The past two days had gone by in peace. I went to work everyday with Luhan, and he picked me up everyday. After dinner was over, I headed back to my room and tried to relax by watching some K-pop variety shows. Watching my idols was good times, but it could have been better if Luhan wasn't bothering me.

"What are you looking at?" Luhan asked as he curled up on my bed, poking at me while I tried to watch Super Junior's interview. I shuffled away from him and sat on the end of the bed. Luhan rolled over next to me and snuggled up against my back.

Annoyed by his touchy behavior, I tried to shoo him away, "Luhan, can't you go somewhere else? I'm trying to watch something here!" I said without looking at him and gave him a little shove.

He sat up and looked at the screen too, after a while, he sighed and backed away. "Mi-hyun, I don't get it, what's so great about those people?" He questioned.

I paused the video and turned to him. "They are my idols. They are handsome, talented, and whenever I feel down, they make me laugh. They are gods, okay?" I said and a smile crept upon my lips as I thought about how good Donghae looked in the drama 'Skip Beat'.

Luhan scoffed, "Gods? Those people who get plastic surgery and rub BB cream on their fake face? No offense, but they are just idiot who work like dogs for their company to make money that doesn't even go to their pockets."

I glared at him, "Alright, if you think that way, then I won't argue, but if you don't like it, just shut up and leave me alone, alright?" I said coldly and resumed and video. What was his problem?

Luhan didn't shut up like I told him to though, he continued talking over the video. "Just what do you see in them? You have such a foul taste in guys."

I was about to burst in anger, what did that stupid boy want? Sitting up straighter, I turned and glared at Luhan. "This is non of your business. As foul as my taste may be, my type will never be someone like you." As soon as those words left my mouth, I felt bad for saying it, but I kept my cool.

He was dazed for a second, but a bitter smile returned to his face, "So your taste is someone like Sehun?"

I froze for a second as my brain tried to process a rhetorical answer. I never told anyone about Sehun's proposal to me yet. Well, it wasn't exactly a proposal, more like an accident. Now that I think about it, was Sehun my type? With no good comeback to Luhan's question, I looked away, "Shut up."

He smirked, "You can't shut a direction, Mi-hyun."

I growled at him, "Go away. What's your problem right now?" I asked.

"Nothing at all," he lied. A mix of emotions flashed across his eyes, he hopped off my bed and walked out of my room.

I turned my attention back to my SuJu boys, but this time, I couldn't focus. My short conversation with my brother played over and over again in my mind. I felt very bad for saying such harsh things to him. But overall, the most thought provoking part of our conversation was his question, was Sehun my type?

That night was awfully quiet without Luhan bothering me. Was he mad at me? Bed time was extra early since I didn't feel like surfing the internet anymore after our little argument. Laying on my bed, I stared at the ceiling and thought about my life. School would be once again bt starting in a couple of weeks. I was not looking forward to it at all.

Mina should be coming back tomorrow... Man , she had it easy being on a long trip...

Luhan avoided me all morning, the only time I saw him out from his room was for breakfast. He was silent and when I tried to greet him, he nodded and avoided my eyes. Luhan had no work on Thursday, so I was alone on my trip to the cafe I worked at, the famous Yehet Cafe.

"Thank you for your time at the Yehet cafe! Your total for today's food will be $13.99!" I smiled brightly and held the clipboard in hand. The two ladies smiled back and handed me $14.00 with a 2 dollar tip before standing up to leave.

Today was my fourth day working here. Everything was sailing smooth for me as I began to recieve more acknowledgements from the customers. After clearing the table, I washed my hands in the kitchen sink and waited for other customers to finish.

Chanyeol was on his lunch break since we were the only working employees in the summer, my break would be after Chanyeol's. Seeing that there wasn't any work at the moment, I went to the staff room and found Chanyeol looking at his phone while munching on a sandwich. He noticed my presence and looked up.

"Hey Mi-hyun, not busy right now?" Chanyeol asked after swallowing a mouthful of food.

"Not really, just waiting for someone to finish. What are you doing?" I asked.

"Texting my friend Kyungsoo, but he just left for vocal lessons. Wanna switch now? I'm done eating, you can take you break." Chanyeol offered with a friendly smile.

I shook my head, "You still have 20 more minutes. Relax and enjoy your time, I'll take care of the customers for now," I replied.

"You are such a hardworking and dedicated girl," Chanyeol said and placed his phone on the table. "I'm done, I'll help you."

"But you still have some free time," I insisted.

He grinned, "It's my free time, and I want to spend it helping you with the work," He said.

I looked at him, "But there is no work right now."

He laughed and stood up to grabbed my hand. I was surprised by his actions at first, but I just smiled and let his big hand grip around mine. He dragged me to the front and immediately, a customer was finished and dinged the bell.

Chanyeol glanced at me, "And you were saying there wasn't work?" I just shook my head and quickly hurried to the table. Before I finished with this table, another bell dinged and Chanyeol went over to the other table. I looked at him as he worked during his lunch break, he caught my gaze and grinned back.

When it was time for my lunch break, I retreated back to the staff room and settled down on a comfy little couch in the corner of the room. Taking out the lunch box my mom packed for me, I heated it and enjoyed my hot meal. Right after I finished eating, I quickly returned to work to help Chanyeol out and return the favor.

Luhan stayed in bed late this morning. He didn't want to face Mi-hyun yet, her words from yesterday had a great impact on him. It made him question his high self esteem. He knew he was handsome and adorable, all the other girls think so too, except for Mi-hyun. It seemed like she had never noticed his pretty face, or find him cute when he tried hard to show his affection towards her. Just what was he doing wrong? Luhan was confused, he didn't know which direction to go anymore. What did Sehun have that he was lacking?

He avoided Mi-hyun all morning until she left for work at the cafe. Laying on his bed again, he remembered Mina was coming back today. He needed someone to talk to. Taking out his phone, he called Mina and hoped that she would answer. After a couple of beeps, she picked up.

"Hello?"

Luhan inhaled a deep breath, "Mina, are you home yet?" He asked.

"Yep, just got here this morning. What business do you have with me, Luhan? Shouldn't you be with Mi-hyun?" She teased and giggled.

Luhan frowned, "No, she's at work. I want to talk to you, are you free right now?"

There was a pause, then Mina's cheerful voice replied, "Uh yes, I am."

"Great, I'll go pick you up, then we could hang out," Luhan said.

"Alright."

"See you in 10 minutes."

Luhan got dressed and washed up before heading out. Mr and Mrs. Rim were both at work, so the house was empty. Luhan left and headed for Mina's place which was a few blocks away.

The hot summer sun burned his eyes, Luhan walked down the streets and watched people and cars pass by on the road. Finally, he arrived and Mina's house. Stepping up the porch steps, he hesitantly rang the door bell. He hadn't been to Mina's before, except when Mi-hyun had to drop off some math notes once. He hoped that this was the right place.

After a moment, the door clicked open and Mina's head poked out. "Hey Luhan, do you want to come in?" She asked.

Luhan shook his head, "No, it's alright. I don't want to bother your family since you guys just got back," he said politely.

"Yeah, my parents are sleeping like pigs right now. Let's go out," she said casually.

The two strolled down the busy afternoon street. They got slushy and stopped at a grass field where a couple of trees stood which provided some decent shade. They sat down under the protection from the sun and chatted.

"Mina, you got tanned," Luhan said after studying Mina's face.

"Thanks, I actually wanted to tan," she replied.

"Oh, really? Then congratulations," Luhan grinned.

Mina looked away, "So, what did you want to talk about? Don't ask me out please, I already have someone I like," she joked.

Luhan laughed, "No worries, you are not my type," He replied and looked at her. "Who do you like?" He asked.

Mina gave him a little punch on his arm, "Don't ask that you idiot, this is girl's business."

"Alright alright," Luhan held his hand up defensively.

Mina smiled, "What did you want to talk about?"

Luhan became quiet for a few seconds as he tried to process his words before speaking. "So, I had a little fight with Mi-hyun last night... And she got really mad at me..." He explained quietly.

Mina looked at him, "Are you having trouble with apologizing? Or was it her fault in the first place?" She asked.

"It was actually my fault, I don't know what's gotten into me, I was being a jerk... I said some nasty things about her idols and the fight started after that," Luhan said and massaged the bridge of his nose.

"Oh, so you want her to forgive you?" Mina asked, taking another sip of her slushy.

"Yeah, and I have another question," Luhan said.

"What is it?"

"When we had the fight, Mi-hyun said she'll never like someone like me..." Luhan said.

"Well, what kind of like do you think she meant? Wanna-make-out-with-you like, or like, as in a friend?"

Luhan sighed, "I have no clue... But I'm still depressed either way..."

"Cheer up Lulu, I'm sure Mi-hyun didn't mean what she said, she was probably just angry."

"Yeah, so angry that she accidentally let the truth spill out..." Luhan said darkly.

Mina shook her head, "Don't worry Luhan. Even if she doesn't think about you that way. It's normal. I mean that's probably how all sibling relationships work, right? It's normal for you two to fight."

Luhan looked dazed for a second, "Oh, really..." He turned away. Mina patted his back. With a faraway look in his eyes, he opened his mouth to speak again. "So, Mina, do you know what Mi-hyun's type may be?"  

She raised an eyebrow at that particular question, as she studied him more, she began to understand. "Mi-hyun's type... Well, from what I've seen so far, she might be interested in an older boy who is responsible, caring, nice, and makes her feel secure. He has to be popular with people, and of course, easy to be around," Mina said after a while of consideration.

That was the moment when Luhan's self reflection began.

He was deep in thought for a moment, and soon stopped when he realized he didn't fit in any of the characterizations Mina gave. He sighed gravely and pushed his bangs out of his eyes. Sadness and disappointment filled his heart.

"Luhan... could it be that you have feelings for-"

"Thanks for your time Mina, do you want to come with me to visit Mi-hyun at the cafe she works at?" Luhan interrupted her with a question.

Mina looked at him with a grin on her face, "Aright, let's go."

I worked and worked and worked and worked hard all day. Just when I thought the week would end peacefully, it didn't. Some morons came and ruined it, again. It was them, yep, you know who I'm talking about.

"Hey, it's you again!" The dimpled one exclaimed as they walked into the shop. Chanyeol immediately came up beside me.

The tall one looked around, "Your boyfriend isn't here today eh?" He asked with a smirk.

I clenched my teeth, "Welcome to Yehet Cafe, please have a seat please." I tried to speak as sweetly as possible.

The four of them sat and ordered food, to my surprise, they didn't mess around again. As they ate, I felt stares burning to the back of my head. I served nervously alongside Chanyeol.

"Excuse me!" The cute one rang the bell and I hurried over.

"What do you need?" I asked.

"Can I get another slice of that fudge please?" To my surprise, he spoke with manner this time.

"Coming right up," I replied and left.

He was staring at me weirdly when I returned with a little plate of fudge, his friends coughed unnaturally and looked away. I hesitantly walked over and placed the plate on the table.

"Here is your order, sir." Suddenly, the cute boy rose and smooched my cheek. I gasped in shock and jumped away in surprise. All of them burst out laughing. I stood there awkwardly and backed away when he grabbed my hand.

What. The. Hell?

I glared at him and pulled back my hand forcefully. His eyes opened wide as he clearly did not expect me to resist. I lowered myself to his level and placed my head next to his.

"Stop screwing around. I won't forgive you if this happens again," I whispered into his ear and smiled coldly before leaving them. "Enjoy your food."
