Leaked Secrets
Forbidden HeartbeatAilee woke up on the couch fully tucked under the white sheets. She sat upright and glanced around for Myungsoo. He was nowhere to be found, or at least in her sight. Then the restroom door opened and Ailee thought it was Myungsoo. Sungyeol yawned and stretched, "Ah I drank too much juice last night." he bragged to himself. He jumped backward with a yelped, "Oh Ailee! You scared me." Sungyeol said in his normal loud voice, both hands clutching his chest. Ailee wasn't amused.
"Where's Myungsoo?" She asked.
"Oh, he left. He got a call from someone and left." Sungyeol filled her in.
"D-do you know who called him?" Ailee asked, Sungyeol scratched his head.
"No, why?"
"Ah nothing~" Ailee got off the couch and look at the untouched messy table. "Should I clean this up?" Ailee asked.
"Oh! Let's do it together." Sungyeol exclaimed and help Ailee.
Jihoon sniffed in the strong sweet coffee of his, he took a sip from it and felt refreshed. "That hit the spot." He smiled at Myungsoo.
"Are you on a diet? You've lost some weight." Myungsoo pointed out, Jihoon kept his smile and placed the glass of coffee down.
"Myungsoo-ah, I called you out early today because I wanted to discuss something with you."
Myungsoo crossed his arms and nodded, "We always meet because you always wanted to discuss something." Jihoon chuckled at that.
"Sorry, I usually put work before me."
"What did you wanted to talk about?"
"Lee Yejin."
"Lee.... Yejin?" Myungsoo raised an eyebrow.
"Ailee." Jihoon answered abruptly, Myungsoo's eyebrow relaxed and he waited for Jihoon to continue. "You remember my parents right? Or during my parent's funeral before Mr. Kim took me in." Myungsoo nodded once and Jihoon continued, "My parents passed away during a hit and run. The perpetrators killed my parents and laid the blame on my deceased parents until the end. Because they wouldn't take responsible, you could say it was murdered and on purpose."
"So? What does that have to do with Ailee?"
"The murderers of my parents, were Ailee's parents."
Ailee and Sungyeol finished cleaning up. Sungyeol released a relieved sigh and dropped to the couch. "Oh I'm tired." He complained. Ailee finished drying her hands on the rag and walked over to the couch where she dropped beside Sungyeol.
"Sungyeol."
Sungyeol turned to Ailee, ready to answer and listen to whatever she had to say.
"Myungsoo.... What was he like before I met him?" Ailee hesitated.
"Hm, when did you meet him?"
"A while ago..." she lied.
"Well, we were pretty much childhood friends. Myungsoo was always that sort of person." Sungyeol explained putting some thoughts into it. "Why?"
"It's just.... Ah it's nothing. He's al
