Chapter Twenty Five

MiYu’s POV:      

Ever since that day that Jinyoung-ssi confessed to me, these past few days, we were able to know each other more and we hang out a lot more often, I can sense that I’m getting closer to Jinyoung-ssi but somehow, I have a feeling that someone is getting lonelier and lonelier as well...

“You guys are having lunch together again?” Kwangmin asked as he placed the folders on my table, “I think so, he said that he’ll just call me” I replied “I see” he responded then he went to his desk. These past few days, I can also sense that something’s wrong with Kwangmin, he seldom talks to me, it’s like he’s mad at me or something but I asked him that one time if he’s mad at me, he said that he’s not but... I really think he’s mad at me (=_=)

“Kwangmin” I said as I approached him, “Mmm?” he responded while his eyes were still on the computer. I knew it, he’s mad, he didn’t even look at me (>.<)

“I-If it’s okay, do you want to have lunch together?” I asked, I didn’t know why but I just had to say it, I really think that he’s mad and I want to talk to him too, he turned to me with serious eyes, I kind of felt nervous “I refuse” he said. WHAT!? The heck!? How dare you turn me down Jo Kwangmin!

“Yah, let’s go eat lunch together!” I proclaimed but he ignored me, “Why you little...”

In the end, at the company’s cafeteria...

“Y-Yah! Let me go!” Kwangmin proclaimed as he was struggling to get out from the chair that MiYu tied him to “If I let you go, you’ll just run away from me” MiYu responded while eating “Heh, do you really think that I would do such a thing?” Kwangmin asked and MiYu turned to him “T-That’s not what I meant, I’m just saying that-” “Forget it!” Kwangmin said then he kept quiet. “U-Uh” MiYu said then she stood up and went near him, she untied him and he moved his arms around because they were getting numb, then he noticed that MiYu was leaving

“Yah, where are you going?” he asked as he stood up, “Out for a walk, don’t worry, I’ll be back by 1” MiYu replied then she left, “M-MiYu...” Kwangmin said then he released a sigh.

                Meanwhile, MiYu decided to go to the rooftop of their company building wherein it had a mini garden, she decided to take pictures of the sky while at the same time, thinking about Kwangmin

“I wonder what his problem is? I only wanted to eat lunch with him together, is that so wrong? Some friend, tch” she murmured and continued to take pictures, then

“MiYu!” Minwoo called as he saw her and went near her, “What are you doing here?” he asked, “Taking pictures of the sky so that my anger will go away” MiYu replied “Really? Well at least you’re not that violent anymore ^^” Minwoo responded, “Err (-_-) what are you doing here anyway?” she asked “Well I’ve heard that there was a garden at the roof top and I wanted to check it out, woah~ it’s really amazing here!” Minwoo beamed, “Heh” said MiYu “By the way, why were you angry?” Minwoo asked as he turned to her “Uh... umm” MiYu said then she started to tell him what happened, after that

“Kwangmin yelled at you and you got upset about it?” Minwoo asked and MiYu nodded her head “Hmm, that’s rare since Kwangmin promised to himself that he would never yell at you in a serious way” Minwoo added “Eh? What do you mean?” MiYu wondered, “MiYu is very precious to Kwangmin ^^” he replied and MiYu slightly blushed “P-Precious? What does that mean? What are you trying to tell me?” she questioned but then “Oh no, I better get back, my other co-workers might be looking for me, I told them that I’ll be gone for a while” Minwoo said as he started to leave, “Wait, Minwoo!” MiYu called and he turned to him “Yeah?” he said, “Please tell me more when we see each other again” she said, Minwoo smiled and he nodded his head “We’ll continue our conversation when we see each other again!” he added then he left, MiYu smiled “Minwoo is such a cute kid, no wonder Kwangmin likes to hang out with him ^^” she said to herself then she continued to take pictures.

                After taking pictures, she went back to their office. She entered the office and saw Kwangmin sleeping on the couch, “Uh?” she wondered as she went near him “He must be really tired, maybe that’s the reason why he didn’t mean to yell at me” she said, she smiled then she took her coat off and placed it on him “You just rest there okay?” she added then she went to her desk and continued working.

When it was already 5:00PM

“GAH!” Kwangmin proclaimed as he quickly sat up “What a horrible dream, I was getting married to Minwoo, argsh” he mumbled then he noticed that the office was dark “What time is it?” he asked himself, he looked at his watch and realized that it was already 5:00PM “You have got to be kidding me!?” he proclaimed “I have to go back to work quickly and finish my job, where’s MiYu? Uh?” he added then he remembered when he yelled at MiYu at the cafeteria “Why am I looking for her? She’s probably mad at me because I yelled at her a while ago” he said then he released a sigh. He noticed the coat that became his blanket while he was sleeping, he looked at it and remembered the coat that MiYu wore this morning, he smelled it “It’s hers alright” he said then he noticed a note on the table

“Kwangmin~ if you read this, you’re probably awake already (XD) I wanted to wake you up but you seem tired and really need some rest so I’ve decided to let you sleep until you wake up by yourself. I’ve decided to go home first, is it okay? And I’m sorry for tying you to that chair a while ago now I get it why you yelled at me but don’t worry, I’m fine with it ^^ hope you’ll have a good rest tonight, see you tomorrow!” –MiYu

Kwangmin smiled then he hugged MiYu’s coat “MiYu...” he said.

                Meanwhile, at the apartment “Dinner’s ready!” MiYu proclaimed and the five guys went to the dining table “Yah, this better taste good” GongChan said as he started eating then he was silenced “You were saying?” MiYu said as she smirked “S-Shut up (-_-||)” GongChan said and he continued eating. “you should’ve invited Kwangmin-ssi to eat with us” said CNU “I wanted to, but he seems really tired and I didn’t want to disturb him” MiYu responded “Has he been that busy?” asked Baro and MiYu nodded her head “You two are best friends right? Kwangmin sure is lucky because he has you to count on” said Sandeul “uh” MiYu said then she remembered the times when Kwangmin was always there to help her “Come to think of it... Kwangmin’s always there whenever I need help but... was I always there when he needed my help?” she said to herself then she accidentally dropped the glass that she was carrying “Uh!?” the others were surprised “S-Sorry, I didn’t mean to, it was an accident” she said and she started to pick the broken pieces of glass, then “I’ll help you with that” Sandeul said as he went near her and helped her “Be careful or you’ll get-” “Ow!” MiYu cried as she a broken glass wounded her thumb, “Argsh, let me see” Sandeul said as he grabbed MiYu’s thumb, “Get me a first aid kit” he said and Baro gave him the first aid kit

Moments later, “There” Sandeul said as he finished treating MiYu’s thumb “Thanks and sorry for my clumsiness ^^” MiYu responded “Heh, maybe you should go and rest first, I bet you’re also tired today” said Jinyoung “Uh, okay. I’ll see you guys tomorrow and I’m sorry for breaking the glass” MiYu said as she stood up but then Jinyoung grabbed her and hugged her “uh?” she was surprised and so were the others, “Good night” he said, MiYu broke the hug and she nodded her head then she quickly left

“That was unexpected” said Baro then he turned to GongChan and saw him smirking, “heh” he said.

When MiYu arrived at her apartment, she saw something placed on her table; she looked at it and realized that it was her coat “Uh? Kwangmin? Did he came here?” she asked herself then she noticed the note attached to it

“Hey, thanks for lending me this coat and for letting me rest. I have to admit, it was a long nap but worth it, thank you and I’m sorry for yelling at you a while ago. I didn’t mean to do it, I promise you, I will never yell at you like that ever again, I’m sorry” –Kwangmin

“Kwangmin...” MiYu said then she remembered what Minwoo said before

“MiYu is very precious to Kwangmin ^^”

“What did Minwoo mean when he said that I was precious to Kwangmin?” she asked herself; she also remembered what Sandeul said

“...Kwangmin sure is lucky because he has you to count on”

“That’s not true, I’m lucky to have Kwangmin because he’s always there for me... I feel like he’s not my best friend but somehow, like my butler. He’s always there for me but I don’t remember a time being there for him, I am the worse. I don’t deserve to be called as his best friend...” she added then she released a big sigh and went to her room.

The next day, when she arrived at her office “Uh?” she wondered as she noticed that she was the only one in their office. “Where is he?” she asked herself, then “MiYu-ah~” Minji said as she entered the office “Uh, unni! Where’s Kwangmin? Why isn’t he here?” MiYu asked “Woah, take it easy. Didn’t Youngmin call you?” Minji asked “Eh?” MiYu responded “Kwangmin’s sick and he can’t come to work today” Minji replied “EH!?” MiYu cried, “So you’ll have to do-” “Unni, I’m leaving!” MiYu proclaimed as she grabbed her bag “Wait, what!?” Minji exclaimed “Where are you going?” she added “To take care of Kwangmin... I feel like I should become more useful since I am his best friend” MiYu responded then she left “Uh? Heh, seriously MiYu...” Minji said to herself then she saw the picture frame on MiYu’s desk, it was a picture of him and Kwangmin during their high school graduation “Those two... they’ve been friends for a long time already, heh” Minji added, she smiled then went back to her office.

                Meanwhile, in Kwangmin’s house

“Tsk Tsk Tsk, your temperature sure is high” Youngmin said as he looked at the thermometer “That’s why I told you not to go out that late, you could’ve returned the coat on the next day” he added as he looked at Kwangmin who was resting on his bed “Sorry” he apologized as he covered his face with the blanket, “Heh, no need to ask for an apology brother” said Youngmin “But hyung, you missed a very important meeting just to take care of me” said Kwangmin “You’re more important than a business meeting” Youngmin responded as he stood up “Uh, thanks hyung” said Kwangmin, Youngmin smiled and patted him on the head “You just rest there and I’ll wake you up when it’s time to eat” he said, Kwangmin nodded his head then Youngmin went out of his room and went to the kitchen.

Kwangmin looked at the ceiling as he was thinking about MiYu

“I wonder what would happen if she knew that I was sick, would she come here and take care of me?” he asked himself, he released a sigh and went to sleep.

“Yosh, I’m finally here” MiYu said as she arrived at Kwangmin’s front door “It’s been so long since I’ve been to Kwangmin’s place, usually, he’s the one who always comes to my place” she said. She was hesitating if she will ring the doorbell or not but DING DONG, she rang it anyway.

Moments later, the door opened “Uh? MiYu-ssi?” Youngmin said as he saw her “Y-Youngmin!” MiYu responded “So you heard that he’s sick?” Youngmin asked “Uh, m-hm” MiYu replied as she nodded her head “He’s asleep right now so I think you should come back later” said Youngmin but then “W-Wait! I came here because I... want to take care of him” said MiYu “Uh?” Youngmin wondered then he smiled “Come in” he said as he let MiYu enter their house.

                30 minutes later, “Wake him up when the food’s ready okay? I’ll be back before 6” Youngmin said as he put his coat on “B-But will it be fine to let me take care of him? I mean, I want to take care of him but what if things go wrong?” asked MiYu “Don’t worry, everything will be fine, if you get into trouble, I’m just one call away ^^” Youngmin replied “Uh” said MiYu “Plus... I think he’ll get better faster if he found out that you’re the one taking care of him” he mumbled “Eh?” MiYu said as she heard Youngmin mumbling “Ah, never mind that. I’ll see you tonight MiYu-ssi, I’m counting on you! BYE!” Youngmin proclaimed then he left. MiYu took a deep breath and exhaled it “Okay, it’s time to take care of Kwangmin!” she proclaimed then she went to the kitchen to prepare for Kwangmin’s lunch.

On the other hand, “You’re not eating lunch with MiYu-ssi again?” CNU asked as he went near Jinyoung, “Uh yeah, Kwangmin got sick and she said that she needs to take care of him” Jinyoung responded “I see, well then I guess you’re stuck with us” CNU said as he put his arms around Jinyoung's shoulder “Heh, yeah” Jinyoung responded.

Back at Kwangmin’s house, “Urgh” Kwangmin groaned as he was slowly opening his eyes, he saw a figure looking at him “H-Hyung?” he wondered but then he noticed that it was a girl “Hyung’s a girl?” he added. His vision got clearer and realized that it was MiYu who was looking at him, “MiYu?” he wondered as he saw her, “Good, you’re awake! I was starting to get worried that the soup might get cold” said MiYu “W-Wait, what are you doing here? Where’s hyung?” asked Kwangmin “Did he call you to take his place?” he added “What? For your information, I came here after unni told me that you were sick, I also volunteered to take care of you, sheesh” MiYu responded “Uh, sorry” Kwangmin said as he looked down, “Hmm, yah, you better eat this soup up. It’s really good you know” MiYu said as she started to feed Kwangmin “Say AH~” she said, Kwangmin opened his mouth and MiYu started feeding him, “How is it?” she asked “D-Delicious” Kwangmin responded “Heehee, I knew you’d like it!” said MiYu “But... mine is still better” he added, MiYu looked a little bit pissed “EAT” she said and Kwangmin laughed at her and continued eating.

After eating, MiYu went downstairs to wash the dishes while Kwangmin stayed in his room and was staring at the ceiling

“I never thought that... she would come here to take care of me” he said to himself as he felt happy, a smile was formed on his face “MiYu...”

Then, “I’m done washing the dishes, do you need anything?” MiYu said as she entered Kwangmin’s room “Uh, how about we talk?” Kwangmin suggested “Uh, okay then” MiYu responded then Kwangmin sat up and MiYu sat on his bed “So... what now?” asked MiYu

“Why did you come here?” asked Kwangmin

“What kind of stupid question is that” MiYu responded

“Instead of working, you came here to take care of me and yesterday, you cancelled lunch with Jinyoung just to have lunch with me... why?” Kwangmin added.
“It’s because... you’re my best friend” MiYu responded
“Uh?” Kwangmin wondered
“To tell you the truth, I’ve sensed that I’ve been a horrible friend. Last night, Sandeul-ssi told how lucky you were because I’m your friend but, I should be the lucky one because you’re my friend” MiYu added
“MiYu...” said Kwangmin
“You’re always there when I need you, but... when you needed me, was I there? Have I been a really good friend? Those questions... I kept asking myself those questions every time and then conclude that I am a worse friend” she said as she looked away
“U-Uh, MiYu... you know what... you’re a great friend” said Kwangmin, MiYu turned to him with a puzzled face
“I’m glad that you’re here, to tell you the truth, I was worrying if you would just leave me alone when I get sick but I guess I don’t have to worry anymore since you’re here, taking care of me. You’re here in front of me, talking to me. I’m glad that you’re here when I need you ^^ thanks” he added
“K-Kwangmin” MiYu said then Kwangmin noticed that she was starting to cry

“M-MiYu? Are you crying?” he asked then tears started to fall from MiYu’s eyes

“Y-Yah, why are you crying? Don’t cry! ” he added then MiYu gently punched him on the chest “Pabo! I’m crying because of what you said! Tch!” she proclaimed “Uh...” Kwangmin said, he smiled then hugged her “Uh?” MiYu wondered

“You really are silly, heh, you’re still the same...” he said, “U-Uh” MiYu said then she remembered the time when Kwangmin hugged her in the hospital back in High School

“Thank you MiYu! You’ve accepted my friendship, don’t worry! You can count on me! I’ll be your very best friend~”Kwangmin proclaimed while hugging her (A/N: From my other Fan fic, Melting Her Heart)

“I’m glad that you became my friend” MiYu said as she hugged him back, "Me too... MiYu... you're really percious to me ^^" Kwanmgin responded, MiYu smiled as she remembered what Minwoo said "I know" she said and Kwangmin hugged her tighter.

                When it was already 6:00 PM, “I’m home~” Youngmin said as he entered the house, then he noticed that there was no one in the living room or the kitchen and it was really quiet, “MiYu-ssi?” he said, he went upstairs to Kwangmin’s room and when he opened the door

“U-Uh” he said as he saw MiYu leaning on the wall sleeping and Kwangmin was sleeping on her lap, both of them looked really tired, he smiled at the sight and noticed the happy face that his brother was wearing

“Kwangmin... I hope you’re happy now ^^ MiYu-ssi is someone you can count on so don’t worry, she won’t leave you” Youngmin said as he remembered what Kwangmin said the other night

Flashback

“You don’t seem so happy that the guy that MiYu-ssi admires confessed to her, why is that?” asked Youngmin

“Who would be happy? I mean, I also have feelings for her but am already stuck in the friend zone!”Kwangmin proclaimed “Uh” said Youngmin “And... I’m also scared” Kwangmin added, “Why is that?” asked Youngmin “I’m afraid that if MiYu says ‘yes’ to Jinyoung-ssi, I’m scared that she might leave me... forget about our friendship” Kwangmin responded “Kwangmin...you shouldn’t say that” said Youngmin “I know but... I can’t help it, I can’t make it disappear in my thoughts” Kwangmin responded “Uhh...” said Youngmin

“I assure you Kwangmin, even though MiYu-ssi will end up with someone else, she will still love you more than you love her” Youngmin said then he closed the door and went downstairs to prepare dinner.

Two days later, “AAAAAH~ Valentine’s Day is almost coming, I guess it will be another lonely year for me TT^TT” Minwoo cried, “Heh, don’t worry, I’m here to accompany you” Kwangmin added. “Hmm... MiYu, you and Jinyoung-ssi will probably go on a date huh” Minwoo said as he turned to MiYu “Nope” MiYu responded “Eh!?” both Minwoo and Kwangmin exclaimed “Why!?” Minwoo added, “First of all, Jinyoung-ssi and I aren’t dating so why should I celebrate Valentine’s Day with him? And second... Kwangmin and I have to duty on that day since we have to interview 4 idol groups on their fan meetings (=_=)” MiYu responded “Oh that’s right...” Kwangmin said as he remembered that they actually have a schedule on Valentine’s Day “Well, at least we’ll be together ^^” he said in his thoughts

“But you’ll make chocolates for me right?” Minwoo asked as he was bugging MiYu while she was doing her work, “Yeah, sure whatever” she responded “YAAY! MiYu will give me chocolates on Valentine’s Day!” Minwoo beamed, “Heh” MiYu said and Kwangmin rolled his eyes.

During lunch time, “You’re not eating lunch with him?” Kwangmin asked as he and MiYu went to the cafeteria together, “He’s busy so he can’t go out to lunch” MiYu responded “I see” said Kwangmin, suddenly

RING RING, MiYu’s phone rang “Excuse me” she said as she decided to answer the call

*Phone Convo*

MiYu: Hello?
Jinyoung: Hey
MiYu: Uh, Jinyoung-ssi
Jinyoung: How are you? Sorry, I couldn’t make it to lunch today
MiYu: It’s okay, uh, why did you call?
Jinyoung: Well, it’s almost Valentine’s Day...
MiYu: yeah, and?
Jinyoung: Well, if it’s okay with you... I would like to...
MiYu: *shocked* U-Uh?
Jinyoung: Are you okay with that?
MiYu: I-I’ll try, bye *hangs up*

*END of CONVO*

                She went back to the table where Kwangmin was, “Are you okay?” Kwangmin asked as he noticed that MiYu was still in the state of shock, “I-I’m fine” MiYu replied then started eating
“Uh, okay then” Kwangmin added and he continued to eat.

While eating, MiYu was still bothered about what Jinyoung said during their conversation on the phone...

“Well, if it’s okay with you... I would like to meet up with you on Valentine’s Day and confirm your response... I mean, I know that I told you that I’ll patiently wait for your answer but somehow... I’m becoming impatient, so is it okay that this Valentine’s Day... tell me your answer?”

“He wants me to tell him my answer... on Valentine’s Day... EEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!? (=[]=)”

Author’s Note: What do you think will MiYu tell him? Last update for this weekend, I can't believe it's Monday tomorrow and we're going to have a quiz, screw this -_- Well, I hope you guys enjoyed this Chapter!
