Woohyun screamed in frustration as he ruffled his hair. He let himself fall back onto his bed as he closed his eyes with a sigh. Why was it so hard? Why did it have to be like this?

All he wanted was to be happy. To be happy with him. But it seemed like fate just didn’t want it to happen.

Woohyun walked down the crowded hallway towards his locker. His eyes lit up when he spotted a familiar head of caramel coloured hair. Woohyun’s lips curved into a dazzling smile as he skipped towards the boy. His smile faded however, when he heard the other speak.

“… haha love you too.” the caramel haired boy was talking happily on his phone, eyes disappearing as he smiled.

“Gyu?” Woohyun called out when the other put his phone away.

Sunggyu turned and his smile widened upon seeing Woohyun.

“Woohyun-ah! How are you today?” Sunggyu asked as he opened his locker and took his books out.

“Who was that?” Woohyun questioned while watching the other.

“Just a close friend.” Sunggyu answered as he closed the door to his locker and turned to look at Woohyun again.

“Closer than me?” Woohyun asked with a pout. He wanted to be closest to Sunggyu and not anyone else.
