A/N: I was inspired to write this because of Hyukjae's kid!pic posted on her blog by ifallelsefails. And before that, i don't know why i suddenly sing this song at work. I even asked my manager to search the lyrics for me. he-he. so, my eyes are falling down, falling down while writing this so please forgive me if it doesn't make any sense. My head is also throbbing. Please, enjoy. ♥

“Good morning, class!”

“Good morning, Mrs. Park!”

The class starts with the usual greetings from the teacher and with the students. It was a fine day at SJ Academy and inside the grade 1 class; most of the students were bouncing off their seats, excited for the lecture of the day while some were waiting for the bell to ring like Heechul who’s sitting at the second to the last seat at the corner of the room, busy looking at himself in the hand mirror he was holding and Kyuhyun who’s busy playing on his game console. Some were diligently listening to the teacher who was speaking at the moment, announcing what they will do today and some others like Hyukjae who had a bad morning because his mother waked him up very early, telling him Donghae was downstairs and waiting for him.

Hyukjae and Donghae were neighbors and best friends ever since they’re mothers carried them inside their mother’s wombs. They were too attached to each other and so very close that it is so hard for them to separate. They were inseparable as their friends say. But, in friendships, there are times when the other had to pop the awkward balloon in the air. Hyukjae woke up having enough of Donghae. Donghae had this attitude of getting along with people really well and of course, Hyukjae likes it but sometimes, it’s too much for him to take. He will always wake up early just to wake Hyukjae up because he knew his best friend is so hard to wake up. He will always barge in and out of Hyukjae’s house like he owns it too and Hyukjae’s parents allowed it. Donghae is bubbly while Hyukjae is not. Donghae likes to do things with Hyukjae but the latter is a ‘Killjoy’. Donghae is exactly the opposite of Hyukjae and no, Hyukjae doesn’t like it. In fact, he likes being with Donghae. It’s just sometimes, Donghae acts too clingy and too bossy which irritates and annoys him.

Well, to cut the story short, Hyukjae is in the bad mood because of Donghae. Period. So, now to make up for it, Donghae decided to make up for his dear best friend. He stood up from his seat that was just next to Hyukjae and whispered something to their teacher. He then took a sit after and cheekily smiled at Hyukjae who scoffs at him and snubs him afterwards.

“Okay, class. Do you know what today is? It’s Friday. And what do we do on Fridays?”

“We sing!” the class cheered in unison except for the annoyed Hyukjae who pouts the whole time.

“And, I think I have a great song for us to sing. But, I need a volunteer. Can anybody sing the song for the whole class to hear? Hyukjae?”

The teacher called Hyukjae but Hyukjae only shook his head and rested his chin on his palm while his elbow is on top of the desk. He then looks away after gesturing the teacher he won’t do it.

“Donghae. Do you like to sing a song today?”

The teacher then asked Donghae who excitedly nod and runs to the front and the teacher then gave him the lyric sheet.

“Is this fine, Donghae?”

The teacher asked.

“Yes, Mrs. Park. Thank you.”

Donghae replied.

Then, Mrs. Park went to the piano and started pressing the notes down and playing the song. Donghae then clear his throat before starting to sing the song.

‘A’ you’re adorable

Donghae took a step forward, going to Hyukjae’s seat. The latter wasn’t looking so he didn’t dare to see what Donghae was doing.

‘B’ you’re so beautiful

When Donghae took another step forward, he took his right hand to caress Hyukjae’s face and the latter got surprised at the sudden interaction. He made a look at Donghae and Donghae smile warmly at his best friend as a reply.

‘C’ you’re a cutie full of charms

Donghae sings and Hyukjae frowned at Donghae’s action. He suddenly had Goosebumps because of Donghae.

‘D’ you’re a darling and ‘E’ you’re exciting; ‘F’ you’re a feather in my arms.

Donghae then pulled Hyukjae out of his seat and hug his best friend tight, earning a hiss from Hyukjae who suddenly got squished by Donghae.

‘G’ you look good to me

Donghae then pulled Hyukjae meters away from his face and touch Hyukjae’s face with both of his hands.

‘H’ you’re so heavenly

Donghae sings at Hyukjae and the latter scoffs at his line.

‘I’ you’re the one I Idolize

Donghae sings the next line and Hyukjae had to comment on that.

“So, that’s why you’re in our house every day? Seriously, Hae. What has gotten into you?”

“Of course, I idolize you, Hyukkie. You’re my best friend. And, ‘J’ we’re like Jack and Jill’.”

Donghae replied.

‘K’ you’re kissable

Donghae hit the next line and kissed Hyukjae’s cheek with a sloppy and with a sound kiss.

‘L’ is the love light in your eyes

M, N, O, P (you could go on all day)

Donghae then grab Hyukjae’s hands and they went towards the center, still singing while the teacher is still playing the piano.

‘U’ made my life complete

Donghae then pointed his pointing finger at Hyukjae and Hyukjae had to roll his eyes at his best friend. A little, he shows a small smile that made Donghae even widen his lips in happiness.

‘V’ means you're *awf'lly sweet*

Donghae then kissed Hyukjae’s other cheek that made the latter slapped Donghae’s shoulder lightly.

it's fun to wander through
The alphabet with you
To tell (us what?) I mean (uh-huh?)
To tell you what you mean to me
(We love you alphabetically)

Donghae then finishes the song while the students joined them at the ending. They all cheered afterwards and they all clap for Donghae and Hyukjae’s performance.

“Thank you, Donghae and Hyukjae. You may take your seats now.”

Mrs. Park said and both Donghae and Hyukjae went back to their seats afterwards.

“So, Hyukkie. Am I forgiven now?”

Donghae asked with a know-it-all smile.

“Yes. But, don’t you ever do that again.”

Hyukjae sighed exasperatedly before giving Donghae one last glance before bowing his head down in embarrassment.

“I won’t promise Hyukkie ‘cause you seem to have liken it.”

Donghae teased.

“Am not!”

Hyukjae denied but it’s all over his red face. Donghae can see him through.

“Yes, you are.”

Donghae fight back, still teasing Hyukjae.

“You’re annoying!”

Hyukjae shouted and all of the students together with their teacher look at him questioningly.

“Yes, Hyukjae?” asked Mrs. Park.

“N-nothing.” Hyukjae replied embarrassingly. He then took a sit and glares at Donghae.

“You want me to sing again, Hyukkie?”

Donghae asked, smirking.

“No!” Hyukjae yelled once again and before he could do something about Donghae’s mouth, his best friend started to sing…again.
