Two tall men with their hoods down covering their faces walked along the thick forests calmly as they scanned the area around. One male was wearing a dark blue jacket with his hood pulled down, while the other was wearing a dark brown cloak; a cloth that the former had but refused to wear for its undeniably out of date fashion. The one wearing the dark coloured cloak that contrasted much with his pale milky complexion shut his eyes as he sniffed the area.

‘Have you found it?’ another male with tan skin  asked lazily. His hands were in the pocket, located at the middle of his jacket.

The one who was assigned with the power of wind turned himself around and walked wordlessly to somewhere only he knew. Having been expecting the silent treatment from the other, the tan male followed after him and ended in a shallow river but yet flowing deadly fast.

‘There it is,’ the pale male nudged his head to a certain place and walked towards a big rock. On top of it, laid a log which fascinatingly shaped like a wolf.

It was a wolf.

A dead one if I might add.

‘It’s a werewolf, isn’t it?’ the tan male asked once he was beside the pale one, looking over the dead wolf.

The pale male nodded and glanced up. ‘Looks like he fell off the cliff.’

‘That’s weird,’ the tan one tilted his head. ‘The fog isn’t all that thick, and werewolves should sense what coming miles ahead of them are.’

‘They should,’ the pale male silently agreed. He crouched down and took the scent of the dead wolf. He stood up with a gentle frown on his face. ‘We should report this to the Head.’

The tan one twisted his lips. ‘This time, which clan was that wolf from?’

The wind user inwardly sighed before he finally answered. ‘Mine.’

‘Oooh, you got betrayers from your own clan working under Phinx,’ the tan male smirked as he snickered.

If the pale one was annoyed with the tan's remark, he didn't show it.Instead, he shut his eyes. With a little effort, he sent a gentle breeze across the forest for any suspicious presence. He inhaled the scent of the wet grass, the earth dirt, the sweet rosemary with a little bit of lavender that somehow made him craved for more-

The pale male immediately opened his eyes. That scent…

He quickly dashed into his soft brownish wolf form and ran up the hill, following the scent. He ignored the protests from the other male who demanded for some explanation before he too, changed into his black wolf form and chased after the pale one.

As the soft brownish wolf ran, he couldn’t help but to think if the scent was really whom he had thought to be; his mate. He arrived at the spot where he could still sniff the faint lingering scent of his mate but saw no one. Not even a soul.

His ears perked downwards before he changed back to his human form. His straight soft brown hair tousled around as the wind blew a bit harshly, just like how his feelings were right now. He couldn’t help but to feel disappointed for not being able to find his mate when she was just near him. An almost inaudible sound of thud cracked in the air.

‘Where were you going?’ the tan male asked in annoyance. It was obvious he was too lazy to run when he could just use his power to reach the destination.

‘…Nowhere,’ the pale male answered, hiding the truth. ‘Let’s head back.’

The pale male touched the tan male almost reluctantly as he only connected his index finger to the tan male’s arm. The tan male scoffed. In a matter of less than a second, both of them vanished in the air, leaving no trace of them ever being there.

‘EXO to Yoonjung!’ Sulli snapped her fingers together.

Yoonjung looked up in surprised; her hand dropped the pencil she was twirling around. ‘W-What?!’

Sulli spun her chair around and settled herself in front of Yoonjung. ‘You’ve been daydreaming a lot these days.’

Krystal looked over in interest. Minho and Key both were doing their own activities; one was talking about sports with his friends, while the other was doing his best absolute perfect to finish his yesterday's schoolwork that should be submitted today.

‘I did?I mean, no I didn’t!’ Yoonjung defended herself, though she didn’t know why she was worked out. Probably because it was true; thinking back now, she felt it was oddly strange. It had been days since that incident and somehow, almost every day, there would be those greedy wolves hunting for her core. It was to the point where she felt it was not safe anymore for her to live like a normal werewolf. 

‘I don’t know what you’re thinking about but,’ Sulli crossed her arms, ‘let’s go to the mall tomorrow since it's weekends. Take your thoughts out from your head and refresh it by shopping!’she squealed excited.

‘Oh God, I think I’m going to suffer,’ Yoonjung shook her head in defeat. Krystal giggled as she continued to read her book.

‘Omo!Kyeopta!’ Sulli pointed to one of the dresses displayed by the doll. It was bright soft pink in colour with few laces attached around the waist.

‘Anything pink is cute to you,’ Yoonjung chortled when Sulli made a failed attempt of glaring at her.

‘I hate you,’ she squeaked.

‘I love you too,’ Yoonjung cooed but it soon trailed as she looked over to where Krystal was looking.

‘What’cha looking at, Krystal?’

Krystal pointed to several stores ahead of them. ‘El.D students.’

‘What?’Sulli took an immediate interest and watched as the groups of teenagers were making jokes with each other. They were 3 boys and 4 girls in total.

‘How do you know they are?’Yoonjung asked dumbly.

‘Because one of them wore the school’s sweater,’Krystal pointed out to one girl who was wearing the school’s sweater. The emblem of the school was proudly attached on the left chest side of the sweater. ‘And because it’s the weekend of the third week in the month. They get to come out of the school around that time.’

They were still a few meters apart but the trio could feel the aura radiated from the group of teenagers. People that passed by the teenagers would stared at them in awe.

‘They’re so cool!’Sulli squealed dreamily.

‘And loves to show off,’ Yoonjung added silently. ‘Let’s go. I’m hungry.’

They went to the famous burger outlet and ordered the oily fats food (or so that’s what Krystal called). Sulli ordered a fillet fish burger, Krystal ordered a set of salad while Yoonjung ordered barbeque chicken burger. They chatted animatedly about all stuff, the homework, the newest fashion and the princes of El Dorado Academy (courtesy to Sulli). Once they finished their food, they went back to their shopping (mostly window shopping) with their unfinished drinks on their hands.

‘I bet they’re ugly,’ Yoonjung chortled, coughing a little as she choked on her own drink.

‘That’s the punishment for talking about the princes, Yoonjung. I bet they are all super-duper handsome!’Sulli sighed dreamily. ‘Too bad I won’t be seeing their faces until I die.’

Krystal laughed. ‘Hey, at least you don’t have to worry about getting jealous by the girls,okay? I bet whoever gets to be the princes’ mates will get envy from all over the world.’

‘It’s bad enough to be one prince’s mate, what if, the girl gets to become the whole 12 princes’ mate?’ Yoonjung and the other two laughed their heads off, thoug
