Two more months passed and the horrible relationship between Luhan and I didn't get better. Whenever I interacted with him, he would no longer look at me in the eye. There was no more sadness inside his gaze when he was upset, and his smile changed. Luhan was slowly becoming a different person.

While Luhan turned into a piece of ice, Sehun and I warmed up. We hung out often during school, and I went to his place several times with Mina to study and work on projects. But none of us ever talked about what happened when Sehun asked me out. I was starting to be afraid that Sehun didn't like me anymore since my feelings for him was returning.

It was the beginning of December, and the weather in Seoul had dropped quite a lot. It snowed last night and the streets, the lawns, and the buildings were covered in a thin layer of white. Today was Saturday and I had my entire day planned out. Little did I know, Sehun's best friends, Suho, Kai, and Baekhyun were into gaming. 

There was a new PC game called Life of Rome being released today, it was an online mass multiplayer game, and the trio had their eyes on it. We were going to go to the mall and spend our day there.

I woke up early in the morning and showered. To my surprise, Luhan was also awake and walking around. Just like in the past two months, we silently passed by each other. I then got dressed and ate breakfast. My mom woke up early just to cook for me since I told her that I was going out today. 

After I left, I headed to Mina's house and picked her up. The two of us took the bus together and arrived at the mall. As we headed to the entrance, the boys were already there. When they saw us approach, Kai waved and Mina smiled and waved back. I noticed that Sehun was wearing a white fluffy scarf that wrapped around his neck. He looked absolutely adorable!

"Hi people, you guys are early, wow," I said and walked up to the boys.

Suho smiled egoistically, "Of course it was because of me, I always have to baby sit them."

"The grandpa is talking again," said Baekhyun who playfully punched Suho on his shoulder. I smiled at their friendly actions.

Sehun laughed and turned to me, "Don't mind their idiocy please, ha ha, let's have fun today okay?" 

"Definitely, and don't worry about the guys, I'm used to it by now," I replied with a chuckle.

Exactly like we had planned, the boys headed to the video game store first, Mina and I tagged along. Although I wasn't much of a gamer, a lot of anime games caught my eyes and I examined them closely while the boys got in line for their PC game. But when I took a small glance at the door, I almost fell on my . I believed this saying by then: Enemies often come cross each other's path.

It was them, Xiumin, Lay, Chen, Tao, and of course, Luhan. I immediately grabbed Mina by her arm and dragged her behind a self before pointing to the incoming boys. She looked over and almost gasped as well. The two of us watched as they headed to the line, and seeing our friends. Sehun was the first one to notice them coming, his expression tensed up and he quickly nudged the trio. Xiumin's group too, stopped in their paths and looked at them.

"Long time no see, how's it going lately?" Xiumin spoke up and looked at Sehun.

Before Sehun could reply, Kai butted in. "What are you guys doing here? And why is Luhan hanging out with them?" He asked and regarded them in disgust as well as confusion.

"I see you are lively again eh? Did your arm completely heal yet?" Tao questioned tauntingly and Kai scoffed. During the summer, when we first encountered these boys, Kai's arm was fractured when they got in a fight. It was still something that we kept in mind and hated Tao for.

The boys growled at each other, and the atmosphere in the store darkened. Mina and I watched the from our hiding spot, we stay silent. 

"Luhan, I like your hair color, pink looks nice on you... So, why are you with them?" Baekhyun looked at Luhan and asked.

Luhan glared at him. "Thanks man, I like my hair too. Is it wrong for me to be with my friends?" Luhan questioned back.

Baekhyun seemed speechless for a moment before he spoke again, "Okay then... but I thought you are on our side? You can't possibly associate yourself with them."

"I can't associate myself with you," Luhan replied coldly. 

"What did you just say?" Baekhyun threatened.

"Why don't you just be quiet and leave me to be? Are you my mother? I don't think so," Luhan shot back.

"Sure I'm not, but if your mother saw what you've become, she'll be ashamed," Baekhyun said and scoffed. 

"My mother is dead, you ," Luhan exclaimed.

I felt my heart shatter. That was it, I was going out there and to stop this ridiculous and pointless fight. As I walked out from the aisle and headed closer, Lay said something which provoked Kai as well. The Baekhyun and Kai was immediately pissed at their words and proceeded to start a fight. Baekhyun shoved Lay and caused the boy to stumble back, crashing into Xiumin and Tao. Then, the fight began.

I ran toward the boys with Mina following behind me. Luhan and Baekhyun was in quite a big argument now, I tried to stop them. Sehun and Suho tried to talkt things down while Xiumin watched from side with a cruel smile on his face.

When I tried to stop Luhan and Baekhyun, everything played in slow motion. My mind panicked when I noticed the fist Baekhyun made and watched it as it swung. I jumped in between them and knowing that Baekhyun was in the middle of punching Luhan. When I suddenly got in between, I took the blow and felt the pressure against my cheek. 

When the fist came into contact with my face, I heard my jaw crack a little and felt the force that vibrated my face. I was shaken at first and my mind went blank.

"I'm sorry Mi-hyun! Oh my god, are you alright?" Baekhyun quickly apologized and helped me stand still.

"I'm okay, I'm okay," I said and nodded. The salty and metallic taste of blood invaded my mouth and dripped from my nose. Mina saw me and quickly came to me with a napkin in her hand. I grabbed it from her and held it firmly on my nose.

When I looked up at Luhan, the look of shock filled his face followed by guilt. Sehun and the others also came to me. After all this drama, we were kicked out from the store. I couldn't believe it, it happened again, this is my second time being kicked out from a shop because of Xiumin and people. 

Suho quickly checked to see if my nose was broken. Thank god it wasn't. The people who were responsible for this crime stood away in the distance, watching us. I looked over and send death glares to Luhan who just turned his head away. Later, they took their leave.

After this drama, Kai, Baekhyun and Suho still wanted to buy their game, so they went back to the game store. Mina accompanied them because she apparently wanted 'to keep them out of trouble'. But I had a feeling she was leaving me with Sehun on purpose. 

When them back into the line to buy their game, Sehun decided to walk around with me. "Where do you want to go Mi-hyun?" He asked gently.

"I feel like going outside for a moment to cool my head," I said. 

"I think that's a good idea. But wait for me, I'll be right back," Sehun said and headed to a coffee shop near where we sat. When the boy came back, he help two small cups of warm drink in his hand and passed one to me.

"Thank you, what is it?" I asked and proceeded to open it.

"It's hot chocolate, it's pretty cold outside, so I thought we should get something nice and warm," Sehun said. I smiled at his words. He was such a considerate friend to have. 

The two of us went outside and stood near the front entrance. There were already Christmas ornaments hung on the street lights and the bald branches of trees. There were bells and large bows around the entrance of the mall. I couldn't believe that it was already December...

We watched as people passed by. My bleeding had stopped by then and I threw the tissue paper away before taking out some wipes to clean my face. The winter air was cold and refreshing, I instantly felt a lot better. My head stopped pounding and there was no pain.

Sehun looked at me as I sipped the warm drink. I looked back at him. "What are you looking at?" I asked and felt slightly nervous under his gaze.

"Your face," he replied with a smile.

"What's wrong with my face? Is it dirty?" I quickly asked and touched my face, I winced as it hurt.

Sehun quickly took my hand and pulled it away from my face, but after he did so, he didn't let go. "You shouldn't touch it Mi-hyun, it's starting to swell a little."

"I know, I feel the swelling on my lips already... I must look terrible right now," I said jokingly and let out a laugh.

Sehun's warm hand tightened a little bit around mine, I looked at him. "I think you are beautiful, Mi-hyun."

As soon as he finished his sentence, I felt my entire body starting to burn and my heart thumped in my chest. I didn't know what to say and avoided his gaze. "T-thank you..."

"Mi-hyun, why are you turning pink?" Sehun asked teasingly. 

"I-I don't know, I guess it's kind of cold out here. Let's go back and find Mina and the idiot trio," I said nervously and dragged Sehun back into the mall. He chuckled and followed me.

The rest of the day went by peacefully. We hung out around the mall and ate yummy food. I noticed some sparks between Mina and Kai, who literally flirted for the entire day. I had loads of fun today. Before we headed home, Suho rounded us up and discussed about the the Christmas celebrations we should plan for. 

There was a school dance on Christmas night, and everyone was welcome to go. We planned to go to the dance first and have a party later that night. The location was still undetermined. 

As we talked and laughed, I already began to look forward to spending Christmas with my wonderful and amazing friends. But, What about Luhan? He will probably be with Xiumin and people... Away from me, away from everyone. I sighed and decided not to think about that boy. He needed to figure things out for himself.

Mina and I took the bus home together. During the ride, she talked about how amazing Kai was, how funny he was, and how handsome he was. I was able to see it clearly now, she was totally falling for him. Although Kai could be a bit of a flirt, but I know deep down, he was a nice and loyal person.

With Christmas heading my way, I needed to prepare for everything that was about to come.
