With your new group of friends, time at school flew past quickly, and before you knew it, more than a month had already passed by. Initially, the Lina fans were still getting in your way, but as soon as they saw you talking and hanging out with the boys in the hallways or on your way to class (apparently you had a couple of classes with them separately but you were not attentive enough to notice them before), they figured out you guys were friends stopped almost immediately. You suspected that even though you told them to not do anything, the boys still let something out as a warming --- not that you were complaining or anything. You hung out with them almost everyday after school, and you quickly bonded together. Some days you practiced in the studio and cyphered together, other times you just laid around chatting and eating. Either way, you managed to know each other fairly well and were completely comfortable with them. Hoseok and Jungkook showed up a few times as well, and you couldn't explain how happy you were every single time you saw them walk into the small dance studio at school, even though they always notified you beforehand. 

Speaking of which, you exchanged phone numbers after that first day you met everyone at the studio, so even when you didn't get to see them for one reason or another, you still chatted occasionally through text. In Hoseok and Jungkook's case, you guys texted quite a lot, since you didn't see them that often. Conversations with them always occurred at ungodly hours of the day, and you guessed it was probably because of their busy schedules. But you didn't mind receiving texts from them at two o'clock at night at all, since you were such a night owl anyway. You sort of mutually agreed that they would text you first, since you didn't know their schedule and therefore didn't know when it was appropriate to text them. Chatting with them was always fun and enjoyable, even though conversations with the two boys were quite different. When you were talking with Jungkook, it was always short and casually fun, and you felt like you were texting your beloved younger brother. A typical conversation with him would be like: 

Noonaaaaaaaaa~~~ XD whatcha doing?

Hahaha what's up Jungkookie? I'm getting a midnight snack *insert cookie emoticon*

Waaaaa!! Are you eating cookies?

Yep~ want some? ;)

YAAAAAASSSSS!! But I'm on a diet :/

Yah what do you even need a diet for? You burn enough fat dancing! It's not healthy for you to be on a diet at your age!

But on the other hand, texting with Hoseok spanned from long conversations to a simple line. You remembered the first night you got his phone number you were texting him all the way through dinner and homework until you almost fell asleep in your bed. You didn't really talk about anything in particular, just exchanging bits and pieces of yourselves with each other. But even so, he managed to make the conversation lively with his sassiness and humor. Sometimes you had deep conversations as well, topics ranging from discussing the importance of dance to theorizing why chopsticks are called chopsticks. These conversations, however pointless some of they were, were great fun nonetheless. But besides those, Hoseok also left quick one-liners that melted your heart every single time, just like now: 

Yah, it's really cold outside today. Don't get sick and wear an extra layer, arrasso? 

Your alarm sounded from your phone as you squinted your eyes and reached for it, only to immediately wake up at this text that Hoseok left more than an hour ago. A sweet smile crept onto your face as you bit your lips and felt your chest swell with warmth. What a way to start the day, you thought as you hopped out of bed energetically. You felt like you should text him back, but it took a long while for you to think about what to say. After sitting on your bed and pondering for a few minutes, you finally texted him back as you grabbed your uniform and stepped into the bathroom: 

Yeah got it. Thanks~ why are you up so early anyway? Aren't your schedules mainly at late night?

You quickly washed up and smiled for no reason as you looked at yourself in the mirror. After grabbing a bite of the microwaved leftover from last night's chicken fricassé and rice, you grabbed your backpack and dance wear and left your studio with a bounce in your steps. 

Something told you it would be a great day today.

Yawning, Hoseok and the other BTS members climbed into the freezing van with white vapors escaping from their mouths. After being awake for almost 24 hours straight and got mildly scolded by the photographer from the outdoor photo shoot, sleepiness got the best of him as he rested his head on Yoongi's shoulder and closed his eyes. Surprisingly, the older didn't complain, probably because he passed out as soon as he got settled in his seat. Hoseok was about to do the same when he felt a sudden jolt from his pocket, signaling a text from his phone. He sluggishly reached for the device, just to immediately smiled as he saw the message: 

Yeah got it. Thanks~ why are you up so early anyway? Aren't your schedules mainly at late night?

Glancing at the time, you were probably already going to class. Hoseok thought for a moment, then texted back hastily: 

Technically it is late night cuz I didn't sleep yet :P anyway go to class now. I have time stop by later today

After sending out the message, he dropped his phone in his lap and leaned his head back as he closed his eyes again. If he remembered correctly, they still had a few more stops for their schedule, and the last one would end about twenty minutes after school finished. The other members were probably going to return to the dorm and sleep the rest of the day away, so that left plenty of time for him to go meet with you at school. He let out a satisfied sigh and smiled at the thought of this. Even if he were to fall asleep at the studio at school, which he probably would be doing, it would have felt better in your presence than alone in the dorm.

Honestly, now that he thought about it, Hoseok wasn't quite sure what was so special about you that he was drawn to --- besides to fact that you were a phenomenal dancer, that is. During the few times you got together, he began taking more and more notice of all the little things you did that made his heart skip a beat. He remembered once saying something about how the BTS choreographer scolded them for dancing like a bunch of zombies chasing Jimin during his solo and you cracked up so hard you fell over on you back and squinted your eyes like little crescents while trying and failing to draw breaths. When he looked at you rolling on the ground holding your stomach and trembling from laughing, he felt something in his guts that he'd never experienced before: it was as if someone punched him in the chest with a massive cloud of sunshine, sweetness, and unbelievable warmth. Another time when everyone was at the studio free styling around, a funky song came on and he started doing his famous "push-push" dance, and to his surprise, you quickly skipped over and started doing the silly movements with him. You laughed hard together and playfully slapped each other for looking so stupid and hilarious. Even though the physical contact was brief, Hoseok had the sudden urge to grab your hand and pull you into a tight hug. But of course, he didn't because 1. he wasn't sure how you would react and it would have ruined the moment if you decided to back away, and 2. the other boys were around and, no matter long they had know one another for, it just didn't feel right for them to be present for such kind of skinship. 

As much as he though he was able to sleep for the rest of the day and the next, the thought of meeting you made Hoseok rethink about this. Eventually, he decided that he wanted to look at you more than merely to sleep in your presence, so he immediately proceeded to take a nap like the rest of the members in the van to have more energy when he arrived at school.

You walked out of the school gates alone for the first time in more than a week. Jaehyun and Minsik had a field trip with Neuron, so you hadn't seen them the whole day; Dongjun's mother asked him to pick up his younger sister from primary school, so he left as soon as class ended; and Shimchan went to meet with some of his dance friends from the states who arrived in Korea today. All this left you alone as you walked to the bus stop while pulling out your phone for the first time since class started and pressed play. It just so happened that BTS' "War of Hormones" was playing as you saw Hoseok's text:

At the sight of this, your heart fluttered as you suddenly couldn't wait to see him. It had been almost two weeks since you hung out together, and you missed him more than you expected. Since you were already outside of school and none of the other boys were here, you thought of telling Hoseok to meet up at some other place. You were about to type your reply when you looked up to see if the bus was coming, only to have your breath caught in your throat as you saw sight that you did not expect whatsoever and did NOT want to see again for the rest of your life. 

There was no way you could have been mistaken; you could recognize those men walking on the opposite sidewalk anywhere, be it in the middle of the dark dance floor and booming music or in broad daylight. They wore their usual attires, and their identical tattoos of an eye on the back of their hands stung your sight painfully. 

You felt your heart rate suddenly doubled and tried to find your next breath in a wild surge of panic. Your mind almost went haywire as your frantically tried to calm your nerves. You quickly turned around so that your back was to the group of men and, with shaky hands, held up your phone. You took a shallow breath and replied Hoseok with trembling fingers:

Hoseok-ah, something came up and I already left school. Sorry~ I'll treat you next time! 

After you sent that message, you scrolled through your contact, desperate to find the one person you could tell this to. You finally let go a breath you didn't know you were holding as the name you had been looking for appeared near the bottom of the list. With a trembling finger, you clicked on the contact and pressed the phone hard to your ear. 

When a cheerful "hello~" sounded from the device, you felt your legs go weak and almost sobbed. "S-Sandy-ah," your voice was little more than a whisper as you stuttered and swallowed in attempt to control your hitched breathing, "they just w-walked..." You took a shaky breath and squeezed your eyes shut as you recalled the last time you saw them. The shouts, the punches, the blood. 

"Sandy-ah... They just w-walked in front of my school... The High Wests... Sandy-ah, the High Wests... They're in Seoul!!"
