“Yeol-ah… I love you. I’ve loved you for centuries. Please… can’t you accept my heart?” Woohyun confessed to Sungyeol with pleading eyes.

Sungyeol blinked before sighing. He’d already had an idea of Woohyun’s feelings but he didn’t know the other had liked him for so long.

“I… Woohyun-ah, you know how I feel.” Sungyeol replied softly with a sad expression.

“But he’s only a human! He’s going to get old and die while you remain young forever. You’ll have to always hold back in fear of killing him.” Woohyun was nearing hysterics as he tried to convince Sungyeol.

“Stop Woohyun, please. I don’t--”

Sungyeol stopped mid-sentence when a gust of wind from a door opening carried a scent to him that he knew all too well. Whirling around, Sungyeol saw Myungsoo standing still, eyes b with tears. Sungyeol then turned back to Woohyun and glared at the other.

“You did that on purpose didn’t you?”

Without waiting for an answer, Sungyeol moved to Myungsoo’s side and scooped him up into his arms. Then at lightning speed, Sungyeol disappeared from the hallway.

Less than a minute later, Sungyeol was gently placing Myungsoo down on the couch in the house Myungsoo lived in alone. As soon as Myungsoo hit the couch, he moved away from Sungyeol and huddled in the furthest side next to the arm rest.
