I go to take Chloe home after she visits Taemin. I take a detour to the park. “What are we doing here?” she asks me sounding suspicious. “I just want to spend some time with you before you disappear into your books.” I say in the calmest voice I can. My heart is pounding. I park the car and we go over to the swings where we usually spend our time. I push her and sit in front of her again. “Why don’t you ever swing with me?” she asks me. “I like activities where my feet stay safely on the ground.” I tell her. “I am afraid of heights. I know the swing doesn’t go that high but I just really hate being out of control of where my body is.” I tell her a little embarassed. “I am always learning new things about you.” She says to me with a smile. I take a deep breath and take this as my chance. “So you want to know something else?” I can hear my heart beating in my ears. “Yes” she says jumping off the swing and over my head again. That really freaks me out. “You remember that girl I was talking about last time?” I hope she can't tell how nervous I am. “Yes…” She replies urging me on. “Well I finally got the courage to bring her here.” I tell her not making eye contact. “And…?” she isn't getting it I don't think I can say it our right. “I am going to tell her now…” There is a long pause I am waiting for her to catch on but she doesn’t. She is sitting next to me now and I turn to her. “Chloe… What do you think of me?” My heart drops. What was that? That sounded so lame there is no way she will go for me now. “I really love spending time with you.” She still doesn’t get it I know I will have to just say it. “Chloe I like you. Like a lot. More than I have every like someone before. I don’t know if you feel the same and I don’t expect you to but I wanted you to know. I will stop talking now because I am making a fool of myself.” I go to get up but I am pulled back down. “Kim Kibum where do you think you are going?” I am to startled to answer. What happens next takes me by even more surprise. She is kissing me. This can’t be happening right now. She likes me too? No way! I am dreaming. I have to be dreaming. I pinch myself and realize that this is reall. I lean into the kiss, and kiss her back. When we pull away it feels like it was to short. I know she has to study but I don’t want to leave her. “I should take you home now.” I say. We stand up and I grab her hand and we walk back to the car. When we get to the house we sit in silence for a few minutes. I know that tomorrow we have one of our last practices and I need to get some sleep tonight. “Good luck with your studies.” I say and turn toward her. She looks almost sad. “Are you ok?” I ask hopeing she is not mad at me. “Yea I just don’t want to leave you. Do you think you could stay and help me study for a bit?” I want to stay so bad but I have to sleep practice is going to be hard. I know that Taemin and Jonghyun wont be able to focus much tomorrow so I want to be focused. “I really want to but I can’t I need to sleep practice is going to be brutal tomorrow.” She puts her hand on the handle to get out and I grab her other hand. She turns to me and I kiss her one last time for the night. Once she is inside I drive away. I make it to the dorm and go to my room. Jinki asks me what happened I just brush him off and get in bed. I fall right to sleep. Chloe really does have a calming effect on me. I was right about practice they are working us so hard. When we work on the choreography for Love Sick we have to do it over and over. I am really good at remembering things but when I have to rework my memory it isn’t the easiest thing. Love Sick is the sequel to our debut song Replay so we are redoing the choreography. We run it what feels like 1000 times. Taemin looks like he is about to pass out and Jjong is worried. Onew is in the zone so he keeping up nicely. Minho is keeping up as well. When we are dismissed I go get my phone and text Chloe. I tell her that I am super exhausted but I still want to see her. I head strait over to the Lee’s house. When she answers the door it is with water in hand. She hands it to me “I don’t want you to get dehydrated.” We go down stairs I collapse on the couch. She comes and puts my head on her lap. At some point I fall asleep. I wake up to her gentle touch on my lips. She was tracing my face. “What time is it?” I ask in a daze. “It is about 2am.” Wow I slept for 2 hours. I let her keep tracing my face. “What is your favorite color?” I ask out of general curiosity. “Blue. Not like your regular dark blue more of a bright aqua blueish green.” I open my eyes to look at her and see if she is kidding. She looks pretty serious. “That is SHINee’s fandom color.” I say seeing if she already knew. “Really?” She says with genuine surprise. “I guess I was meant to meet SHINee after all.” She laughs and it is so beautiful. I could stay like this forever. Suddenly I remember that our comeback stage will be tomorrow. We all call it our comeback stage but it is also the start of our 4th SHINee World Concert. “Chloe would you like to watch your awesome oppa on stage tomorrow? You can be right up close so maybe he can make eye contact and wink at you.” “Yeah that sounds awesome I would love to see Minho up that close and have him wink at me.” She says with a bright smile. “Wow... never mind I will give the last ticket to Bam Bam he has been asking to come watch me.” She looks at me and laughs “I would love to come watch you.” She is just so cute. I look at the time again it is now 6am. I tell Chloe I need to get back to the dorm because we are supposed to meet our managers there at 8. When I get back to the dorm I go and get ready for the day then I go and sit at the table. There is still about an hour before we are supposed to meet with our managers and Taemin walks out of his room. “Good morning Tae.” “Hey hyung.” His voice sounds weird. “You ok Tae? You feeling any better?” I ask worried. “Yeah I am good. I just wanted to talk to you about something.” he says in a sad tone. “What is it?” What could Tae have to talk to me about? “Hyung you know Jonghyun and I are serious right?” I take a second to answer. “ Tae if you are going to ask for relationship advice I don’t believe I am the one to talk to.” I tell him. “Its not that I just… well you and Jjong are always so touchy on stage and I know it is fan service but I just… could you lay off a bit. Maybe if you do the fans will start shipping JongTae more.” I can’t help but laugh at this. I know Taemin is being serious but it is just to funny. “Don’t laugh hyung I am serious.” “I know Tae I can do that for you. Besides I don’t know how much Chloe will like her boyfriend all over some other guy.” I say still laughing. “You guys are a thing now? When did that happen?” he asks eagerly “The day before yesterday. After we left the hospital.” I say as if its no big deal. “Did you tell Minho?” he asks still in shock. “Of course I told Minho.” I say with a giggle. “Told me what?” Minho asks walking in to the room. “About Chloe and I being a thing.” I tell Minho. “They sent me a couple selfie right after it happened.” Minho says showing Tae his phone. “Now I am the only lonely one in this dorm. Do you think Jonghyun would be up for a three some?” Tae and I both look at him. “I was kidding guys.” he says rolling his eyes at us. “Well don’t even think of asking me to share Chloe. She is already teasing me with the fact that she liked you first.” I tell him and he looks at me surprised. “She liked me first?” he says suprised. “She liked Kang Tae Joon not you.” I tell him and he laughs. “Yea she really loved that drama.” He says as he turns to go get some food. “Last night I invited her to our concert and she said she would love to come watch Minho.” I laugh remembering the moment. She is such a tease. We eat and our managers show up and discuss some of the final details of the concert. We are preforming 3 nights in a row and after the last show we are going to go on Jonghyun’s radio show. For the first time his show will be in the video studio. We head out to practice on the stage today and run the concert over and over. They tell Minho that during Dynamite he will rip off his shirt and then perform Everybody completely without a shirt on. He seems ok with this idea. I on the other hand can only think of Chloe looking at a shirtless Minho. After we practice we are sent home. I would like to go back to Chloe’s but we all need a good night sleep before the concert tomorrow. I text her and tell her goodnight and I can’t wait to see her tomorrow. When we wake up it is 4am we head out right away. We run the show 2 more times before we go and get wardrobe final touches. After we go to hair and makeup. We get all hooked up with our sound system and run the full concert again. It is now around 3pm now. There is a huge crowd of Shawols out side. We get to rest and eat a bit until the concert starts. When I get the chance I go out to find the exact seat where Chloe will be so I can find her. When the concert starts I am so nervous. We start with Replay. After that it goes by in a flash and Onew, Jonghyun and I end up crying in the end. When we head backstage Taemin starts comforting Jonghyun I’m still crying and Minho is just jumping around like a idiot. Onew has of course run off to find Ailee. I just come to the realization that I can now do that I also have a girlfriend. Wow that is weird I Kim Kibum have a girlfriend. An American girlfriend. A beautiful stunning unbelievably amazing just by chance that we met girlfriend and she is all mine and she just watched me on stage with my 4 best friends singing and dancing to our songs. Now I will go find her and we will spend the rest of the night with each other talking and laughing and messing around I might even steal a few kisses before we say good night because that is what couples do and we are a couple. I find Chloe with a huge smile on her face. “Hey oppa you were amazing are you hungry do you want to go get some food are you tired we can just go back to the Lee’s and sleep if you want. What do you want to do? Tonight is your night its all up to you my amazing boyfriend.” She says with out taking a breath. I just answer her with a simple yes and we go to find some food first after that we go back to the dorm because it is late and we did not want to wake the Lee’s we walk in to the dorm and Jonghyun and Tae did not even make it to their room they are both shirtless asleep on the couch. I wonder where Minho is at because he is not here. I know where Onew is so I’m not afraid to have Chloe come to my room. We sit on the bed and I steal a kiss form her we talk about stupid stuff as we lay in my bed and I play with her hair. At one point things escalate and we end up just making out for a long time. Then her comfortable side comes out and she informs me that she has to pee. When she comes back she just keeps telling me about how amazing the concert was and how she was so happy to be able to come. She rambles on about how she is so happy that she met SHINee not because we are famous but because we are just genuinely good people and amazing friends. Her voice starts to have that calming affect on me again and I’m guessing just being with me is doing the same to her because we both fall asleep about the same time.
