Chapter 16 on May 16 O_o

don't mind the titles.. in my point of view, they have connections to what happens every chapter.. but if you think they don't have, just ignore them.. hahaha :) this is just 7 pages.. half of the previous one..

and i know i sound like a broken disc for repeating this everytime i post, you know what to do with the errors :)

As the sun rays of Monday morning hit their country, So Min went out of bed. They weren’t required to be in the office at a specific time. They can go there whatever time they want unless if there are a lot of clients waiting for their agency to recommend their best organizers.

It was new for So Min to go to the office at such an early time. But the various cognition within her was too much to handle. And she thinks distracting herself in the office is a way for her to forget those.

“What are you doing so early?” a shocked Mrs. Jung asked her daughter. She was just about to prepare breakfast for them before she directs to their restaurant and it surprised her to see So Min already awake. And completely dressed too.

“Mom, what kind of question was that?” So Min asked back in sarcasm. “I’m up to work.”

Mrs. Jung contemplated for a bit. Even if So Min was smiling, she can’t fool her mother. Something, or better said, some people were occupying her mind.

“Alright. Sit down first and I’ll prepare your breakfast,” said Mrs. Jung.

So Min gladly obeyed her, anticipating for the delicious meal she was about to swallow. She would’ve helped her mom if she was on the mood. But that was exactly the problem – she wasn’t on the mood.

Flickers of what happened last Friday night polluted her mind. She recollected the drinking part. What occurred after that was all blurry as if they were written using an inkless pen. She remembered talking to Hyun Joong, but the topic wasn’t clear. To top it all, she can recall a warm sensation filling her lips, not just once, but twice. And that hotness travelled down to her body as if she just drank a glassful of hot water.

The next thing she knew, it was Saturday morning. She was in her room and her clothes have been changed. She spent the whole weekend thinking about the sequences. But turned out her brain couldn’t extract them well.

“SO MIN!!”

“Yes, mom? Why did you have to shout right in front of my face?”

“I said your breakfast is ready!” Mrs. Jung repeated.

“Okay,” So Min replied shortly and started eating.

Her mom stood at the other side of the table with crossed arms on her chest, as she watched her daughter dig in. Whatever it was that was bothering So Min, it must be too personal for her not to share it with her mom. Nonetheless, Mrs. Jung was willing to wait until she’s ready to open up.

“Tell Gyo Min and Mrs. Choi to heat up their food first. I left it in the refrigerator. I have to go to the resto now,” Mrs. Jung instructed to the eating So Min, who just nodded at her.

The mother walked over to gave her a kiss on the forehead. “Be good at work. Presence of mind,” she reminded before walking to the doorstep and put on her shoes. “And tell your brother he better not be late! I don’t want the dean to send me a call-parent notification again!” With that, she was out of the door, heading to their car.

So Min laughed at her mother’s last words. After consuming the last bites of her food, she settled the plates on the sink to wash them. She left a note pasted on the fridge for Gyo Min and Mrs. Choi.
