The present time

A young boy was walking around the park, not knowing where to go. He was too anxious to go to the dorms since he knew it was very much likely for him to ran into someone.

The boy brushed his fingers through his light brown hair, sighing.

It was August, the shcool would start today and Yoseob would begin his third year in SUA. He was nervous, not because of the school starting not because of how busy his schedule would be. 

No, none of that. 

His nervousness stems from deeper. From his heart. 

Sighing again, he sat on one of the benches, cursing once again for ever even attending to the Seoul University of Arts in the first place and meeting a certain someone.

If only he had been wise enough to not meddle into him. He would have saved himself from so many things; sadness, tears and a total heart break.

'Aish, I better go back.' Yoseob thought to himself as he started walking towards the school.

The boy's mind was occupied with a lots of thoughts; Does he remember me? Of course he does, it's only been three months. Three months, ha?

He wondered if it was true that the certain someone was seeing someone - a girl. He had heard a lot of rumors even though he had spent his summer with his parents at the countryside.

He had been a coward, running from his life. He knew that. But what was he supposed to do?

It was bad enough that all of his friends were away on vacations. And then it had happened.

Yoseob shivered as he tried not to think of the past few months - more like the past two years.

"Yoseob-ah! You're back!" Hyunseung immediately run to the younger one and hugged him. Yoseob felt so relieved seeing his friends. Somehow he had been afraid that he had lost them too.

After all, Hyunseung was dating the Joker.

"How have you been? You don't look like you've been crying. Have you?" Seung cupped Yoseob's face between his hands but Yoseob only smiled shaking his head.

"No hyung. I haven't been crying."

"But seriously. How are you?" Even though Hyunseung had his own 4D world, he knew when something was wrong. And who wouldn't know. I mean it was obvious that Yoseob wasn't over his.. well problems.

"I'm.. better." Yoseob answered nodding slightly, somehow trying to assure himself.

"Hi Seob." Kikwang's head popped out from their room and the youngers hugged.

"Is everythinh okay?" Kikwang asked patting Yoseob's head making the other one smile.

"Hyunseung hyung just asked that. I'm alright. Nervous though."

The others knew why, they didn't need to ask. It was obvious that the youngest was feeling nervous because of the next day.

"Is there any chance I won't run in to him?" the light brown haired boy asked almost whining. "Probably not. It's against all the odds." Hyunseung sighed and earned a small elbow poke from Kikwang.

"Aishh!" Yoseob ruffled his head and fell on the couch only to open his eyes to see two more familiar faces.

"Dongwoon! Junhyung hyung!" the small boy lifted himself up quickly, hugging the others.

Dongwoon was the newest addition in their group. Turns out Kikwang wasn't as shy as they thought.

"How are you Yoseob-ah?" Junhyung asked with a worried face just to earn a shook of a head from the younger one.

"Stop asking. Please. Just.. keep him away from me, alright?" Yoseob spoke sighing and Junhyung didn't protest. After all, he was the first one to hear about the events from last May.

"Sure. I can try. Though I think you should know that.. He is.. err.. seeing someone. Her name is Gayoon." The Joker scratched his neck as Yoseob's expression went from sad to angry and then emotionless.

"Great for him."

There were glances exchanged in the room but Yoseob didn't notice it as he fell back in his thoughts.

'Why was I ever so stupid to believe him? He never loved me. He never felt anything for me.' 

These kind of thought had been running through the small boy's mind all summer. At first he tried to understand why, what had changed. What was wrong with him, what had he done to drive the other one away?

And he couldn't think of anything. Everything was good - no, everything was great.
