Cut!

“It’s good.”

Eunhyuk, Siwon and Kyuhyun simultaneously lay on the floor as Donghae smiled shortly at the staff who were cheering them for their hardwork. “One last shot. Prepare for the next set!” The director shouted excitedly at his staff. Lotte World. The magical place where every Kpopper think is so magical just because almost all the top idols were promoting it. Super Junior has begun to shoot for their 3rd music video. The other members were in different locations such as the busy streets of Gangnam and the Imperial Palace. The four of them were shooting some parts of the mv in the Lotte amusement park. The scene was simple. Just them having fun. Simple, isn’t it?

The director and staff were so delighted that it was so easy to shoot them making fun and bantering around. It was easy to capture their laughs and smiles. But for Eunhyuk, Siwon and Kyuhyun . . . They knew that they failed to see the wretchedness in their friend’s eyes.

They wanted to ask him what on Earth happened. It was like the world turned upside down in a matter of split second along with his happy mood. A week ago, he entered the dorm looking like a princess who got a kiss from her prince charming. And then two days ago, he showed up looking like Will Smith in I Am Legend who just lost his dog and was contemplating in life how the was he the only human left on Earth.

But they didn’t ask him anything for they respect his silence in times like this.

Eunhyuk groaned in irritation as he stared at his cellphone.

“Wae?” asked Siwon.

“I promised IU that I would eat lunch with her.” The anchovy pouted while sending a message to his girlfriend.

“So?” Kyuhyun rolled his eyes at the clinginess of the guy beside him.

“Aish!” Eunhyuk messed his hair in frustration. “It’s already 1 pm! I thought we could finish this earlier since we started at like 8 in the morning.”

“You’re not gonna starve your girlfriend to death and make her wait for god knows how many hours more, aren’t you?” Kyuhyun told him dryly.

Eunhyuk glared at their evil maknae. “I already told her to just eat without me and we’ll just have dinner later! So, shut up!”

“I’m hungry.” Siwon suddenly told them.

“So?” The two asked.

Siwon had been eyeing the fish who was simply sitting beside him and completely spacing as he looked at his own reflection on the floor. “Let’s go and grab something.” He pushed Donghae to stand and he obliged even though he had no idea why he was doing so. He really wasn’t listening nor hearing any of s’ words. His mind was fully occupied with . . . stuff.

The four dorks walked out of the set, saying they’d just roam around the place.

“Didn’t think this happy place could be really creepy.” Eunhyuk felt all his hair standing as they walked along the now secluded Lotte World. All they could hear was the sound of their footsteps as they looked at the rides and stores that were abandoned oddly but then, purposely at daytime. “It’s too . . . isolated.”

“I wonder why they closed the whole place. We only need the Gyro Drop, Bumper Car and The Haunted House for the shooting. Isn’t this too much for a music video’s privacy?” Kyuhyun suddenly thought as he studied the stores and rides they passed by. “What’s weirder is that the rides are not closed at all.” True enough. All rides and stores, as in all of them, were functioning as if they were expecting people to come and enjoy the rides. Cheerful music has been playing here and there. Food stalls were open and the scent of the foods was making their stomachs growled. But there was really nobody other than the four of them in that vast space of nice and adventurous things to try on.

“Aniyo.” Siwon shook his head at the two. Donghae was silently tailing the three from the back, head bowed down and thinking in deep thought. “I heard from the director that someone actually reserved the whole place for the day. So, it’s not weird at all.” The Suju visual moved ahead of them and stopped at the Hotdog stall and took a hotdog wrapped in bacon. He took a bite and fished some money from his pocket and left it there.

“Reservation for the whole place?” Eunhyuk asked him in disbelief. “Solma. Why would someone do that?”

“Maybe some are actually recording something here like a music video too or Running Man, maybe?” Kyuhyun said as he grabbed some nachos at the stall they passed by and left money too.

“I don’t know.” Siwon just shrugged off, enjoying his hotdog. They were passing by the Kiddie Land and were approaching the huge red slide.

“Still, it’s creeping me out.” Eunhyuk shook his head, keeping his wariness at every step. “It feels like something would just pop out of nowh- AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!”

A human figure suddenly swooshed out from the slide even before they could notice it. Eunhyuk jumped on Kyuhyun that made his nachos fell on the floor but the maknae was shocked too that he screamed with the anchovy. Siwon almost choked with his hotdog as the three clung with each other in fear. Is this a ghost?

The human figure was revealed to be a real human after all as he straightened up and looked innocently at the persons who screamed at him.

Siwon, Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun crossed their eyebrows. Their eyes looking at the person from head to toe. “Jaejoong?!”

Suddenly, another figure came out from the fishball stall, walking hesitantly. The three finally let go of each other as they realized who it was. They didn’t plan it but their heads slowly turned to their very quiet member at the back in unison.

The stuff in his mind finally disappeared, as the reason why they existed in his head in the first place was right in front of him.

Dara.

She had worked with the director during their I Love You promotions while Jaejoong was actually friends with the director. The stylists and Jaejoong were eagerly catching up with each other as the cameras kept on rolling and following every move of the drool worthy namjas winking, smiling and merely acting idiots but nevertheless cuties at every angle.

Dara was sitting quietly as she forced her eyes to roam around the area where they were shooting the last scene but her eyes would always fell on the guy dancing and smiling at her from afar. Heart! I can hear your loud beating again! Shut it! She shook her head and bowed her head down but then quickly glanced at Donghae who winked at the camera and then fixed his eyes on her as the camera left him. Their eyes met for the nth time already and as always Dara would instantly dart her gaze somewhere. She gulped as the image of Donghae kissing her just a week ago kept on playing in her mind. Not stopping even for a second. How his lips crashed hers. His very familiar warmth. His hankering taste. Dara bit her lower lip as she closed her eyes firmly. Brain. I’m gonna have to remove you too if you won’t stop. She threatened her own mind.

Donghae had been staring at her discreetly. Why is she with him? Are they? Sure enough. That stuff in his mind began tugging his heart again, stronger than it did that night he saw Jaejoong confessed to her and Dara giving him a chance. But the way she responded to our kiss. Donghae wasn’t bragging or something but he was sure that he felt it. He felt her heart beating with him. For him. Aniyo. It’s not like she’s his girlfriend yet, right? I am not one who easily gives up. Never.  Donghae was awkwardly ing his hips while squinting his eyes at Jaejoong’s direction. You want war? I’ll give you-

“Owwww!” A loud sound of heads bumping made the cameramen stopped.

“Yah Donghae! What the hell!” Eunhyuk grimaced in pain as he rubbed his forehead. Donghae suddenly whipped his head to his right when he was supposed to go left that he collided his forehead with his bestfriend’s.

The fish muttered a not so sorry word, ‘sorry’ at him. The filming had finally ended. “You guys did well.” The staff was clapping and cheering for the Super Junior. “We’ll just edit some things and- good job!” The director smiled and gave them two thumbs up.

“Deh! Kamsahamnida!” The members shouted energetically as they thanked him and the crew.

“You guys did really well. Aigoo. I can go home and sleep earlier than I expected.” The director laughed but then paused as he looked at Jaejoong on his side. “Which reminds me. Jaejoong ssi. Have you decided where your next mv will be shot? We’ll be shooting it already next week, right?” 

“Deh. It’s on next week.” Jaejoong nodded. “We haven’t really discussed but I’m thinking in a cave or a cliff or something. I don’t know, I’m busy nowadays.”

The director grinned as he glanced at the YG princess on the vampire’s side. “I see.” Jaejoong knew that look and he just shook his head at him while the Suju boys remained their pokerfaces pasted while Donghae battled that scowl forming on his face.

Jaejoong stayed on their filming site all because the director kept on asking him about the song and his ideas on the plot of his mv which will be directed by him too. Dara just nodded and smiled at Jaejoong, which pricked Donghae’s heart again, when the vampire told her if it was okay to stay for a couple of minutes because the director was asking him stuff. Later on, they discovered from the gossiping staff that it was Kim Jaejoong who managed to get and spent huge money having a full day reservation of the famous, Lotte World. Donghae immediately walked away from their gossiping mouths as they were going into the reason why he would do that.

Needless to say that Donghae knew, it was all because of Dara. His santokki.

She was more than shocked when they arrived at their supposed to be lunch date place being the Lotte World, completely reserved and well, deserted. Jaejoong just grinned at her ardent refusal that it was too much for a lunch date. Instead, he just grabbed her hand and ran to towards the rides for kids like that teacup rides and bump cars. Donghae had never done something like this for her. That’s because with Donghae, they would wear an over the top disguises and enjoy mingling with people. Like they weren’t The Lee Donghae and The Sandara Park. They were just a fish and rabbit couple who enjoy being crazy with each other. Guilt had been spreading her as she let Jaejoong poured hot sauce on her slice of pizza. How couldn’t she? Beside her was a guy who loved her and would probably give everything that she would ask and there she was, longing for a certain fish’s presence.

 “So, are you guys leaving already? You have any schedule? Activities? It’s okay. You’re free to go.” The director tapped Siwon’s shoulder and smiled. The crew started to wrap things up. “Oh Jaejoong. You guys are staying, right?” The director chuckled, feeling stupid at the obvious answer. Jaejoong had spent god knows how many millions just to have the Lotte World all day for him and Dara.

“Deh.” Jaejoong just smiled at him.

Donghae let a scowl appeared on his face this time. Jaejoong’s sappy face is undeniably pissing him.

“Are you sure it’s okay for the other staff to stay here? I mean, I know they asked your permission if they could like roam and enjoy the place for a few hours but,” Paused. “Don’t you two want to have your privacy?” He pointed at Dara and Jaejoong’s direction.

“Eh?” Dara just blinked her eyes.

“It’s okay hyung. Dara and I don’t mind. It’s better to have more people. At least, seclusion doesn’t freak her out.” Jaejoong chuckled which earned a slap on the shoulder from Dara. She just smiled awkwardly and glanced at Donghae. She had been stopping herself from thinking it because what? She’s single. She’s not committed to anyone. She can date whomever she wants. But . . . she couldn’t stop thinking what Donghae might be thinking.

Dara creased her forehead as she noticed the ferocious scowl on Donghae’s face. It looked so . . . so . . . childish. So Donghae. She couldn’t help but smile.

You’re the one who’s freaking her out. Dating in a completely abandoned place. Psycho! This is exactly the ways of rapists. I wouldn’t let you have your evil ways on her. As the time went by, the deeper the glare Donghae gave Jaejoong from the side. He maybe hurt a few days, ago, which he already moped around, but no! Not anymore! You want a battle? I’ll give you war that you would never forget. Bring out all your weapons, Kim Jaejoong. Dara is mine. Nothing and nobody can stop me from getting her back! Nobody! Nobody! Nobody!

“Donghae oppa.”

“Uh. Deh?” Donghae instantly turned to his back when a soft voice called his name. s looked back as well. Could it be their stylist? Donghae blinked his eyes at the person standing in front of him. It was a she. A ‘she’ wearing a light blue floral dress and white sandals. The soft curls of her brown hair falls perfectly at her back. Her lips smiling sweetly at him.

And then there was Donghae who had his mouth on the floor as the girl went to him and offered the lunchbox that she cooked for him.

“I miss you oppa!” And Jihyun winked at him before instructing her manager to bring the snacks she bought for the whole crew.

Eunhyuk, Siwon, Kyuhyun and Donghae formed a circle on the corner as they stood across each other. EunSiKyu knitting their brows in vexed while Donghae could just stare at the hamburger on his hand. They were frozen to their seats a while ago when they were eating together with the director, Jaejoong, Jihyun and Dara. Jaejoong had just asked them if they wanted to just stay and join them but even before they could think of a decision, Jihyun already exclaimed in excitement and announced that she and Donghae would join them. Double Date. Kyuhyun swore she heard Jihyun mutter as the girl smiled sweetly at the stunned fish and even smiled sweeter at Dara who also smiled back but deep inside . . . Her blood began boiling in hundred degrees.

“Now what?” Siwon asked as he let out a breath.

“Monkey. Tell her to go away.” The maknae said lazily, as if it was that easy to do.

“What?!” Eunhyuk looked at him incredulously. “I’m not a rude person unlike you. You tell her if you want.”

“Why would I? I have a responsible, caring and loving image to our juniors that I have to take care of.” Kyuhyun took a bite of French fries from the bucket on his hands. They came from Jihyun.

“Stupid!” Eunhyuk hissed. “Juniors only think of you as an egocentric and rude blabbering human mouth!”

“Shut up!” Kyuhyun shouted at him.

“Shut up too!” Eunhyuk didn’t back down as he finished his cheeseburger.

“Shut up you two!” Siwon glared at s. “Aish!” He messed his hair and clicked his tongue. “This is bad. Really bad.”

Donghae looked at Siwon, waiting for him to elaborate. Siwon put a hand on the fish’s shoulders and looked at him straight in the eye. “Donghae. You remember Dara ssi’s words on the mountain, right? She thinks you left her because of Jihyun. Dispatch pictures of the two of you? And now that she’s here,” Paused. “Dara ssi might think that there’s really something going on between the two of you.”

That is when Donghae finally let out his frustration over the matter. “There’s nothing between us!” He waved the burger on Siwon’s face. “Why can’t people believe me? She’s a friend. A friend yesterday! Today! And all the tomorrows that will come! Why can’t anybody listen to me?” He kept on whining like a kid. “I don’t like her. I don’t love her. I only like Dara. I only love Dara! Siwon, you do und-” But Donghae didn’t finish his rant as he just took a bite on the burger on his hand.

He had a fight to prove Jaejoong that Dara is still his but how would he do that when Dara thinks that he is someone else’s?

“Donghae. Calm down.” Eunhyuk comforted his bestfriend. “I already thought of a way.” He smirked at s. “Just go with it.” His smirk got even wider.

“Go with what?” The three asked in unison.

“The double date.”

“Are you stupid or what?” Kyuhyun made a face at him. Donghae raised his hand, acting that he wanted to smack his bestfriend.

“Wait.” Eunhyuk raised both his hands on the air. “Before all the violent reactions, hear me out first.” The three raised their brows at him and he took it as their calmed down mode. “Okay. Has anyone here actually has the balls to tell a girl to leave after feeding us and the whole working staff? Hmm?”

The three looked at each other in silence.
