Chapter 8 

          The following day Jungsu decided to go with some of the male guests on a little skiing trip arranged by the resort staff up the western end of the mountain.

          “Oppa what time will you be back?” I asked him as I gave him a long kiss in the lips. He chuckled before hugging me tight.

          “Maybe at around 5 or something.” He answered.

          “Yah be certain I don’t want to wait very long!” I complained.

          “Wait in our cabin dress up in something lacy and make the room romantic. Add candles just don’t burn the bed.” he teased.

          “Eish oppa your such a ert!” I said. “I love you!”

          “I love you more!” he said before going off to join the men. They were obviously teasing him when he got on the vehicle. I went back inside the hotel and joined the women.

           While the men went on this exclusive trip I and the rest of the women hanged out in the resort’s entertainment center. Tiffany and Jessica were also there. We drank tea and had a little party with games and some even volunteered to give prizes. You could say that it was our way killing the time while waiting for our husbands to return.

            “Fany it’s your turn.” I told her. We were having a little sharing session about our lives, normal girl stuff.

            “Oh.” She answered as if she was in a daze.

            “Fany you ok?” I asked while the rest of the women with me were also worried about her. She was turning a bit pale.

            “Oh its nothing.” She said “It’s just that I heard from the news earlier that there was a blizzard coming. I am just getting a little anxious plus it is already nearing sunset shouldn’t the guys be back by now?” She said while looking out at the window.

Upon hearing her words I suddenly felt worried. If a storm was coming then it wasn’t good! They could get trapped in the mountain. An hour ticked by fast and we were still waiting. The women started to panic.

            “My husband said that they would be home by 6:00 pm.” Mrs. Trent said.

            I was feeling nauseous. I took out my phone and tried to contact Jungsu. I had called him earlier in the day at around 12 pm. He said that signal might not work when they reached the top of the mountain so I couldn’t call him again. There was no answer from the other line.

            “Why is he not picking up?!” I said aloud.

All the other women looked at me then took out their phones. One by one we tried to contact their husbands but it all yielded the same results. The phone would just ring and at some point it wouldn’t ring at all.

            “This is impossible since the phones are ringing it means that they have gone down already!” Mrs. Habersham blurted out.
