Just for kicks
Catch That Thief
He thanked the waitress as she set down his cup of coffee, not forgetting to send her a charming smile which made her blush.
He looked around the cafe while sipping his coffee, observing the customers. His vision landed on a girl with short, auburn hair. Kibum couldn't really tell how she looked like as he could only see her side profile. He then noticed the girl had carelessly left her bag ped, at the seat diagonally across from her.
The strange thing about her was that even though her fingers were on her laptop, her line of sight drifted beyond the computer screen. She was looking at the man sitting at the opposite table. Kibum took a quick look at him as well. He didn't look half bad, probably why the lady was checking him out.
Kibum smirked to himself as he thought, this could be a good practice, haven't done this for quite some while. He stood up with his coffee and walked over to the girl.
"May I take a seat?" He asked smoothly, smiling slightly.
The girl looked up and Kibum's eyes widened in shock.
She, or rather, he was not a girl, just an incredibly pretty boy.
"Sure." He said monotonously.
Kibum regained composure and awkwardly sat down at the seat opposite of her… Him. Kibum didn't miss the look of annoyance on his face for a split second.
However, that didn't stop him from carrying out his plan.
"So, are you staying in this hotel?" Kibum asked, staring straight at the other male's eyes.
"No." He simply replied, eyes still fixed on the male behind Kibum, and not even bothering to remove his earphones.
Still smiling, Kibum continued, "So, are you expecting someone?"
"I'm here for work." Again, with the monotonous voice and indifferent face.
In the midst of the conversation, Kibum's right hand managed to slip into the opened bag beside him.
"Oh, so you're doing work on your laptop or does your work involve staring at the guy sitting behind me?" Kibum asked sarcastically, raising one of his brows.
The male's vision was finally directed at Kibum, though he was glaring intensely at him. The male plugged out his earphones. "I did not let you sit here for you to ask me questions about my life. So, just shut up and drink your coffee or find somewhere else to sit."
Kibum laughed as his hand grabbed onto something in the bag and quietly returned to his pocket. "Alright," He said, standing up and raising his arms, "I'll go then. Bye, enjoy your coffee!" He smiled and walked out of the cafe.
He walked to the underground parking lot as he fished out the object in his jacket. A HTC phone. Kibum scoffed, "Only a HTC?" Kibum didn't mind much though, knowing he only did it for fun.
Then, the car park door twenty metres behind him swung open, creaking as it did.
"I believe that phone is mine." The voice echoed within the car park.
Kibum swung around, noting that it was the guy from the cafe.
"Finder keepers, loser weepers." Kibum sang, purposely waving the phone in his arms.
The other male only walked calmly to him, "You didn't find it, you stole it from my bag."
"Oh really? Well then, there's another saying that goes 'catch me if you can'." Kibum smirked, hopping onto his motorbike.
"Yah!" The guy screamed femininely, picking up his pace and running towards Kibum.
However, Kibum already sped off, grinning triumphantly as he did. He couldn't blame himself that he mistook that guy for a girl, because he certainly sounded like one too.

Kevin opened a software in his laptop and typed in some details. A click sound indicated that the connection was secured and Kevin smiled proudly. He plugged in his earphones and stared intently at the man sitting at the table opposite him. Kevin listened carefully to his conversation that was made possible by the software in his laptop.
He had been at the cafe of the grandest hotel in Seoul for the whole morning, waiting for a particular man to arrive. And when the said man arrived 10 minutes ago, he quickly got to work.
No, Kevin wasn't a stalker; he was just dutifully doing his job.
20 minutes gone by and Kevin didn't even hear anything informative from that man, whose name by the way, was called Kiseop.
He found his eyes half-lidded, as he continued looking at Kiseop, waiting for any trace of information to slip out of his mouth.
Just when Kiseop said something that seemed important, a black-haired man had to distract him, asking to take a seat at his table. And that man just had to sit opposite him, blocking his view of Kiseop. Kevin felt like killing the man right there.
After a bunch of useless questions asked, the man finally decided to go away. Thank god, Kevin thought as he rolled his eyes.
Wanting to make a phone call, Kevin grabbed his bag and rummaged for his phone. Kevin couldn't find it no matter how hard he tried.
That man. .
Realisation hit him and he quickly chased after the man whom he assumed stole his phone while sitting across him.
And that was why Kevin was at the car park of the hotel, panting heavily while he supported his hands on his knees.
"Bastard." He mumbled to himself as he watched the back view of the motorbike zoom off.
After he caught his breath, he walked back to the cafe, only to find that Kiseop already left.
Kevin groaned and mentally face palmed himself. This day just gets better and better.
After packing his things, he left the cafe, reminding himself to get ready for the reprimands his boss would be giving when he returns to the office.
