Chapter Thirty Eight

When MiYu arrived at the company building, instead of going to her office she went straight to Minji’s office and entered it without even knocking

“What the heck is going on?” she asked as she entered and Minji was surprised to see her “MiYu? You’re here early? Your photo shoot will start at around 9:30 right?” Minji responded but then “Unni, a while ago I watched the morning news and was surprised to see Jo Kwangmin on TV. Tell me, what’s going on?” said MiYu “Uh? So you saw it too huh” said Minji then she looked away “Unni, I’m sure that you’re pretty much aware of the business world and also I’m also sure that you know why Kwangmin was on the news just a while ago so will you please tell me what exactly is going on?” MiYu asked

Minji sighed and said “Fine, I’ll tell you this for now… Jo Kwangmin is the successor of J Company” “J Company? I’ve never heard of…” “It wasn’t part of the top 10 before but they were still striving hard to climb up to the top and ever since Kwangmin became the successor, they were able to climb the 2^nd place after our company” Minji added

“Wait but how? I mean why Kwangmin?” MiYu was still confused because she wasn’t so sure of what was really happening “MiYu, Kwangmin didn’t mention anything to you about his family background right? Even though you’ve been friends for a long time already?” Minji asked, she thought about it and realized that her sister was right. Even though they’ve been friends for a long time already, she didn’t recall Kwangmin mentioning about his family, she was even surprised when she found out about Youngmin “(# -___-) That Kwangmin… when I see him again I’m definitely going to hit him” she mumbled as she clenched her fists “Even if you see him again I’m not so sure if you could still act too friendly with him” said Minji “Why?” MiYu asked

“He’s already recognized as the successor of J Company therefore he cannot be seen fooling around and stuff” Minji replied “So you’re saying that when I meet him again he’ll be this serious adult already?” MiYu questioned and Minji nodded her head “Heh, then I’ll definitely beat the crap out of him!” MiYu proclaimed then she left Minji’s office

Minji sighed and said to herself “She still doesn’t get it” then she realized something “Ah, I forgot to tell her about her engagement to… nah… never mind, she’ll just have to find it out for herself”

MiYu’s POV:

I can’t believe it… Kwangmin? Successor of a company? Tch, I was really stupid to think that we were actually best friends… I mean why the heck didn’t he mention to me about his family background!? (=[]=) but if I said that to him he would definitely say ‘because you didn’t ask’ and that would make me feel like a selfish friend… tch… but still it’s so unfair that I had to find it out all by myself and it really makes me mad! UGH!

When I see that moron again I’ll definitely beat him up and if he turns into a boring adult just like what unni said then I’ll beat him up even more, pssssh. This whole thing just pisses me off

*then she remembered what Youngmin said before about Kwangmin*

‘I also haven’t heard any news from him, whenever I would try to contact one of my father’s secretaries they would say that Kwangmin is still busy with things and such thus for the past three months, I also haven’t heard of him’

What the heck was Kwangmin doing for these past few months that even his twin didn’t even had a chance to talk to him? Could it be that he was actually busy with things regarding to J Company and such? UGGGH! Just thinking about companies and business hurts my head, seriously…

MiYu arrived at her office and saw Minki preparing his things “Uh? Noona, you’re early?” Minki wondered “Yeah, I had something to discuss with sis” MiYu responded “Hmm, I see” Minki said. When it was 9:30 they left for their photo shoot, meanwhile in B1A4’s case…

“Hey Channie, MiYu was in a hurry a while ago right? Did something happen?” Baro asked “Uh… well that” Gongchan said and after telling them what happened “EH? KWANGMIN WAS ON THE NEWS!?” they proclaimed “DID HE KILL SOMEBODY OR SOMETHING?” Sandeul added and they turned to him with straight faces “Like I said… he was in the news because of J Company or something NOT because he killed someone (-_-)” said Gongchan and Sandeul kept quiet

“I wonder how she’s doing right now?” CNU asked then Jinyoung just had an idea “Channie, can I talk to you for a while?” he said “Uh?” Gongchan wondered.

During the photo shoot, Minki noticed something different about MiYu while she was taking pictures…

“What’s wrong with noona today? She’s not enjoying at all” he said to himself as he noticed the look on MiYu’s face was different. During their break “Here you go noona” he said as he gave her bottled water “Thanks” she thanked him and drank the water then “Noona, are you feeling well today?” Minki asked and MiYu nodded her head “What makes you say that I don’t feel well at all?” she added “Uh… never mind” said Minki

After that, they continued with the photo shoot. When they got back to the company building, they were surprised to see Gongchan right in front of the building “Uh?” they wondered. MiYu called him “Brat!” then went near him “You’re finally back” he said as he walked towards her “What do you want this time? (-_-)” said Minki “Heh, sorry but I’m not here for you but for her” Gongchan said then he turned to MiYu

“What do you want?” she asked “You’re free the whole afternoon right?” he asked “Yeah? Why? Don’t tell me you want to slack off or something?” she responded “No, in fact we’re heading off to an orphanage this afternoon to feed the kids there” he said “Oh, that’s nice of you guys to do that” said MiYu “And Jinyoung hyung told me to bring you along” he added “Eh?”

                At the orphanage…

“MiYu, I’m glad you came!” Jinyoung beamed “Uh? Yeah… I was free in the afternoon anyway” she said and Jinyoung smiled at her. Moments later, they started the program and B1A4 performed right in front of the kids, MiYu watched them on the side then she noticed the kids’ smiling faces and it made her smile as well.

Moments later, the short program started and B1A4 performed first and after that the emcee announced the order of events. Most of the events are games and all of them were so excited, they started with the first game and divided the teams into 5. The members are the leaders and since they didn’t want to exclude MiYu, they let her enter and as planned, she was on Gongchan’s team.

They started with the first game and Jinyoung’s team won. On the next game, CNU’s team won, on the next game Baro’s team won then Sandeul’s team won as well and Gongchan was starting to get a bit pissed

“What the heck? We haven’t won a single game” he whined “Relax, at least the kids are having fun” said MiYu. Gongchan looked at the kids’ faces and they were happy, he smiled and said “Yeah”

“Alright, the next game the 3 legged race, please pick two representatives from your team!” the emcee announced “I want to pair up with hyung!” a little boy proclaimed “Eh? But if you fall down you might get hurt” said MiYu “It’s okay, I’m a tough guy!” the little boy beamed “But-” “Okay, then we’ll be a pair” said Gongchan “Hey, what if he falls down and gets hurt!?” said MiYu “Like he said, he’s a tough guy plus he seems determined to really join this race so let him be and don’t worry, we’ll win this one for sure!” he responded, MiYu sighed and said “Fine” then the boy and Gongchan got ready. Moments later, the race started and CNU’s team was on the lead but then Gongchan and the little boy’s speed increased and they were in the lead and moments later, they finished the race first and everyone in their team cheered

“WAAAH! We won!” the boy cheered and Gongchan lifted him up and twirled him and cheered “Yeah we did!” suddenly, MiYu jumped on him and cheered “We won!!” but then they blushed when they realized that their faces were near each other and they looked like a married couple with a kid “S-Sorry about that” MiYu apologized as she was about to get up but then Gongchan pulled her towards him and hugged her and she was surprised “Yup, told you we’ll win this one” he said in between the hug and MiYu blushed even more

“Oi, look at those two all getting lovey-dovey in front of a kid” said Baro then the other kids from Gongchan’s team went near them and hugged them as well. “How cute, they look like a married couple don’t you think hyung?” Sandeul asked as he turned to Jinyoung, he smiled and replied “Yeah” then the emcee announced that it was time for them to eat

The guys and MiYu started to distribute the food and the kids began eating. Gongchan decided to sit on the bench and eat his food while his hyungs were with the kids then “What’s with you eating all by yourself?” MiYu said as she sat next to him “Uh? The other kids are playing hide and seek and if I join them, I’d get discovered easily” he responded “Yeah, you seem like the type who easily gets found. I mean, even though you’re the youngest you’re taller than your hyungs” said MiYu “I didn’t mean it that way, even though I’m tall I can still hide myself” said Gongchan “Then are you saying that you at that game then?” MiYu asked and Gongchan turned to her and raised his brow “What? For your information, I’m good at playing hide and seek!” he beamed suddenly

“Then why don’t we all play hide and seek?” Jinyoung suggested and the two turned to him “Well? Shall we?” he added and the two had grinned.
Moments later, they decided to play a little game of hide-and-seek themselves and the rules were the person who gets to be found first will be facing a consequence given by the one who found him/her and after that he/she gets to be the seeker.

The first one to seek was CNU and when he started counting, the others began to hide. While MiYu was looking for a place, she suddenly bumped into Jinyoung

“Uh? Looks like we’ll have to share the same hiding place ^^” he said “Y-Yeah…” MiYu responded. Both of them decided to hide under the small bridge “MiYu, you should hide more in the shadow part so that CNU won’t see you” he said “Eh? What about you?” MiYu asked “Don’t worry about me, oppa’s good at hiding ^^” said Jinyoung “(^_^ ;) I-I see” said MiYu.

They stayed under the bridge for a while then they heard some footsteps right on top of them “Shh” Jinyoung whispered and MiYu nodded her head. Both of them stayed quiet until the footsteps were gone “Whew, that was a close call” he said “Yeah” she agreed then the two of them noticed that they were close to each other, MiYu suddenly moved away “Hmm? What are you doing?” Jinyoung said with a smile on his face as he patted her on the head “S-Sorry, it just feels awkward” she said “That you’re with the guy whom you rejected? Haha, don’t worry about it and besides, I told you that I’ll be like a big brother to you” he said and MiYu just kept quiet. He stopped patting her then looked away “Hey, do you like Channie?” he suddenly asked and MiYu went (O///O)

“W-Wait a minute, why are you suddenly asking me that-” “Answer me. Do you like him? I mean, even just as a friend, do you like him?” he asked again. MiYu was hesitating if she should answer or not but… “Yeah… I guess so” she said as she felt shy. Jinyoung smiled and said “That’s good to hear” “Huh?” she wondered suddenly

“Ah! Jung Jinyoung, I found you!” CNU beamed “Ah, no good. I have to run fast, see ya later MiYu~” Jinyoung said as he started to run and MiYu stepped towards the shadow parts so CNU won’t see her.

                Jinyoung was caught and CNU made him dance like a pigeon while singing and after that, it was his turn to look for the others. MiYu was still looking for a hiding place when suddenly someone grabbed her from behind the bushes, she turned around and was shocked to see Gongchan “You’re in my way, if hyung finds you then he’ll find me too!” he said “Uh? Tch, brat” said MiYu. Gongchan rolled his eyes then he grabbed her hand and started to drag her somewhere “H-Hey, where are we going?” she asked “We’re going to find someplace else to hide since hyung might easily find us here” he replied “Eh? Why do you have to bring me?” she asked “Do you want Jinyoung hyung to give you a consequence?” Gongchan asked, MiYu thought about it for a while then she agreed to go with him.

They moved to another hiding place which was behind a small cottage and behind the cottage. It seemed like a good hiding place and the two of them decided to sit down apart from each other. There was an awkward silence between them then…

“So… what did you and hyung talk about a while ago?” Gongchan asked “Huh?” she responded “You and hyung were hiding under the bridge right? I saw you…” he said
“Wait… he saw us? Then was he able to hear that we were talking about him?” MiYu asked herself
“You and hyung seemed to be talking about something serious, maybe it was about Chun Hei noona or something” he added
“Oh, he doesn’t know” MiYu said to herself “No, it wasn’t about Chun Hei, it was about something else” said MiYu “Oh, okay then” he said then he kept quiet
“Uh? What’s wrong with this brat? He seems to be acting different” she said to herself. Suddenly, they heard some footsteps coming their way “Gongchan Shik!” they heard Jinyoung’s voice “Shoot. I think hyung might find us, let’s go” Gongchan said as he grabbed MiYu’s arm and started to walk away quietly but then MiYu accidentally tripped and both of them fell behind the bushes

“Ouch…” they cried “Are you okay?” Gongchan asked but then “I think I see someone over here~” they heard Jinyoung coming their way, “Shoot, he’s going to find us” said MiYu but then Gongchan suddenly stood up and showed himself

“You found me first” he said and Jinyoung just smirked as he saw MiYu behind the bushes quietly hiding. After that round ended, it was time for Gongchan’s consequence

“Okay, I’ve decided!” Jinyoung proclaimed “I wonder what hyung wants our Channie to do?” Baro whispered to Sandeul “Channie, you… should tell everyone how you feel about MiYu” he said and all of them were surprised and MiYu went O_O

Gongchan was turning red and was shocked of the consequence “W-What the… hyung, what are you talking about?!” he proclaimed “Hold on, I didn’t say that you should confess to her I mean, just tell everyone what you think about her” said Jinyoung “Uh?” the others wondered. Gongchan sighed and he hid his embarrassed face then he turned to the others, he glanced at MiYu but then turned away and said

“Park MiYu is a klutz and she’s the most idiotic girl I’ve ever met…” he said “This brat… is he insulting me? (=__=)” MiYu murmured “But… she’s also kind and she treats me differently than the other girls so I guess I can say is that… she’s okay” he said while slightly blushing

“Oi, what do you mean by ‘okay’? I’m pissed right now (-____-)” said MiYu “MiYu, what he means is that he likes you” said Sandeul “Eh?” she turned to Gongchan again and noticed that his face was really red already “U-Uh” she turned away and blushed “Ohohoho, so this is how things are huh? Well at least we’re having fun, let’s play again!” Baro beamed and they continued to play.

After playing and having fun with the kids as well, B1A4 performed a closing song and after that, they all went home. On the way home, the guys were talking about what happened on that afternoon “It sure was a  fun day wasn’t it?” CNU asked “Yup. I felt like I was a kid again!” Baro beamed “I also missed being a kid, I always get tired after playing with my friends” said Sandeul “Looks like those two are also tired from playing around” said Jinyoung, they looked at the back and saw MiYu and Gongchan sleeping peacefully and MiYu was leaning on Gongchan’s shoulder

“MiYu seemed pretty shocked this morning but I’m glad that she ended the day with a smile on her face” said CNU “What can we say? She had fun playing with us and especially with Channie” said Sandeul and the others nodded their heads “Hey, if we took a picture of them what do you think will their reaction be if they saw the photo?” Baro asked “I would like to know as well” said Sandeul and the two started to take pictures of them while the hyungs just laughed

“Hey Jinyoung…” CNU said “Yeah?” Jinyoung responded “I don’t know why but I’m kind of worried about MiYu for next few weeks” said CNU “Same here… I feel like something’s going to happen to her” said Jinyoung.

                 A week later, “Sorry I arrived late again Minki, I’ve been having trouble with my sleep” MiYu said as she entered their office “It’s okay noona, have you been dreaming about the same dream again?” Minki asked “Yup. I kept dreaming about Kwangmin and all and somehow, my dream would end up in a bad way and it would turn out to be a nightmare” she replied

“Eh? Maybe it’s a sign” said Minki “Sign? About what? something bad happening to me or Kwangmin?” MiYu asked “I don’t know” said Minki then

“Park MiYu, please report to the president’s office” Minji’s secretary announced “Uh, I just got here and she wants me to go to her office, okay then” MiYu murmured as she left. When she was already gone, Minki sighed and said “I hope she won’t be that shocked”

MiYu arrived at her sister’s office still murmuring and when she sat down “Hey unni, don’t you know how tired I am? I’ve been having the same nightmare all over again and the ending is still bad, either something bad will happen to me or Kwangmin and I-”
“You’ve been dreaming about me?”
“Huh… no, I’ve been dreaming about Kwang…” but when MiYu turned to her sister’s desk, the first person she saw wasn’t her sister, instead it was…

“K-Kwangmin?” she said, Kwangmin let out a huge smile and said “Hey MiYu, did you miss me?”

Author's Note: Hey people, how are you? Did you miss me? Lol XD anyway~ I'm sorry for the VERY as in VERY late update and for a SHORT one as well : ( I've been busy ever since school started and I'm not sure if I'll be able to update fast just like before but I will tell you that I will DEFINITELY finish this story so I hope you guys will be patient with me and continue to support this story ^^
