The teacher had been lecturing about history of music for fifteen minutes already, and normally it would be boring for Yoseob but now he was only glad.

It was his first music class after the Christmas break and he hadn't seen Gayoon before this. He was afraid that he'd say something he'd regret later if they'd talk.

Besides, Yoseob really wasn't in the mood to talk to Gayoon. The other could ruin his good mood in matter of seconds. He sighed closing his eyes, trying to relax.

"Pair up, people. We'll be doing a presentation, that will be performed in front of this class. Judging by the look on your faces you've completely forgot how to perform or act. You all look dead bored." The teacher spoke up with a strict voice.

All the students slowly moved and paired up. Yoseob was a second too slow when the cheery girl sat next to him. "Nice to see you Yoseob-ah." the girl smiled at him and Yoseob tried to smile back.

"Yeah, nice to see you too."

The teacher gave them the instructions, telling that this would be a singing exercise, meaning no other instruments could be used than only mouths.

"I think we can do this pretty easily." Gayoon said clapping her hands together. Yoseob nodded trying his best not to feel awkward.

"How was your Christmas?" the girl tilted his head as she spoke. "It was nice, yours?" Yoseob scratched his neck.

"So great! I spent it at Doojoon's house and his parents were so nice to me and all, it was perfect. Although Doojoon was kinda out of it at some point. I think he might have been sick." Gayoon pouted a little.

Yoseob tried to stop the thoughts in his head but he knew that Doojoon's Christmas hadn't been even close to a perfect one. And there was a pretty good chance that the other hadn't even been thinking about Gayoon.

"Yeah maybe." Yoseob hummed.

"But he got me this amazing sweater, it was really beautiful." Gayoon sighed happily. Yoseob perked his ears. "He got you a sweater? Did he buy you anything else?"

"No, why?" Gayoon tilted her head. "Oh, no reason. You must be really happy." The boy tried to smile a bit. But his thoughts were tearing him apart bit by bit.

Doojoon had given him the bracelet and Gayoon a sweater. Shouldn't it be just the opposite, really? He was someone that Doojoon used to date, used to know.

Now everything was different, but why did the older do something like this? Sure Yoseob could be over analyzing this all and Doojoon just really didn't care about the fact.

Maybe this all meant nothing.

But it was still odd. You don't go buying expensive jewelery to your ex's and then give your girlfiend a freaking sweater. Or do you?

Yoseob sighed.

"You seem tired again. Are you alright?" Gayoon seemed worried but Yoseob wasn't in the mood to talk to the girl at all. His thoughts were a mess.

"I'm fine. I have a lot of stuff going on right now, but it's okay." Yoseob assured but Gayoon wasn't done. "Have you been cutting?"

The question brought a tight feeling in the boy's stomach. He hadn't done it in a long time and hearing someone even mention it, made him feel a bit sick.

"I'm sorry Gayoon, but this is really my personal business. I don't think you should think about it." Yoseob's gaze met with Gayoon's and the girl nodded, obviously worried.

"So, the excercise. You just pick the song and then we can practice." Yoseob spoke briefly.

"Sure." The bright smile was back on Gayoons face as she started going through her playlists. Yoseob turned his gaze away from the girl and glanced at the bracelet on his wrist.

'What the hell is he thinking?'

"Do you want anything else?" asked the smiling waitress as she placed the coffee cup in front of Doojoon. "No thanks." Doojoon also smiled but he couldn't help but notice the certain glimmer in the girl's eyes.

She walked away, keeping her eyes on Doojoon as long as she could without tripping over. Doojoon almost chuckled but held it in.

He turned back to his tablet, scrolling the news. His mind wasn't fully in it though. He had came to this coffee house only to distract himself, but so far it hadn't helped one bit.

His father had called him and told that they would have to meet tomorrow. Doojoon knew it had probably something to do with him taking over the company and possibly- no, certainly- marrying Gayoon.

Doojoon had always known that eventually he'd take over his father's company. He was only child in the Yoon family, so there was no much of a choice for him.

He never wanted to take over the company, but since his father left him no choice he had to bent to his will. When Doojoon had found out that his future was decided for him, about four years ago, he became a real rebel.

He played around and went to clubs - underaged - and drank. He rarely slept with anyone though - he wasn't so keen on having any deseases. That was about the time his father started losing his temper a bit too easily. Also one of the first times that his father had hit him.

Doojoon didn't bent to his will very easily though. He asked Junhyung to be his cover up and of course his friend agreed. Doojoon was a bit afraid of his father at that time, but all of the fear had drained out of him during these years.

He wasn't afraid for himself but other people he worried about. His father was an erratic person.

The next stop was when he heard that he'd eventually marry some rich girl, that it was the best for him. It wasn't such a big deal to him at the time he first heard of it.

He had never been interested in anyone, not even once in his life, so the news didn't bother him. For a while he even thought that he might be aual.

But then he met Yoseob. Yo for light, Seob for fire, indeed. The boy seemed shy, but he fought against every prank, every tease and every bad word that Doojoon ever said.

He smiled to himself.

Yoseob had been something.. undescribable. At first he thought that Yoseob would be someone he could play with - with dececny since the younger was friend of Junhyung's - but in no time he realised that he wasn't playing at all.

He actually craved for the other's attention. It had been quite a shock to him once he realised this all and what it meant. Not to even begin with the first kiss of theirs.

Another big smile spread across his face.

A door bell's sound woke him from his thoughts. He found himself locking eyes with the one and only Yang Yoseob. He smiled and motioned the other to come over.

"Want to join?" he asked as the younger reached his table. "Actually I was going to take a coffee to go, but.. What the hell, why not." The other
