and since it rained we can’t enjoy looking at them anymore” she replied “Heh, what are you talking about?” Gongchan said “Eh?” MiYu wondered “Look” MiYu looked forward and noticed that the lights on the path walk were still on and ahead was the view of the colorful fountain “Even if it rained, we can still enjoy this view from this gazebo” he said

MiYu was in awe, she didn’t expect for a wonderful view even if it was raining. While she was looking at the view, she wasn’t aware that Gongchan was looking at her

“It’s really pretty” she said still staring at the view “Y-Yeah… very pretty” he said still looking at her then she smiled. She turned to Gongchan and he immediately looked away “Hey, you were staring at me weren’t you?” she said “A-are you kidding me? why would I stare at you in the first place, tch” he said but he wasn’t looking at her
“Liar” she said
“I’m not lying” he responded
“Obviously you are” she said “I’m not” “You are” “I’m not” “You are” “I’m not!”

“Fine, if not then tell it to me… look me right in the eye and tell me that you’re not lying” she said “E-Eh? (O///O)” he was surprised “What’s wrong? Are you finally saying that you were lying?” she said “Ugh, fine”

Gongchan turned to her and looked at her, MiYu was pretty calm since she was sure that Gongchan was lying but deep inside she was starting to get nervous and her heart was beating faster but her expression didn’t show it. She wanted to prove to Gongchan that he was lying
Gongchan looked at her straight in the eyes but when he did, he suddenly felt a fuzzy feeling inside

“Shoot, what the heck is happening to me?” he thought. “What’s wrong? You’re not going to say it?” said MiYu “I- I will” he replied “Here it goes… go on… just say it… ‘I’m not’ simple as that…” he said to himself

“I…” he said but as he continued to look at her, his heart continued to beat faster and it gave him a harder time to say what he was supposed to say

“I…” but then RING~ RING~ RING~ MiYu’s phone rang, she turned away to search for it while Gongchan released a sigh of relief. MiYu looked at the caller and it was Minki

“Hello Minki?” she said
“For once I’m grateful that kid called” Gongchan said in his thoughts
“I’m at the park right now… why? Well that brat said that he wanted to stop by before going back to the apartment… uhh… there’s no need to poison him…” –MiYu (still talking to Minki on the phone)
“Poison? That kid seriously hates me （；¬＿¬)” Gongchan thought
“Tomorrow? Okay… okay then… bye” MiYu said then she hung up “What was that about?” Gongchan asked “Ah, about tomorrow’s photo shoot being rescheduled” MiYu replied
“Which means?” “I have free time the whole afternoon… finally, a break!” she beamed “Uh, good for you” he said “What’s that? You don’t sound happy anyway~ where were we?” she said as she was interested in going back to the part where Gongchan would give in but then

“A-Ah look, the rain stopped let’s go back~” he said as he stood up and went out of the gazebo “Hey! That’s unfair!” MiYu proclaimed “Nothing’s always fair :P” said Gongchan “Why you… （▼へ▼メ）” he laughed at her and said “Sorry” as he stuck his tongue out and walked ahead. MiYu sighed and followed as well

When they got back, Gongchan was surprised to see Jinyoung and the others in their apartment “What the? I thought you guys went clubbing?” Gongchan asked “Well we were going to but then hyung here said that we shouldn’t-” but before Sandeul could finish what he was saying, Jinyoung covered his mouth

“We suddenly felt that it was going to rain and it did, so we didn’t go” said Jinyoung “So you mean all this time, you guys were at home?” Gongchan asked “Yup” all of them replied in unison “And I just ate dinner with that klutz… just the two of us… dinner… just the two of us…” he said “Yup” they responded “And for your information, it’s a dinner DATE ♥” Baro added, Gongchan suddenly turned red and felt embarrassed everywhere

“Omo, look at him he’s red” said CNU “He must’ve had a blast with MiYu” Sandeul added “Ah, our maknae’s growing up” said Jinyoung “S-SHUT UP!”

The next morning… “Aigoo, stupid hyungs, because of what happened last night I couldn’t sleep well, tch” Gongchan murmured as he went to the fridge to get something to drink “Uh, I wonder if she’s awake already?” he added.

He decided to go to MiYu’s apartment next door to check on her, he knocked on the door but she didn’t answer, he decided to enter

“Hey klutz, I’m coming in” he said as he opened the door and went in “Where is she?” he asked himself, he looked for her inside her room but she wasn’t there, there also wasn’t anyone in the bathroom and she wasn’t in the kitchen. He looked at the living room and found her there sitting on the floor and she was leaning on the couch that’s why he couldn’t see her from the door “What the? What are you doing?” he asked but she didn’t respond, instead, she looked like she was carefully watching the news and she was in shock. He turned to the TV and..

“Looks like the ever powerful J company has not only climbed on to the top 10 richest companies in Asia but it’s now placed in the top 2 right after Park Corp. And who could be the one behind the success of this company? Well it’s no other than their successor Jo Kwangmin”

“Jo Kwangmin?” Gongchan said then he saw Kwangmin in the news and it was during a press conference “No way…” he said then…

“Kwangmin… he can’t be… NO WAY… (((( ;°Д°))))” –MiYu

Author’s Note:  Umm, so it's another late update. I'm really sorry (TT_TT) Okay, so I'm not pretty confident with this chapter because I don't think it's good enough (╥﹏╥) I'm sorry!! But still, I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter
