We walk out to into the elevator awkwardly.  We exchange glances every once in a while but do not speak.  He is in his training clothes and I am still in the same clothes I wore when we had dinner. 

…

“I’m glad it was you,” he finally says.

I look at him confused. “Why do you say that?” I ask.

“I hate speaking English. I was never good at it.” He bluntly says.

“Jinjja?” I ask.

“Yeh…” he replies.

We become silent again.

…

“We can speak comfortably then, right?” he asks.

I look at him shocked.

“To be honest, at first I was really uncomfortable with doing this American fan meet.  I try to avoid it because of my English,” he explains.

“I understand,” I say as I nod my head.

“So can we speak comfortably?” he asks again.

“Yeh,” I reply blushing. ‘What is wrong with me?’ I think to myself.

…

We finally make it to the bottom floor.  The floor in which the dance studio is in.  We walk in and he is immediately greeted by the dancers.  I stand there awkwardly.

“Who is she?” one of the dancers ask.

“She is someone from this fan program I am doing.  She will be sticking around for my practice,” he replies.

“Oh…well then let’s go practice,” the dancer says as he puts his arm around Kim Hyun Joong and pushes him forward.

Kim Hyun Joong gestures me to take a seat.  I do as he says.

“Hyung, she is kind of cute,” the dancer whispers.

Kim Hyun Joong releases a slight smile, “shhh! She might hear you…”

“Let her hear me!” he says loudly.

Kim Hyun Joong instantly shoves him.

“Hyung! You don’t have to be that sensitive,” the dancer teases.

  They then both look at me.

…

Although confused, I give them an awkward smile in return.
