Chapter Thirty Four

On the way back to their office, MiYu kept on looking at Minki, she kept staring at his chest and recalled what happened a while ago in Minji’s office

Flashback

“Right! Nice too meet you, I’m Park MiYu and I- wait a minute… HE!? (=[]=)”MiYu proclaimed. She looked closely at him and he was wearing guy clothes and his chest wasn’t the same as a girl’s

“That’s right, Minki’s a guy. I also thought that he was a girl when I first saw him but it turns out he was actually cross dressing”Minji responded “Y-You’re a cross dresser?” MiYu asked Minki and Minki nodded his head. “I-I see (^_^||)” said MiYu

-END-

“So he cross dresses… but I actually thought he was a girl, with that long hair of his and that feminine vibe that he’s giving off, I really thought that he’s a girl but *looks at Minki* he seems to be the quiet and shy type so I think we’ll get along well” she said in her thoughts

“Umm” the two of them said in unison “Uh? You go ahead” said MiYu “U-Umm, your sister mentioned before that it would be comfortable if you worked with a girl, y-you know, if you want, I can cross dress every day as a girl to make you comfortable” he said “E-Eh? There’s no need for that ^^” said MiYu “Really? Are you okay if I dress as a guy?” Minki asked “Of course! It would be even weird if you cross dress” said MiYu “Uh?” Minki wondered “B-But I did not mean that in an offensive way, what I mean is that it would be more comfortable for you if you dress as a guy right?” said MiYu “Uh, well I’m comfortable with both” said Minki “I-I see (^^||) but just dress as a guy” said MiYu “Okay (^o^)” Minki responded. MiYu smiled and said to herself “He seems harmless and cute ^^” she said to herself then a worker accidentally bumped into Minki

“Ah, sorry” the worker apologized but then Minki gave him a scary glare that made the worker walk away faster “Uh? What was that about?” MiYu asked “Dunno” Minki responded with a huge smile on his face “Uh” MiYu said then she smiled back.

                Meanwhile, in B1A4’s case…

“Yosh, break time guys” the choreographer said and the five boys threw themselves on the floor “That was tiring” said Baro “Hey, are we going to eat lunch here again?” Sandeul asked “Yup” Jinyoung responded “But hyung, I want to eat out with MiYu~” said Baro “Well we can invite her if you want” said CNU “But isn’t she busy?” asked Sandeul “Let’s go ask her, Channie, call her” said Jinyoung “Huh? Why me?” Gongchan responded “Just call her” said Jinyoung. Gongchan sighed then he grabbed his phone and dialed MiYu’s number

RING~ RING~ RING~ RING~

*Phone Convo*

Caller: *guy’s voice* Hello?
Gongchan: Uh? Hey Park MiYu, is this you? What happened to your voice?
Caller: Who is this?
Gongchan: What? Are you fooling around with me? Jeez, such an idiot
Caller: Huh? *irritated* listen here you moron, I was properly asking you who you are but then you suddenly say that I’m an idiot!?
Gongchan: What’s your problem? And do you have a problem with me calling you an idiot?
Caller: You don’t call girls idiot you moron!
Gongchan: MWO!?
Caller: Don’t call here again! *hangs up*

*END of PHONE CONVO*

Gongchan was a lot pissed after the phone call “Well? What did she say?” asked Baro “I DON’T KNOW! YOU CALL THAT IDIOT KLUTZ YOURSELF!” he responded then he slammed the door as he left the room “Uh? What’s with him?” asked Baro and the others shrugged.

Back in MiYu’s case, when she got back to her office… “Ah, noona, someone just called” said Minki “Really? Well who was it?” MiYu asked “Some rude bastard, but I took care of him” Minki responded “I see, thanks! ^^” said MiYu then she sat down on her desk and continued to do her work.

During lunch time…

“Uh? It’s 12 already, hey Minki, do you want to go out and eat lunch?” MiYu invited “Eh? Can I?” Minki asked “Sure, it’ll be my treat since you’re my new assistant ^^” MiYu responded “Really? Thank you so much noona!” Minki beamed, MiYu noticed that he looked like a kid and she smiled.

The two decided to have lunch at a nearby restaurant, while they were waiting for their orders… “So how exactly did you and my sister meet?” “Oh, you see at this part time job I got, I always cross dress and there was one time when we had a photo shoot outside the café, your sister spotted me in my girl clothes. She thought I was a girl and immediately gave me her business card. I was really curious why she did that so on the next day, I met up with her and she was really shocked when she found out that I was a guy but still, she gave me a job as your assistant so I guess it’s kindda okay to take it since I also need extra money right now” said Minki “Ooh… so my sister huh… well, you can’t help it. She’s easily attracted to cute girls…” said MiYu “Yeah, haha” said Minki then “Ah, it’s really MiYu!” they turned around and saw two guys walking towards them

“Youngjae, Daehyun…” she said “Uh?” Minki wondered “Hey, long time no see ^^” said Youngjae “H-Hi” Daehyun added. MiYu smiled and asked “How are you guys?” “We’re doing fine, how about you? It’s been three months since your best friend left” said Youngjae “I’ve been doing fine as well, Jinyoung and the others are also keeping me company that way I won’t feel lonely” said MiYu “That’s great ^^” said Youngjae then “Ah, by the way, this is Choi Minki, my temporary assistant. Minki, are you familiar with B.A.P.? These two are from that group” said MiYu “M-hm, *faces the two guys* Nice to meet you, I’m Choi Minki and I’m a guy” he said

The two guys went (=[]=) after hearing him say ‘I’m a guy’ they looked at him from head to toe and… “A guy” they said to each other “Umm, is there a problem?” Minki asked “N-No, it’s just that… you’re pretty for a guy” said Youngjae but Minki didn’t respond to him. Youngjae turned to MiYu and said “Well we better get going, we still have to catch up with the others, hope you and Daehyun can hang out soon~” then Daehyun hit him on the head and said “Please don’t mind him, it was nice to see you again” MiYu gave him a warm smile that made him blush “Same here ^^” Minki looked at him, he noticed how Daehyun reacted to what Youngjae said

“Well, we’ll go ahead now, bye MiYu, my Minki” said Youngjae, they waved good-bye and walked towards the door, Daehyun took a glance at them but when he did, he was shocked to see Minki glaring at him “U-Uh…” he said.

                Moments later, their order arrived and they started eating. After eating, outside the company building…

“Hey klutz!” they heard someone yell, they turned around and saw Gongchan walking towards them “Uh? What’s that brat doing here?” she wondered “Uh” said Minki

Gongchan faced her then he suddenly pinched her cheeks “YAAAAAAH!” she proclaimed as she hit him “OI YOU BRAT, HOW DARE YOU DO THAT!?” she proclaimed, “What do you mean!? You started it! And why is your voice back to normal!?” Gongchan responded “HUH!? What are you talking about?” asked MiYu “How dare you, you forgot about the phone call *pissed*” he replied “What phone call?” MiYu wondered “Don’t play dumb with me (-’_‘-)” said Gongchan “No, seriously… I didn’t talk on the phone with you” said MiYu. Gongchan noticed that she really had no idea what he was talking about then

“Umm, I think it was me whom you talked to” Minki inserted “Uh?” the two wondered then MiYu remembered what Minki told her before about a rude bastard who called

“Ah, so the rude bastard that you were talking about was him?” she asked and Minki nodded his head “I see… but you should’ve told me that it was an idiotic rude brat who called, I might’ve guessed that it was really this brat” said MiYu then Gongchan gave her a smack on the head “Shut up” he added then he turned to Minki, he looked at him from head to toe and said “A guy huh?” then he turned to MiYu

“Who is he?” he asked, “My temporary assistant, Choi Minki this is the rude brat Gongchan Shik” she replied while she was rubbing the back of her head that Gongchan smacked
“Nice to meet you” Gongchan said as he wanted to shake hands with Minki but then Minki slapped his hand away “Uh!?” the two of them were surprised then…
“Sorry… but I have no interest in making friends with a guy who hits girls” he said then he looked at Gongchan in the eyes with a glare, the two went (=[]=!?) then he turned to MiYu
“Noona, I’m going ahead inside first, please don’t talk to him much longer” he said then he left. Gongchan felt a little bit irritated after hearing what Minki said about him

“What’s with that kid? Suddenly says that he doesn’t want to make friends with me…” he said then he turned to MiYu and noticed that she was smirking “W-What the? Why are you smirking?” he asked “Actually… this is interesting… he hates you” she responded “I feel like I don’t have any good feeling about this (-__-)” he said then his phone beeped, he looked at it and after reading the message

“Hey klutz, I have to go back already” he said “Uh? So you went here just to blame on me?” she asked “(-__-||) Well sorry for suddenly blaming you like that but that’s not the reason why I came here” he responded “Uh?” she wondered “I was just checking to see if you’re okay” he added, MiYu suddenly blushed after hearing what he said, she looked away and said “I-I see…”

“Well, I’m heading back, see ya in tonight’s dinner” he said as he waved good-bye then left. When he was already gone, MiYu felt her heart beating fast again

“URRRRGHHH, WHY MUST IT BE LIKE THIS (>__

When she arrived at her office, “So did he leave already?” Minki asked as soon as MiYu entered the room “Uh, yeah” she responded then she went to her desk and sat down “So… you seem to dislike guys even though you’re a guy yourself” she said
“Uh… I have my own reason” said Minki “Uh? Do you want to talk about it with me?” she asked but he didn’t respond “Uh, well okay then. I’ll just wait for you to open up to me ^^” she said then she continued to do her work, Minki looked at her and smiled then he started to do his as well.

                When Gongchan got back, “Channie~ where have you been? You missed out on lunch with us” said Sandeul “I went out to eat lunch by myself” he responded “EH!?” both Sandeul and Baro proclaimed then Jinyoung gently smacked him with a bottled water

“Uh?” Gongchan wondered as he turned to him “So… how was she?” Jinyoung asked “Uh, heh, same as always but… she seems to have a new assistant who hates me” Gongchan replied “Eh? Don’t worry, there are also other girls who hate you” said Jinyoung “It’s not a girl, it’s a guy” said Gongchan and Jinyoung made a (.____.) face

After work, MiYu decided to stop by the grocery store to do some grocery shopping

“It’s nice to know that you’re coming along with me as well Minki ^^” she said “Well, I also have to do some grocery shopping too. I’m going to cook dinner tonight for my mom” Minki responded “You live with your mom?” MiYu asked and Minki nodded his head “Though, I’m a bit embarrassed that I told you that I’m living with my mom” he added “Uh? What’s there to be embarrassed about? I think your mom is really lucky because she has a son who still lives with her and cares for her, you know, some guys at your age right now won’t even bother to go visit their mothers once in a while so I think there’s nothing to be embarrassed about” said MiYu “Uh” Minki said then he smiled and added “Thanks noona” “No problem, now, let’s go shopping~” MiYu beamed and Minki nodded his head.

When MiYu arrived at her apartment, she noticed that the guys still haven’t arrived “Okay! Time for me to cook dinner for six~” she said then she went to her kitchen and started to cook
Meanwhile…

“Waaah~ seriously, I want to go home already!” Baro whined while they had their 5-minute break “Uh, MiYu texted and told me that she prepared dinner for us” Jinyoung said as he was looking at his phone “EH? SERIOUSLY? NOW I REALLY REALLY REALLY WANT TO GO HOOOOOME~” said Baro then “After one more round of practice, you guys can leave” said manager Yun “Really?” they asked and the man nodded his head. After a round of practice, they were allowed to go home…

On the way back, “I wonder what MiYu will cook for us tonight?” said Sandeul “Whatever it is, as long as we can eat it then it’s fine” said Gongchan “But the truth is you’re really happy because MiYu is cooking dinner for you, right? (¬‿¬)” Baro teased, Gongchan glared at him then he pinched his cheeks, “H-Hey Channie! Stop that (>_<)” Baro proclaimed “No way” Gongchan responded then they accidentally bumped into someone

“Ah, sorry” they apologized, the person turned to them and when Gongchan saw the face

“YOU!” he proclaimed as he saw Minki “Uh?” Minki wondered then “Hey Channie, don’t raise your voice to a girl!” said Baro but then “He’s/I’m a guy (-_-)” both Gongchan and Minki said in unison. Baro looked at him from head to toe and “NO WAY (=[]=)”

                “Hmm, I think I made a lot…” MiYu said as she finished setting the table up and placing the dishes then DING DONG, the doorbell rang. She went to the door and opened it then

“We’re back~” the five guys said “Welcome ba-uh? Minki?” she wondered as she noticed Minki whom Gongchan got a hold of “We bumped into him on the way here” said Gongchan “Uh” said MiYu

                Moments later…

“Oh, so you’re Kwangmin’s replacement” said CNU and Minki slightly nodded his head while eating “I can’t believe it, and I actually thought that your sister actually hired a cute assistant, turns out to be a guy” said Baro then “If you say that in front of Soo Min, I wonder how will she react?” said Jinyoung “There’s no way I would ever replace my precious Soo Min (=^w^=)” said Baro then
“I’m finish, can I leave now?” Minki said as he stood up and was about to leave

“Eh? Already? Wait a minute, I-” “Leaving already? Heh, what a pity” Gongchan said. Minki paused for a while then he turned to him “What else do you want from me?” he said “Are you going to leave just because you feel uncomfortable eating in the same table with me? Or is it because you feel uncomfortable whenever there are guys around?” Gongchan questioned
“Heh, eating with you guys… I really hate it. It disgusts me” he responded then he turned to MiYu “See you tomorrow noona” then he left.

When he was already gone…

“OI, WHAT WAS THAT ALL ABOUT? (-_-)” Baro said as he felt a little bit irritated “Channie, was that the guy you told me about who hates you?” Jinyoung asked and Gongchan nodded his head “I can see why…” said Jinyoung “(-’_‘-) W-What the?” said Gongchan

                The next morning, when MiYu arrived at her office

“Good morning” she greeted as she entered the room, “Uh, morning noona” Minki greeted back while he was doing his work “Uh, Minki, sorry for what happened last night. It must’ve really made you feel uncomfortable” said MiYu “Don’t apologize to me, I should be the one to apologize sine I was the guest and I was being rude but it is true, I felt really uncomfortable but still, I shouldn’t have acted that rude. Those guys must hate me right now huh” said Minki
“Uh” MiYu said then she patted him on the head “Don’t worry, they don’t hate you, they were shocked but they don’t hate you ^^” she added
Minki felt touched and didn’t say another word.

When it was already lunch time…

“Uh? Hey Minki, let’s go out to eat lunch again” she said “Where to?” Minki asked “To B1A4’s practice room ^^” MiYu responded “E-Eh?” –Minki

On the way there…

“Noona, are you sure that it’s okay to have lunch with them?” Minki asked “What are you talking about? they’re the ones who invited us so it’s really okay” MiYu responded “But… they might hate me” said Minki “Don’t worry, they don’t hate you” said MiYu “But-” “Ah, we’re here” MiYu said then she grabbed Minki’s arm and the two of them went inside the building

“We’re here~” she beamed as she entered the practice room and the food was ready “Ah, good timing” CNU said and the two sat down as well
Minki kept quiet and didn’t want to say a word, he was still uncomfortable. He glanced at them and he caught Gongchan glaring at him “UH!” he said as he stood up

“Minki?” MiYu wondered then “I’m sorry, I need to go” he said then he left “EH? What did we do this time?” Baro asked then “I’ll go after him” MiYu said as she left and went after Minki

Outside… “H-Hey wait!” she said but Minki ignored her “Yah! Minki, wait up!” she proclaimed once more then she accidentally bumped into a person really hard that she fell “Oww (>.<)” she cried then “Are you okay noona?” Minki said as he helped her up
“Uh… yeah, thanks” she responded

                At the park, the two were sitting quietly on the bench and they were looking at the sky. She turned to him and noticed that he was in a daze then
“Sorry, I did it again” he said “Uh, it’s okay” she responded then
“I really don’t hate guys… it’s just that… I can’t stand it whenever a guy goes near you” he said and MiYu was surprised of what she heard

“Ah, but don’t worry, I don’t have any feelings for you it’s just that… I think that you should be protected from guys” he said “Eh? I don’t get it at all” said MiYu

“Heh, noona, I told you that I live with my mom right?” he said and MiYu nodded her head “My dad used to beat my mom up when I was still a kid and I promised myself that when I grow up, we’ll leave the house and I’ll be the one to take care of  my mom. At the age of 18, my mom and I ran away and we never showed our faces to my dad again. Because of that, I always hated guys even though I’m a guy myself that’s why when I cross dress, I feel comfortable. Another reason why I don’t want guys to go near you is because… well, you may not remember this anymore but I sure remembered it” he said

“Uh?” MiYu wondered

 “A year ago, my mom went missing. I kept looking for her and was getting worried because it was already getting late. I was planning to go search for her the next day but on my way home, when I passed by the park near our apartment, I saw her and she was with a girl. The girl was keeping her company and was taking care of her, honestly, I was really happy at that time because my mother was kept on smiling, when I went near them my mother saw me and ran towards me I turned to the girl and thanked her, she gave me a gentle smile and said

‘So you’re the son whom your mother was talking about, well she’s right, she’s really lucky ^^’ and after that, she left. I couldn’t ask for her name but I was hoping that I would see her again but then yesterday, when I met you, I couldn’t help but feel really happy inside… I was so happy because now, I’m able to work with the girl who took care of my mother while she was missing and I said to myself that I will protect you from any other guys who would come in contact with you” he said

“Uh… *smile* really, I knew it. You are a cute kid” MiYu said as she patted him on the head “But you know what, I can do that by myself you know. I’m not some kind of stupid girl who would let any guy touch me” she added “Uh… noona…” he said “And you know what? You can trust those guys” she said “When my best friend left, I felt lonely but then they were always the one who would keep me company that’s why I trust them so… you should trust them as well and be friends with them” she added

“B-But… is it okay? What if they hurt you or something?” Minki asked
“Don’t worry, I trust those guys and I know that they will never hurt me” she replied. Minki sighed and said “Okay but noona… please allow me to protect you from any other guy besides them” MiYu laughed and said “Seriously, you’re cute ^^ *smile* fine, I’ll allow you” “REALLY?” Minki said as his eyes sparkled, MiYu giggled and nodded her head “THANK YOU NOONA~” he beamed as he hugged her like a kid, “Alright, why don’t we go back and apologize to them?” she said, Minki nodded his head and they went back to the practice room

                “I’m sorry” he said as he did a 90 degrees bow and apologized to them “H-Hey, there’s no need to do that, besides, we get you… you were uncomfortable because you had your own reason” said Jinyoung “Uh… Thank you” said Minki then “See, I told you they’re nice” said MiYu and Minki nodded his head then he noticed that Gongchan was looking at him

“I still hate him though” Minki said as he pointed his finger at Gongchan “WHAT!? (=[]=)” Gongchan proclaimed and the others laughed at him

MiYu’s POV:

I’m so glad that he actually made friends with them. Honestly, I was a bit worried but now, seems like everything’s okay. I hope that they’ll continue to get along….

Kwangmin, I wonder how you’re doing? It’s been 3 months since you left and you didn’t even bother to write to me or send e-mails or even call. Seriously, when you come back you’re gonna get beaten up by me

Argsh, Jo Kwangmin… I hope you’re here to see how well we’re doing and how we are happily getting along with each other….

I hope that we’ll continue to be this happy until you come back…

-END of POV-

                Meanwhile, at the airport…

“AH~ FINALLY! After 2 years, I’m finally back~” the guy said as he stretched out his arms and looked at the clear blue sky, he noticed the billboard that had Five Star Magazine’s logo on it and Minji’s name below the logo

“Heh, Park MiYu… I can’t wait to see you again” he said.
