The next day, there wasn’t school, so we slept at Mark’s house. “Babe..” He called after his shower. “Hm?” I say, not taking my eyes away from the laptop screen in front of me. He comes up and kisses me. “C’mon, we’re racing tonight.” He says before kissing me again. I nod and close the laptop. It’s been a bit awkward in the beginning, not everything’s back to normal, but almost. I sigh as I get up. He hugs me and continues to rock back and forth, his wet chest against me. “I’m racing against semi kings, what do you think?” He smiles. “I think they’ll win.” I say teasingly. He glares at me and I smile. “Just kidding love.” I tiptoe up to kiss him but he frowns. I pout and he smiles and kisses me. “I’ll win of course.” I smile and get ready. He rolls his eyes before putting on a shirt and drying his hair.
