I wrote this chapter last night. It's sad that we its coming to an end but anyway it's been fun. Here's chapter 23 for you guys. I decided to do a triple update. XD

Chapter 23

Hunt Down

            I was lying down in a field of white flowers. The air smelled wonderful. The sky was clear and blue. I stared up as I saw clumps of clouds passing by. I tried to make out the shapes they made. I was wearing a cute demin blue dress, lace trimmed its edges, it was like a tank top with spaghetti straps in the upper part while the lower ballooned into a nice skirt. The underskirt was made of lace and it felt very comfortable.

            I sat up and felt the cool breeze around me. I smiled and knew that I was dreaming. There was no way this was real. Firstly because the flowers looked different like they could not be found on earth and second because it was autumn now, the skies look like the skies in summer. I decided to just enjoy it. The wind felt really real and it had been a long time since I had a good dream.

            I looked towards my left and saw that there was a space in the grass, like someone had once laid down on them. I traced my hands around the dent and I realized that I could be a space where a man once laid on. As I ran my hands across the grass Jungsu’s face suddenly popped into my head. Tears began to fall.

            “Please don’t turn this into a nightmare.” I begged.

            The shape looked exactly like my husband’s silhouette. It was a wicked reminder that he was once here beside me, but now all that was left was an empty space. I started to cry, but then the wind blew across my face and the sweet smell of the flowers over powered me.

            I looked up and saw a child maybe around 7 looking at me with kind eyes. As the child got nearer I realized that the child was a boy. I couldn’t make out his face from afar. He slowly walked towards me and I gasped, when I finally saw his face.

            “Jungsu-oppa!” I cried but the child merely smiled. I was about to stand up and run towards him. He was so cute as a child. He started to run towards me. I stood up and he hugged me close. He came up to my belly button.

            I his hair as he hugged me close. I went down to his eye level and he smiled. Just like he always did. His dimples showed but I was surprised when I saw two dimples. Wait Jungsu-oppa only had one dimple. Who was this child then?

            “Mama don’t cry.” He said to me and I was dumbfounded.

            “Everything’s going to be fine.” He said as he hugged me. I started to cry as I hugged him closer.

            I woke up from my dream and found Sunny leaning over me as she shook me violently. I opened my eyes and stared at the ceiling. I was still crying.

            “You almost gave me a heart attack!” Sunny yelled at me.

            “What happened?” I asked softly.

            “You were having a nightmare!” She told me.

            How was that a nightmare? I placed my hand over my stomach, and I was surprised when a sweeping coldness came in contact with my hand.

            “Taeng?” Sunny asked me.

            “Hmm? I’m fine Sunny-ah, don’t worry.” I told her. She relaxed and went back to sleeping. The coldness in my stomach seemed to be contracting and retracting. Like a beating heart.

            “You’re telling everything is going to be fine? Am I right baby?” I asked our unborn child in my mind. He seemed to have heard me because the coldness spread as far as my chest then retracted back to my belly button.

            I thought of how my husband and I had met the first time. I replayed the scenes I remembered in my head for our baby to see. I narrated the events as I replayed a scene one at a time. My baby responded with the coldness he emitted. I fell asleep afterwards. I dreamt of our first meeting in front of a shop not far from town.

5 years ago

            I was passing by some of the shops in hopes of finding a perfect present for my family. It was the December 24th and I was doing my last minute Christmas shopping. I groaned when I realized that most of the shops were closed.

            “Drat! I brought this upon myself.” I said in my mind.

            I spotted an open shop. I raced across the street in a hurry and I was almost hit by a passing car. I was lucky I missed it by inches, clumsy me as usual. I regained my breath for a few moments before cautiously crossing the street. I looked back and forth numerous times.

            I entered the store and was a bit amused when I realized that it was a toy store. Well I had no choice but to buy my presents here. I saw a piglet stuff toy and realized that it would be a good gift for my cousin Sunny since she liked the color pink. I walked a further into the store and saw a Fiona stuff toy. I giggled at the thought of giving it to my cousin Hyoyeon.

            “Should I get it for her?” I asked myself. She would kill me I thought, but
