Hyung wait!"

Zhang Yixing liked to believe in a lot of things. For example: he liked to believe that if closed his eyes tight enough, walked just fast enough, and didn't care enough, that he wouldn't have to face his demons.

"Yah!" Came the harsh grunt as he was spun around quickly to face his most persistent demon to date. "Can't you hear me?"

He managed a weak smile, noticing how close he was to the other male, before speaking. "Sorry," He said evenly. "My ears are a still kind of- "

"You're limping."

Yixing blinked as he was interrupted; the little voice in his head telling him he should have walked faster to the van. An injury was no big deal - unless he was in need of hospital care anyway - but not everyone saw things the way he did.

"It's really not that bad," He assured. At most it was just badly bruised, no need to worry. The other male didn't look convinced.

"Hyung..."

"Kai it's really no big deal," Yixing said with more conviction in his voice. It seemed to work as Jongin took a step back. "I just took a bruise during the performance; I'm fine."

Oh how he wished he was better at facing his demons. He didn't know if it was the young mans presence before him, or if his leg really was that bruised, but either way Yixing stumbled as he took a step forward. It didn't take a genius to figure out that the widening of Jongins eyes was due to said failure to walk a straight line.

"Nope, that." 

He almost didn't register the fact that Jongin had cussed in public as he was hoisted up under his knees and into the air.

"Kim Jongin for the love of all things Kimchi," Yixing seethed. "Put me down. Right now."

A look at the young mans face told him he wasn't about to be put back on the ground and Yixing could feel his face heat up. Why on earth did Jongin think carrying him bridal style to the van - especially after the fiasco on stage a mere hour ago - was the most logical thing to do?

Yixing noticed the smile plastered on the korean males features and ducked his own face into the males neck - away from all the saesangs who were attempting to capture them on film. The only way he knew he was by the van was the other members abnoxious cat calls. Baekhyun was the worst.

"Oh so did you two finally become a thing?"

Jongin rolled his eyes enough for the both of them as he set Yixing down next to him in the van.

"'Cuz you know," Baekhyun smirked. "We've had a bet going, and if you aren't screwing each others brains out within the week I'll come after you both."

At that Yixing felt the need to say something but Luhan beat him to it.

"Say one more word," the usually calm chinese male muttered out. "and I will end you and feed you to my Baozi, now stop talking my head hurts."

It seemed to do the trick and Yixing even managed a chuckle as he watched Xiumin his lips making Baekhyun shrink in his seat. The loud mouth let out a small "help me," towards Chen in the front but the vocalist scoffed in his direction.

"Don't look at me," He said. "I don't help band members who place bets."

That started the duo (and even poor Luhan and Xiumin) in on who would win the bet. Yixing thought he was safe from any redicule or discussion but put the thought to rest when Kai leaned in close to his ear to whisper something.

"You should probably put on your seat belt hyung," he teased.

Yixing felt shivers go up his spine but willed them away as his dongsaeng secured the buckle for him. It was probably for the best seeing as how he really couldn't move under such an intense stare.

"Why didn't you tell the fans what I said?"

There it was. That. The big deal. The gigantic bomb of a question that Yixing really REALLY didn't want to discuss but he found he couldn't say no to Kai. So he did the next best thing.

"I did," He said simply. "You said to tell them they were beautiful and I did."

Yixing tried to look away, his eyes suddenly very interested in the cars zooming past them, but a hand on his chin forced him to look at the younger male.

"Hyung," he deadpanned. "Playing dumb won't help you right now."

Suddenly Beakhyun popped his head between them, his hair a mess and a smirk on his face. "But he's good at it."

"Come bake here!" Was all they heard as Xiumin yanked the vocalist away. The wails where then drowned out as Jongin leaned in closer, his breath ghosting over Yixings neck.

"Yixing," He begged. "Please."

The korean males lips where inches away from his own and he knew they probably looked pretty damn compromising right now, but Yixing was drowning and damn he didn't want it to end.

"Why did you say..." he whispered out. "Why did you say I was beautiful?"

Kai smiled and Yixing was convinced his demon was slowly finding enlightenment, because he was more handsome than any angel he'd ever seen in paintings. 

"I'm assuming you really don't get it do you?" Kai chuckled.

"He wants you between his sheets!" Baekhyun bellowed out before Luhan gave the order for Xiumin to continue his assault.

"I well..." Kai stuttered out. Yixing was beyond flustered as his dongsaeng took a deep breath before continuing. Was it possible for a heart to beat right out of someones chest? Jongins next words left Yixing thinking that yes, yes it was possible.

"I do want you like that too, but," Kai smiled. "I first just want you, for you. The simple beautiful you."

" you really are good with words," Chen whistled out.

The comment seemed to deflate Kais confidence slightly as the male cleared his throat; his cheeks now slightly red.

"I mean, you know, if you don't like me, it's okay. I mean, it's not. But I can get over it. Unless you do like me. I can work with that," Kai babbled out as the van came to a stop. "and we can do stuff, but not that stuff! Well, unless you want to. We can do that too and..." 

Yixing silenced the younger male with a kiss on the lips - quick but effective. As he pulled away it was his turn to smile like an idiot because he couldn't believe he'd been so blind to it all.

"Oh thank god," Chen sighed. "I was about to slap the idiot out of him if you hadn't accepted."

Everyone exited the van, Yixing being the last one out with the help of his (new) boyfriend. 

"Assuming you don't get it, again," Kai asked as he picked up Yixing into his arms once more. "You do understand that if I carry you up to our dorm like this, we're going to have to continue that kiss, right?"

Yixing wrapped his arms around Kais neck; a feather light kiss being placed on the korean males cheek.

"Oh," Yixing winked. "I understand."

As they passed beakhyun up the stares Kai whispered out, "You win the bet," under his breath causing mass chaos in the form of a victorious Baekhyun.

"Yah!" He yelled down the hall. "Chanyeol, Suho, Kyungsoo, pay up!"
