Hyukjae is a fan of Girls’ Generation. Who wouldn’t love the nine Barbie dolls of Korea? He loves them because they were very beautiful and has good songs in their albums. But, he wasn’t attracted to any of them. Poor him—not them. Hyukjae, even if he pushed his face near Tiffany’s legs and her thighs, he can bet all his savings that his thing will never go up. Trust me; Hyukjae is a man but not totally a man.

Yes. He was born with flat s, two balls and a sword that’s hiding under his pants, but the thing is, Hyukjae’s heart wasn’t a man. And not definitely a woman’s—is there also genders for hearts? He couldn’t put two in two together as he doesn’t have any clue as why he is feeling this way. This, this weird feeling that came hovering his senses and awaken his gay-ish heart alive, was when he met Donghae. Yes. That man who turned his fanboy image upside down.

He met Donghae in a concert. Obviously, he’s also a fan of Hyukjae’s girls’. To make the story short, during the hype of the concert where everybody was jumping hyperly, Donghae had accidentally stepped onto Hyukjae’s foot and when the latter was about to fall down, Donghae came and rescue him from being squished and stepped by other fans. When the concert ended, they got to know each other and blah, blah, blah and they separate ways after that. The End.

No, I guess it wouldn’t be the end. Something happened. And, it was supposedly the end because I need to watch Lee Minho’s new drama: Faith; Donghae—no, Hyukjae had purposedly done something to make this story longer.

Tsk. That flirt.

Hyukjae texted Donghae after he felt Donghae has something to do with his ‘identity problem’. Ah, you already know that Hyukjae and Donghae exchanged phone numbers before they separated on that fated night. It’s what people do these days anyways. When they meet someone on the road or anywhere and they finally got close all of a sudden you exchange numbers. Hello?! Isn’t it already the 21^st century? No?

So, moving on, they met, talk about things and stuffs. Things you do when you’re with someone you like—ehem! Hyukjae hadn’t thought about that part yet. But, he likes the idea of liking a guy anyway. He feels free just by being with Donghae. No worries. Not thinking about anything or even his favorite girl group. Just, Donghae.

Donghae. Donghae. Donghae.

Now, Hyukjae should stop thinking about him because I can barely watch and admire Minho’s character right now. This has to stop.

But, huh? Donghae has something on his sleeves? I wonder what that is. Well, then. I guess, I have to continue…

“Well---um, d-do you have that feeling…when, uh—“

“I couldn’t understand a word, Hyukjae.” Donghae put up a smile on his handsome face before taking a sip from his coffee. They met in a crowded coffee shop as it was pouring rain outside and people had to take shed to wait until the rain stops.

“Ah-ahahha…” Hyukjae rubbed the back of his head, shoving off the embarrassment. “I-I’m sorry. It’s just…I forgot what I had to say. Hehe…”

“Oh well, then I have something to say to you, Hyukjae.” Donghae said, looking dead serious at Hyukjae. And Hyukjae take it heavy. Thoughts starts rumbling down his mind, weighing a bit heavy for his brain to carry.

Donghae has something to say to me? He wouldn’t propose to me, is it? No, obviously he isn’t going to. We’re not into that romantic part yet. Well, is he going to ask me to go out with him then? No? Maybe? Seriously, Hyukjae! You have to get your mind straight!

“H-huh? To m-me?” Hyukjae pointed himself, confused.

“Yes. Well, you see…” Donghae started and Hyukjae’s heartbeat increased in high speed.

Ttung. Ttung. Ttung.

“I…uh, I’ve got two tickets for the, uh, the upcoming girl’s generation’s concert. You want to come with me? Do you already have a ticket, by chance?”

“M-me? I-uh, don’t have the ticket yet…and, um…y-yes. I would l-love to go w-with you..” Hyukjae answered shyly, not looking at Donghae’s face ‘cause he might get blush.

“Really? You will go with me? Thanks, Hyukjae. You’re a great friend!” Donghae stated and hug Hyukjae who’s sitting across him in a tight embrace. Hyukjae’s face, though happy that Donghae is hugging him right now and they will have a date on Snsd’s concert, Donghae’s last word echoes inside his head, hammering his brain onto his skull.

STUPID! See?! He doesn’t LIKE YOU! Expectation! Expectation! Expectation! It will make you go crazy! You shouldn’t have done that in the first place, Hyukjae. Your heart will soon tear apart! Believe you me!

“U-uh, Donghae?” Hyukjae said once he let go from Donghae’s hug.

“What is it, Hyukjae? Are you alright?” Donghae asked, worried.

“I-it stops raining…We should g-go.” Hyukjae said and starts walking out of the coffee shop without waiting for Donghae’s answer.

Donghae then shrugged his worry off because he saw Hyukjae seems to be down recently seeing his friend having dark circles around his eyes. He already forgot to ask him about that earlier though. Maybe, next time. He then exited the shop as well, following Hyukjae up and the rest of the evening was too quiet just like the thin drops of rain that’s falling from the sky.

And…I don’t think this story is going angst, my dear friends. It’s just Hyukjae is having his heart broken, of course, by Donghae right now. But the latter don’t know about that though.

So, Why not make Hyukjae happy? But not just anybody can make Hyukjae happy. Donghae must be a man and make Hyukjae happy, right? Now, let’s skip this part and press fast-forward…

And…STOP!

Here’s the night of the concert.

Boom! Boom ! Boom!

Fireworks filled the night sky. Fans started yelling as they enter the concert hall were nine beautiful ladies will hold their concert. The stadium then gets crowded as fans filled the whole place. Hyukjae and Donghae both were seated on the upper middle part of the concert ground. Donghae got a V.I.P one. Lucky guy. I wish I could also have one. J

Anyways, when the concert was about to start as the lights turned off, dimming the whole place. Fans then lighted up their pink light-sticks and waits for their idols to show up. Fans started cheering. It’s getting louder and louder by the minute. The whole place is getting intense as their most awaited idols will soon about to come out of their hiding places.

Everyone is super excited, but not Hyukjae and Donghae who seemed to have their own worlds not pretty much excited about the concert and around them was just simply awkward.

Why so?

“Hyukjae I—“

“Donghae there’s—“

They both paused as soon as they both speak in unison.

“Y-you go ahead.” Hyukjae started.

“I can’t seem to mind having awkward with you, Hyukjae. Did I do something wrong?” Donghae looks at Hyukjae intently even though he can’t see Hyukjae’s face much due to the darkness. But he can sense Hyukjae is trembling. He can feel it as he was beside him. Is it the air-con or something else then? He couldn’t seem to find the answer only Hyukjae can give him.

“N-no, Hae. You haven’t done anything wrong. I-it’s me…It’s me who’s wrong. I…I’ve done something bad and I don’t know if you’re gonna forgive me or not. It’s just that I—“

Then, the stage started to light up. The concert is now finally starting. Hyukjae’s mind went off after having face to face with Donghae who seems to be waiting for him to finish his sentence. But, the huge crowd began chanting louder, calling out their idols and when the nine girls finally appear, everybody went chaotic. The fans screams on top of their lungs and when Hyukjae was about to open his mouth to speak the words he intended to say, Girl’s Generation started singing their opening song.

“What did you say, Hyukkie?” Donghae asked, speaking louder as the whole stadium was filled with loud music and cheering from the fans.

“I SAID I LOVE YOU LEE DONGHAE!” Hyukjae screamed out loud on top of his lungs. With his eyes closed telling the whole world how much he loves Donghae, in front of everyone including his favorite idol group.

“You what? Hyukjae? I can’t seem to understand. This whole place is a mess—“

“Oh just shut up!” Hyukjae said and bravely did his best not to stutter.

“Huh?!” Donghae asks, still clueless to what Hyukjae is saying.

“OH! Forget it! Hyukjae! Just do it!” Hyukjae then bravely pulled Donghae’s face to him and finally extracted his, well; you can call it a plan, a five seconds plan.

Hyukjae kissed Donghae.

The latter was obviously shocked but then, listening to the background song, he finally gave in.

So, Does Donghae likes him back, then?

After everything is settled, you know, Hyukjae’s so-called ‘identity problem’ and Donghae then kissed him back; they went out of the concert hall, not finishing the concert. They went out with their hands intertwined, happiness filled the air and finally, love blooms for them both.

But, you see, here’s the thing. Donghae never said he likes Hyukjae back, well, vocally. Donghae hasn’t said he loves Hyukjae back, isn’t he?

So, Hyukjae stop taking another step.

“What’s wrong, Hyukkie? Is everything’s alright?” Donghae stop on his trance and asked, curious.

“Y-yep. Except for o-one thing though…” Hyukjae with his head bowed low said. Not taking any glances towards Donghae as his face beams red after saying his piece.

“What one thing are you saying, Hyukkie?”

“Y-you haven’t said y-you l-love m-me…yet.” Hyukjae’s face and neck becomes red all-over.

“O-oh, that…” Donghae then rub the back of his neck, smiling slyly. Hyukjae nodded in response to that.

“I LOVE LEE HYUKJAE~~~~~~!!!!!” Donghae screamed out loud, not minding the people who are walking around and stop to look at them with weird eyes.

Hyukjae, of course, Hyukjae had the shock of his life as Donghae had stated it without crazy music and screams from the fans. Donghae said it with confidence unlike him. But, he’s not embarrassed nor envy because Donghae’s a lot bolder and confident than him. In fact, he was proud because Donghae, his man loves him more than he could ever imagine. And that Donghae wasn’t shy to even say it out loud.

“Are you finally okay with that, Hyukjae?” Donghae then asked while he plastered a wide grin on his face.

“I’m good.” Hyukjae replied while nodding and has this gummy smile on his face. “Super good.”

A/N: I know. this is kinda creepy and weird. This was, well, inspired by ‘I Got a Boy’ which made me feel weird and frowning too. But, it was a good mash-up song, indeed. And of course, this was also inspired by LEE MINHO himself. ♥ Well, anyways, I only updated now because I don’t have the time to write and I am still contemplating between continuing my unfinished fics or not.
