Why does it seem like everything that you would say is always nice? You would always say the nicest things to me and I’m worried, don’t you think that it will make my head big? Kekekeke, just kidding. But really Minseok, thank you so much for everything. You have no idea how your simple words would always cheer me up. You are always willing to support me with my choice. You encourage me to do the things that I’ve always wanted to do. You push me to do the things that you know I would do well in. You would always encourage me to follow my dream, to never give up, to never settle for what is less.

“Luhan you will be singing this song along with Jongdae and Baekhyun for the Chinese version.” One of the staff announced.

My eyes widened. “M-me?” I asked in disbelief.

The staff nodded nonchalantly. “I think it’s about time. You are one of the group’s vocalists and I believe you have mastered the right techniques.”

You must’ve noticed my expression and approached us. “Is everything alright?” you asked as you swung your arm and draped them over my shoulders.

“Well, I wish you luck and I hope you do well.” With those words the staff bade his farewell.

“Great job Lu, you’re finally getting your big break.” You said as you gave me a pat on the back.

“Do you honestly think I can do this?” I asked. “Don’t you think Yixing is more suited for this than I am?” I couldn’t help but feel uncertain.

“Luhan!” You stopped and turned around so abruptly that I accidentally bumped into you. The look on your face took me by surprise, you were upset with me. “What are you talking about?” I looked down and avoided your gaze. I couldn’t help but feel guilty with your tone of voice.

“You’ll do well, I know it.” Your tone softened but I still couldn’t bear to look into your eyes.

I felt your hand on my chin and lifted my head to meet your gaze. “Luhan, you can do this. I know you can. You deserve it.” You smiled before planting a soft kiss on my lips.

“You have trained for this Luhan. This is your dream. You shouldn’t be afraid of reaching for it.” You eyes are gentle, encouraging and I couldn’t help but smile.

“You mustn’t be afraid of being selfish once in a while.” You smiled as you caressed my cheek gently.

“That’s ironic, coming from you.” I blurted out.

You let out a soft chuckle. “You have every right for this Lulu. You earned this. This is a reward for all your hard work.”

I leaned in to kiss you once more. “What did I do to deserve you?”

Thank you for that Minseok. Thank you for being a big brother that I can always lean on. Thank you for being the person who will always support me no matter what. There’s really nothing much to say Minseok, since I’m sure that everyone knows how well you take care of all of us, even if you’re not the leader, you never hesitate to take the leader’s position if you feel that the need arises. I can’t thank you enough for that.
