“Sanjangnim.”

“Dara ah.”

The head of YG family sadly smiled at one of his most precious princess. They were inside his office where all YG artists feared of but that time . . . fear is something she could only feel for her beloved sister’s life. For four hours, Dara had been waiting in that office. Praying for a donor. Begging in silence to the God above.

“I’m sorry that I’m . . . late. I . . . had to talk to someone.”

Yang Hyun Suk felt his throat tightening. She looked so tired. Stressed. Desperate. Bright Dara. Our bright Dara. When are we going to see you again? He thought as he kept on studying the face that was once shinier than the mighty sun, now couldn’t be found.

“It’s okay sanjangnim. I understand.” Dara cleared and straightened up from the couch. She could feel the tears wanting to fall down but tried her best not to. “Sanjangnim. I’m here for only one reason. I . . . I . . .”

“Dara-”

“I don’t know where else to go. Whom to ask for a help.”

“Dara.”

“I don’t know what to do anymore, sanjangnim.” Her voice broke. YG’s CEO could only stare at her in pity. His princess didn’t deserve any of these. “Sanjangnim. Durami . . . Durami . . . She needs your help. The donor Siwon ssi’s father found backed out again. The doctors said . . . Durami . . . only 24 hours . . .” Dara’s tears were now falling unstoppably on her cheeks. “I know you’re also doing your best in finding a donor but . . . There’s no time left and-”

“Look at those. Ah!” YG stood up from the couch and walked over the glass table near the tall windows. Tears were beginning to form on his eyes just by looking at Dara’s crying face. He just couldn’t take it. “Sean had been pestering me for about a week just to have those delivered. Ah sincha! He annoyed the hell outta me. He said they’re cute to have them as decors in this office. Tch. What’s so cute with those?” He pointed at the small figurines of every YG artists in the company. They’re all complete. YG. Bigbang. Jinusean. Epik High. 2NE1. WINNER. IKON. AKMU. Lee Hi. Gummy. SE7EN. YGK models and actors/actresses.

Dara wiped the tears on her cheeks as she looked at the cute figurines. Every image was sculpted from their debut. “Mine’s missing?” She smiled weakly, noticing that hers was nowhere to be found among the figurine crowd.

YG smiled at the corner of his lips. “Someone asked me for it. Greatest fan of yours.” He turned to look at Dara. “If there’s someone I could entrust you with, Dara ah . . . it’s definitely that person.” He gave her a fatherly smile.

Dara’s brows creased for a bit. “Mwo?”

“Nothing. You know what they say about fans. They’ll protect you no matter what. Will do just about anything for you.”

Silence.

“Sanjangnim.” Dara stared at him in confusion.

“Dara.” He hesitated. “About the news.”

There was a short silence that engulfed the two. Dara gulped in return. “Sanjangnim. Mianhaeyo. I didn’t mean to keep this as-”

“For the first time in my life Dara ah,” He paused. His eyes were telling something but she was too preoccupied with all the problems she’d had so she did not notice them. “I don’t know what to say to you. For that, I’m really sorry.”

Her heart felt so constricted. She treated him as her own father and for a daughter to lie every time he asked her if there was someone she was dating with . . . who wouldn’t feel betrayed? He must be really mad and disappointed at me. I’m ruining my group’s image. This company’s name. She thought. Dara bowed her head and wiped the tears on her eyes.

A soft knock was heard as GD entered the room. “Ji.” Dara called him.

“Noona.” His eyes were so sad as he stared at his favorite noona. Did he and Kiko fight again? Or maybe, he just pitied her. She thought as the guy walked near the television and turned it on without saying a thing.

“What is it, Jiyong ah?” YG asked him.

“CL . . . They’re talking about CL’s debut song in America.” He looked at the CEO’s eyes meaningfully.

“I see.” YG whispered to himself and went to stand in front of the large TV. Dara was behind him, words wanted to come out from . She was only there for one thing. And that is, to save Durami. She loves Chaerin so much but she felt like standing there and watching the reporters discussed their leader’s song and music video was wasting all the time she needed.

On TV . . .

Reporter 1: Overall, I think CL ssi’s debut deserves a rating of 8.3 out of 10. Gotta give her the credit with all those fierceness.

Reporter 2: I’d give her a perfect 10. Everything about her is perfect.

Reporter 1: Queen.

Reporter 2: Queen indeed.

Reporter 1: Another 2NE1 member has slayed the headlines of every news station and even, the social media sites.

Reporter 2: Wait, that’s gonna be our last topic. Just like what they say, save the best for last.

Reporter 1: Of course! Oh! I could picture our director crying in tears for having Sandara Park off the market.

Reporter 2: Yeah. He’s wiping those tears there. Hahaha!

Reporter 1: Alright! But before that, our next topic, oh! I didn’t see this coming. I just thought-

Reporter 2: Yeah. He’s too young to enlist. Well, not too young but isn’t it that the other two were originally planned to go for it?

Reporter 1: I know right. Who are we talking? It’s none other than SM’ Entertainment’s most loved boy group, Super Junior! Again, congratulations to Super Junior and ELFs who just won the recent Teen Choice Awards! Wow! Daebak!

Reporter 2: Ne! Congratulations! Such an honor. Back to it, an SM representative just released a statement saying that two of their members are set to enter the military camp two weeks from now. Who are they?

Reporter 1: Change of plans, I guess. So, Eunhyuk ssi and Donghae ssi’s enlistment just got pushed back. When is it gonna be? That, the SM CEO can only answer.

Reporter 2: Plus, Super Junior’s members are scheduled for a flight going to Paris tonight at 11 P.M. Fans already flooded the Incheon Terminal 1 just to see a glimpse of their favorite oppas who were suddenly leaving them for quite some time.

Reporter 1: Quite some time?

Reporter 2: Ne. It has been reported that they’re going to roam around the city together and enjoy all the time until Siwon and Ryeowook go back here for their military service. After that, Yesung and Kyuhyun will continue their promotions in China for two months. Heechul, Kangin and Leeteuk will be staying in Japan for some commitments. A source says that a Japanese director want Kim Heechul to act in a Japanese drama and movie. High chances are, he will accept them.

Reporter 1: They’re dominating Asia! As expected.

Reporter 2: Right! Oh wait! How about Donghae ssi and Eunhyuk ssi? Are they gonna come back here after their cozy Paris vacation?

Reporter 1: SM just confirmed that the two have been adamant in studying again so they decided to enroll in a top Performing Arts school in Paris for a whole year. Hence, D&E will be missing in KPOP scene for a year to pursue their academic dreams.

Reporter 2: Maybe that’s the reason why they had to cancel their enlistment.

Reporter 1: Maybe.

Reporter 2: So, Korean fans will not be able to see their oppas for a really long time. Some are in the camp . . . some in Japan and China while others are studying in Paris. Phew! Must be heartbreaking for fellow countrymen.
