You better be happy
You better be happyA loud knock was heard from the door. Still no one seemed to care much. It might be the fact that the boys inside the room were both sound asleep.
Now the knocking was more like banging and the older boy slowly opened his eyes. His head hurt a lot but he got up from his bed - where he was lying with another boy.
The older one smiled a bit. The bang was heard again and again.
The red haired boy huffed in annoyance and opened the door only to get almost hit by a doe-eyed boy.
"Where is Yoseob? He didn't come home last night." It was Hyunseung speaking. Now that Lee Joon looked more closely - after all he was still a bit out of it - there was Junhyung awkwardly standing beside the doe-eyed man.
Lee Joon yawned and streched before finally answering.
"He slept the night here."
Hyunseung eyed the other suspiciously when Junhyung spoke:
"See? I told you he's fine. Let's just go Seung."
"So you two slept together? Or was he just sleeping?" Hyunseung narrowed his eyes, totally ignoring his boyfriend's comment. Lee Joon found the situation rather amusing.
He was well aware that Yoseob hadn't been feeling well, but he didn't know the reason why. He just wanted to help his little friend.
Only he felt that Yoseob didn't understand how great friends he had. That's why the situation seemed a bit funny to him. Those two being worried over someone who had just done drugs last night and partied harder than anyone ever.
"We slept but not together." Lee Joon said sighing.
"Good. Yoseob doesn't need another playboy to be his lover. Tell him that I'll be waiting at his dorm room. Please." With that Hyunseung turned away and left with Junhyung after him.
Lee Joon chuckled closing the door.
"Who was that?" There was a yawning Yoseob with a sleepy face standing at the entrance of Lee Joon's room. Lee Joon smiled and went to the younger boy.
"It was Junhyung and Hyunseung. They'll be waiting you at your room."
Yoseob nodded for understanding.
"So did you have fun last night?" Lee Joon asked placing his hand on Yoseob's shoulder. Yoseob looked at Lee Joon's hand and raised his eyebrows.
"I don't really remember anything about it. But wasn't that the purpose? I don't have to worry for a night." Yoseob then said shrugging.
"True. Just tell me if you want to go again." Lee Joon took Yoseob hand and pulled him to sit around the table.
"I don't think I will, but thanks for the offer anyways. And what are you doing?" Yoseob asked as Lee Joon was doing something with a frying pan and eggs.
"Breakfast silly. What else?" the older chuckled and Yoseob smiled a bit. "Aahh, you're such a mommy." the younger grinned.
"I'd prefer another name." Lee Joon raised his eyebrows as turned to face Yoseob. The younger smiled a bit crooked smile and took one grape from the bowl lying on the table.
"Well then. You're such good boyfriend, Lee Joon-ah~"
Lee Joon grinned and they both laughed. Yoseob enjoyed this kind of a joking. He knew Lee Joon didn't expect for him to actually date the older or anything like that.
Only that Yoseob did find him rather attractive.
But he could never love anyone again, so he'd never even consider of dating Lee Joon.
Yoseob shook the thoughts away and so they had a nice breakfast together.
Only if Yoseob was really happy, only if..

"Finally you're back!" Hyunseung almost shouted as Yoseob closed the door. Sure the clock was already almost 1pm but he was not a kid anymore.
"Hi to you too, Seung, Jun." Yoseob put on a smile but Hyuseung only tapped his foot on the floor. "What were you doing with Lee Joon last night? You could have been hanging out with us."
Yoseob shook his head.
"Lee Joon's my friend. I'll hang out with him when I want to. What's up with you?" Yoseob furrowed his eyebrows as he spoke. Junhyung sighed and spoke before his boyfriend could.
"We just think that Lee Joon might not be the right person for you to hang out with. He's, well, worse than Doojoon ever was."
Yoseob furrowed his eyebrows once again. "Are you kidding me? I'm not into Lee Joon. We're not together and we'll never be together. Don't tell me what's good for me and what's not."
Junhyung knew right away that they had made a mistake when they meddled in Yoseob's life as the younger finished speaking. Hyunseung on the other hand - not so much.
"We're your friends, Yoseob. We just want to be there for you."
'Oh, is that so? Where were you when I was at my worst?' Yoseob thought and gritted his teeth together. Instead of mouthing his thoughts, he only sighed.
"You're right guys. I'm sorry. But really. You don't need to be worried about Lee Joon. He's just a friend." This time the youngest tried to smile a bit to back up his words.
The two nodded before hugging Yoseob.
"Just tell us if something's wrong, alright?" Junhyung said caressing Yoseob's shoulder and the younger nodded.
"We have to go. But you can call at any time." Hyunseung said, hugging his best friend once more. The two left and Yoseob sat down on the couch, sighing.
He buried his face in his hands - he wanted to scream.
He was too sad, too tired and too everything to even open up to his friends. He didn't want to burden his friends with his problems, he didn't want to seem pathetic.
"Why is everything so messed up..?"

"Hello, appa." Doojoon bowed slightly as his father was about to walk past him on the hall of their house. "Doojoon. I heard you invited Gayoon here for Christmas. Wise decision. Is everything going alright with her?"
"Yes, appa. But I have to ask.." Doojoon now lifted his head as he spoke. His father wasn't facing him but he was looking at his son from the corner of his eye.
"Yes?"
"About the marriage with Gayoon. Is that really needed? I thought we only agreed about the engagement. I don't want to marry her,
