“My eomma died.. Your dad died..” I look up at the sky.

“My mom hates how I’m in this gang life, your dad despises anything that has to do with gangs.” Ho Seok sighed while laying down.

“We’re so alike..” I laugh, laying next to him.

“You cut though, I fought.” He sighed lightly.

“I learned how to fight afterwards. You helped me to stop. ” I say emotionally.

“Now when everyone sees me, they’ll only look at me and say ‘that one kid’s parent died, & they’re in a gang. They’re bad people’” Ho Seok bitterly laughed.

“Same for me.. Judgmental society..” I sigh.

“I want to forget about my past. I don’t want people to look at my past and see it as who I am. I want to start over new. I want a new life..Just like you. ” Ho Seok looked at me, seriously.

“Let’s do that then. Let’s forget our identities. Let’s change.” I smile at him.

“That’s hard..” He says quietly looking down.

“No it isn’t. Your new name will be Hope, because you became my hope.” I grin.

“But I want part of my name at least…” He groaned.

“Fine, then I’ll change mines to Seok.” I laugh.

“You need a bit of your identity.. So Min.. Min Seok.” He nodded at his creativity.

“Since I have a part of yours, you’ll have a part of mines.” I click my tongue.

“Minji – Min = Ji. So J(I) Hope. Yeah?” I look at him.
