“I’m sorry,” Mark apologized after kissing my cheek. “I’m sorry about everything I just said.” I just stare at him. “But what frustrates me is that you only listen, you don’t look.”

“Yes, I said you’re gross but...” He pauses, “okay, I can’t defend myself on that but... I’m trying to say.” He again pauses scratching his head whilst his eyes are on the ground. “I’m not trying to say anything; I’m trying to tell you... No,” he looks up staring into my eyes.
