Prompt: "Kaixing tyring to flirt or be sly around the members"

TITLE: NINJA, WE ARE NOT

It’s not always easy living with 10 other guys. Kim Jongin has gotten it down to a science that if he doesn’t make time for important things he’ll be in line for far too long. Trying to share two bathrooms was one of those important things he liked to make time for. Unfortunately his alarm wasn’t always to keen on keeping up with his needs to pee in the morning - not that he could really be bothered by it anyway - this being one of those mornings.

He sighed as he watched Chanyeol mess with his phone in front of him; a towel swung over his shoulders. He was probably going to shower. That would take a while. In front of Chanyeol was Baekhyun, and Kai really didn’t want to get into how long that princess would take to get ready.

It was very unfair. Every little bit of it. All he wanted was to wake up early, sneak into his boyfriends room and kiss him good morning, empty his bladder, and cuddle Yixing while Luhan was in the washroom. It all seemed so simple!

Jongin and Yixing were masters; undercover agents of love that had a routine planned out to ensure no one - especially their nagging mother hen, Suho - would find out about them. Jongin cracked a grin as he thought about all the crazy sneaky things he and his lover were able to get away with.

There was the time they made out in the closet backstage, the time they cuddled on the plane ride to China because everyone was asleep; there were just so many! But those were just the spontaneous ones that happened and they seized. Jongin liked the ones they planned and followed daily the most. He really did wake up Yixing every morning with kisses and he really did time everything right so he could cuddle Yixing (because his hyung was the equivalence of a giant teddy bear, not that he’d say that out loud) while Luhan showered. Heck, it even happened during rehearsals!

Jongin looked up from his spacey stare as Chanyeol entered the bathroom. He arranged the towel around his own shoulder and went back to his musings.

During rehearsals he and Yixing would constantly shoot glances at each other. Whether it be through the mirror, or just wondering eyes, the stares where always there. His eyes followed every move Yixing made and his hyungs orbs follow every step he took. Every now and then he’d visibly check Yixing out, but really how was he supposed to hold back? There where practices that went by with such heated tension sometimes that Jongin would find himself telling Suho that he and Yixing needed to go over routines again one on one. Suho would always say something about how he didn’t understand dancers before leaving them to it and it usually didn’t take long for Jongin to have Yixing pinned to the floor or vise versa.

Hand holding under tables. Subtle lingering touches to a shoulder or the small of each others backs. Heated eyes appreciating the fact that God must have spent a little more time on Yixing. Oh yes, he and his dear hyung had it down to a science.

Just as Chanyeol opened the door, a puff of steam following, Jongin was very aware that someone else was behind him.

"All yours bro," Chanyeol beamed. "Morning Lay hyung!"

Behind Jongin, Yixing smiled half way before getting caught up in a yawn. It took a great deal of self control not to squish the life out of his hyung and all his cute antics, but Jongin managed. After all, they were ninjas.

Jongin stepped in the bath room but peeked his head out to Yixing in the hall. He looked around and saw no one but them and smirked.

"Wanna join me?" He asked slyly.

Yixing smiled, his unicorn plushy still in hand. It had been a gift from a fan that he named Kai and slept with when Jongin couldn’t cuddle.

He raised the stuffed plush up and moved his head up and down as if it was speaking. “You didn’t come cuddle us this morning.”

Jongin frowned. He didn’t like not being able to wrap his arms around Lay, but really it wasn’t his fault.

"I know, sorry Kai," He said childishly. "But i’ll make it up to Yixing if you let him join me?"

Yixing pulled the plush down enough to look Jongin in the eye and gave in when he noticed the pout on the younger males face.

"Alright fine," he laughed. "You win. But only because you did aegyo and you know I can’t help myself when you do that."

Jongin beamed as he pulled his hyung into the room, locking the door shut behind them.

Meanwhile…

"They’re at it again," Chanyeol announced as he walked into the kitchen. 

"Again? What, do those two never quit?" Baekhyun grimaced, cereal dribbling down his chin.

"Quit talking with your mouth full!" Suho scolded as he tossed a rag at the males face.

"You know they’re only doing this ‘ninja’ thing because they think you’ll rat them out to management," Kyungsoo said matter of factly towards Suho who was trying to get Tao to eat his toast.

"I don’t want it, give it to Kyungsoo he’s the one that needs to grow," Tao pouted. Kyungsoo glared at the over grown wushu idol - holding a stuffed panda no less - and Suho was thankful the small male had such convincing death glares. Tao ate his meal without complaint.

"You would think they’d have noticed that we’re all kind of paired off too," Xiumin said as he opened his mouth for Luhan to feed him. "If they knew then they’d realize they don’t have to sneak around to be together."

"So who wants to be the brave soul to tell them they at playing ninja?" Chen asked from his seat on the counter.

A sigh rang out among the members. Surely it was best to let Kaixing realize that ninja they are not.
