(After one day)

After the kiss, everything went awkward between you and L. To get away from the awkwardness, you decided to go at the bookstore to read some books. You missed reading books. You haven’t done it since you arrived at Guam.

(At the bookstore)                                                 

You’re in the middle of the of the book you were reading when someone tapped your back.

You turned back and saw Sungyeol smiling at you.

SY: Hi.

You: Sungyeol. What are you doing here?

SY: obviously, reading books like you.

You: so you’re also interested with books?

SY: A bit. I got bored that’s why I came here.

You: I see.

SY: you. Why did you come here aside from you want to read some books?

You: you won’t believe my reason.

SY: really? What’s your reason?

You: I came here because.. *sigh*

SY: because?

You: it’s just that. I want to get away with … the awkwardness at home.

SY: awkwardness? Between you and L?

You didn’t answered instead you looked away.

Sungyeol looked down.

You: I’m sorry.

SY: for what?

You: for expressing what I feel at a wrong time and place.

SY: don’t mind that.

~5 minutes silence~

SY: JC.

You: hmm?

SY: can we have ice cream after this?

You: your treat?

SY: uhm. *doubting* okay.

You: yes!

You both laughed softly.

After reading books at the bookstore, you proceeded at the ice cream store.

SY: what flavor do you want?

You: uhm—chocolate will do.

SY: one chocolate flavor and vanilla with chocolate syrup on top. *he ordered*

Crew: right away sir.

After you ordered, you found a place to sit and eat the ice cream.

Sungyeol started a conversation.

SY: I didn’t see you at your hotel the other day

You: the other day?

SY: neh.

You: I was at the amusement park.

SY: really?

You: *nodded*

 SY: who’s with you?

You stopped scooping the ice cream and looked at him.

SY: is it L?

You didn’t respond and looked down.

SY: you had fun?

You; hmm. *nodded*

SY: that’s .. that’s great to hear.

You noticed him forcing himself to smile.

You felt bad seeing him like that.

You: *changed the topic* how’s your hang out with Janni?

SY: we’re still planning it.

You: I see.

SY: how did you know?

You: Janni told me.

Sungyeol nodded and looked down.

SY: can you share to me some moments you had with L the other day?

You: you want me to share?

SY: hmm. *nodded*

You: are you sure?

SY: neh.

You: you’ll not get-

SY: jealous? No, I wouldn’t. We treat each other friends right?

You: yeah, of course.

SY: can you start sharing?

You: okay.

Sungyeol was pretending that he’s interested. He just wants to know what happened to you and L during your stay at the amusement park.  He’s pretending that he’s not jealous but he is. He just doesn’t want you to notice it.

You started sharing.

You: L brought me at the amusement park and I don’t know the reason why he did that. He’s leaving me behind so I complained. He suddenly held my hand and we continued walking.

SY: how tight does he hold your hand? *asked seriously*

You: normal.

Sungyeol let out a jealous eyes.

SY: then?

You: then someone offered us a promo.

SY: what promo?

You: Love date promo.

SY: so you dated?

You: *nodded* at the amusement park’s hidden garden.

Sungyeol let out a jealous face.

You: there we explored the whole garden. He asked me to share some happenings at the beach.  After, we had a little misunderstanding or argument I guess. And *you stopped*

SY: and?

Sungyeol let out a jealous voice.

You: S-Sungyeol.

SY: after that, what happened?

You: *you stood up* let’s go home.

Sungyeol grabbed your hand.

SY: what happened next? *looking at the ground*

You: *looked at him and then looked down and let out a deep sigh* we’ve kissed.

Sungyeol slowly let go of your hand. He closed his eyes to hold back tears and hurts.

You’re still looking down.

He slowly stood up and faced you.

SY: you really had fun.

You slowly looked at him.

“I’ve only kissed you on your forehead.” He awfully said.

You covered you mouth and looked down again.

“Take care going home.” He said and slowly turned back.

He slowly, tiredly walked away.

You watched him disappear.

“Sungyeol.” You thought and tears fell on your face. “I’m sorry.” You thought.

You decided to go home after what happened.

~WHILE GOING HOME~

“I’ve shouldn’t told him the whole story. I knew he’ll get hurt.* you thought.

“His star.” You suddenly remembered the stars.

You looked at the sky and saw only one big star that is on the right.

“It disappeared.” You sadly thought while looking at the sky.

~FLASHBACK~

SY: JC.

You: hmm?

SY: look at those two big stars.

You: okay?

SY: the left one is mine and the right one is yours.

You: *looked at him*

SY: If it’s either mine or yours disappeared, it means one of us was hurt.

You: *still looking at him* and if that happens?

SY: and if that happens, we have to respond quickly so that our stars will come back at the sky.

You: *smiled at him*

SY: arasso?

You: arasso!

~END OF FLASHBACK~

You can’t respond to him because you know he’s not in the mood to talk to you.

“Sungyeol.” You sadly thought as tears fell on your cheeks.
