[Third Person POV]

“Hyuna ah, some help please” you pleaded as you rushed about your room trying to find something nice to wear.

“Why should I help? You get a date with Luhan and leave me and my dreams in the gutter” she pouted as she swung her legs gently off of your bed.

“Hyuna ah, don’t be like that” you said stopping.

You went over and sat next to her on the bed as you gently draped your arm over her shoulder.

“I promise I’ll get a date for you with Lay sshi” you said with puppy dog eyes.

“Promise?” she asked with a small smile.

“I promise” you said nodding at her.

“Okay, fine pull out all your clothes” she instructed.

You went over and began pulling out all your clothes and throwing them on your bed.

“By the way it’s not a date, Luhan oppa said that is was only as friends” you said.

Hyuna let out a sigh and looked at you with disapproval you turned and looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

“What?” you asked amused.

“Luhan oppa this, Luhan oppa that. You know ever since you’ve come back from the photo shoot you’ve been in dream land almost every ten minutes” Hyuna said as she put a shirt up against you.

“I don’t think so” you said looking at the shirt.

“I think so” Hyuna said finally.

“Can we argue about this some other time. I need to get dressed and then go, it would be bad if I kept Luhan oppa waiting” you said.

*Aish, there she goes again with the Luhan oppa thing*
Hyuna let out a sigh and threw you a pair of black skinny jeans. You looked in the mirror and smiled.

“What about a shirt?” you asked Hyuna.

She threw you a light purple long sleeved shirt and laid on your bed with another sigh. You looked at the shirt, it was pretty with a lot of gemstones on it [imagine that you know what I‘m talking about] You went into the bathroom and chucked the shirt on, sliding up the sleeves just to give it a more casual look. After that you slipped on your black ballet flats and smiled confidently into the mirror. As you stepped out you watched Hyuna as she made funny faces at the wall. You laughed and shook her gently.

“What do you think?” you asked with a little twirl.

“Are you sure it’s not meant to be formal?” Hyuna asked again.

“I don’t know, I never asked” you said.

“Aish, well better safe than sorry, wear this” she threw you a black knee length frilly skirt and you quickly ducked into your bathroom to change.

“What about now?” you asked stepping out.

“Perfect” she replied with a huge grin.

“Here” she threw you a small purse and you hugged her.

“Thanks Hyuna ah” you said.

“Have fun” she said.

“You’re not going to walk me out?” you asked.

“Nope, I will be on the internet and stalking Lay sshi” she said with a creepy laugh.

“Suit yourself then” you said with a smile as you walked out.

You closed the door to your apartment door and began walking to the elevator. You smiled as you passed a security guard making his rounds.

“Afternoon ~~~~ sshi, you’re looking good today” he said with a wink.

“Thankyou” you replied.

When you stepped out of the apartment building you called for a cab and told the driver where you were going. After about ten minutes the taxi driver pulled up at the little ice cream store, you thanked him, paid him and got out. As you stepped onto the street you looked straight at the little ice cream store. You couldn’t see Luhan anywhere. You pulled out your phone and looked at the time. It was four forty-five. You still had fifteen minutes before Luhan would be here.
*A small snack wouldn’t hurt right?*
You shrugged and skipped happily into the ice cream store, maybe it was the fact that you were going to see Luhan soon, but for some reason you couldn’t get the giddy smile off your face as you studied the ice cream behind the cabinet.

“Can I help you?” a voice asked.

You looked up and smiled as the guy behind the counter smiled.

“I’m just looking for now” you said.

The guy nodded and then went back to serving those behind you. As you looked up again you suddenly couldn’t see anything, it took you two seconds to realise that there was a hand covering your eyes.

“Guess who?” the velvet voice asked.

You shivered slightly as his breath tickled your neck and ear. You raised your hand and held onto his for a second and smiled. You could feel the coldness of the rings on his fingers as you touched each one of them.

“Luhan oppa?” you whispered.

The hand pulled away as you blinked until your vision was no longer blurry. You turned around quickly and saw Luhan’s angelic face giving you a small smile. He was dressed completely in black, you looked at him up and down and felt your heart beginning to beat faster. He was looking mysterious and it was HOT! You felt yourself blush slightly and he angled his head sideways and gave you a puzzled look.

“Is something wrong?” he asked.

“N… nothing” you whispered shaking your head.

“Let’s go then” he said finally.

He gave you a small smile and you both walked towards his car. You reached out and was just about to put your hand on the handle when Luhan’s hand pushed in front and opened the door for you. You looked up at him and he gestured for you to get in.

“Thanks oppa” you said with a smile.

You quickly put on your seatbelt and watched as Luhan made his way around the car and into his seat. You watched as Luhan got in and started the engine.

“Ready?” he asked.

You nodded and smiled back at him. As Luhan began driving you couldn’t help but study his delicate features. From the way his eyelashes gently stood to the way his nose was perfect and straight, not to mention the way his lips were turned up into a small smile.
*Wait, smile?*
You looked up at his eyes to see that he was looking at your from the corner of his eye. You turned away shyly, looking at the cars driving past.

“Is there something on my face?” Luhan asked with a smirk.

“N…no” you stuttered.

*Aish, how come he always makes me stutter like that?*
You cursed at yourself mentally and fidgeted with your purse.

“~~~~ ah, are you okay?” Luhan asked.

“Yeah, I’m fine” you said.

The rest of the way to the hotel was quiet. Luhan didn’t say much, keeping all his thoughts to himself. After about ten minutes Luhan pulled up outside a hotel. He got out and came over and opened the door for you. You smiled and got out. You looked around, there were a lot of people going into the hotel, most where high class celebrities. You watched as huge numbers of photographers began gathering around the entrance. You slowly made your way to the front door, but you felt a hand grab yours before you could step into the crowd.

“Not this way” Luhan whispered as he gave your hand a gentle tug.

You looked down at his hand in yours. It felt warm and you felt yourself blushing slightly as you followed behind him. After about another five minute walk you were standing outside a door marked ‘Emergency Fire Exit’
*What is up with this guy and fire exits?*
Luhan quietly opened the door and pulled you in.

“I didn’t scare you did I?” Luhan asked with a concerned look on his face.

“No, just surprised me that’s all” you answered, looking down at your hands.

“Sorry” Luhan quickly withdrew his hand out of yours and your hand quickly became cold without his warm touch.

“Let’s go” he instructed.

After climbing a couple of flights of stairs you both finally reached the party. It was very dark and the only lights was from the colourful balls of lights that were positioned around the room. Music was thumping out of some really big speakers and you found yourself not being able to hear your own thoughts.

“Amber ah!” you heard Luhan call.

A tomboyish girl came over and greeted Luhan amongst the noise.

“Luhan ah! I thought you weren’t coming” she yelled.

“I can’t not come! Kris invited me!” Luhan yelled back, leaning in closer so he could hear Amber.

“Who’s this? Your date?” Amber asked as she smiled at you.

“This is Pak ~~~~, she’s a photographer, and my friend ” Luhan answered.

“Hi!” Amber said with a wave.

“Hi” you whispered.

“Alright guys! Have fun!” Amber said waving.

Luhan waved back and smiled as he watched her disappear.

“Do you wanna dance?” Luhan asked looking at you.

“I don’t know how” you said softly.

“What? I can’t hear you speak louder!” Luhan said leaning in closer to you.

“I can’t dance” you yelled moving back slightly, his face was only inches away from yours.

Luhan nodded and smiled as he took hold of your wrist and dragged you away from the thumping speakers.

As you both walked out of the room, your ears rang, it was silent outside and you could hear yourself breathing again.

“Oppa, why are we out here?” you asked as Luhan let go of your wrist and walked next to you.

“I couldn’t hear you in there. Anyways, if we don’t dance then there is nothing to do in there” he explained.

“Anyways, I like it out here, where it’s just us” he paused and smiled at you angelically.

You blushed slightly and turned away from him.

“There is a nice café on the next floor. Do you want to join me?” Luhan asked hopefully.

“Sure” you nodded.

“So what would you say if I really was to ask you on a date?” Luhan said suddenly.

You could feel your heart suddenly start beating faster and faster.
*What was he trying to get at?*

“I… I”

Suddenly Luhan let out a small chuckle and looked at you with a huge grin on your face.

“It’s okay, I was only joking” he said.

“Oh” you felt your heart sink slightly and gave him a tight smile.

The two of you got into the elevator and Luhan pressed the number one. You waited patiently until you heard a small ding and the elevator doors slide open. The first thing you saw was a golden fountain with cupid standing on the top. You ran over excitedly and looked at the fountain. You peered in and saw all the coins in the fountain, you quickly pulled out one of your coins and made a wish before throwing it in.

“~~~~ ah, what did you wish for?” Luhan asked, from across the fountain.

“I don’t know” you lied.

“Aww, please tell me. Maybe I can help it come true” Luhan said pouting.

“I don’t think so” you said with a sweet smile.

Luhan began walking around so that he could stand next to you, but as soon as he took a step you took another step. Soon enough you found yourself playing a cat and mouse game with Luhan around the fountain.

“Oppa, stop chasing” you squealed as he grinned at you deviously.

“Stop running then” he said.

“But you’re creeping me out” you complained as you began moving about faster.

“Then tell me what you wished for” Luhan whined.

“But it’s a secret wish, I promise I’ll tell you one day” you pleaded.

Luhan suddenly stopped and folded his arms across his broad chest.

“Are you sure?”

“Sure” you said with a grin.

“Alright then, come on. Let’s go get a drink”

You both began walking towards the bar and you found yourself blushing madly and breathing heavily.
*Aish, stupid heart, calm down*
You took a few deep breaths and smiled when Luhan looked at you.

[Luhan POV]

Her smile was extremely amazing and I couldn’t help but want to look at her every second that I was with her. I could feel my heart beating fast as I watched her walking happily beside me. I really wanted to just pull her into my arms and ask her to be my girlfriend but I wasn’t sure if dating was something I wanted to do right now.

“~~~~ ah, what do you want to drink?” I asked as we both sat down on the stools.

“Orange juice?” she asked with a cute smile.

I smiled at her and waved for a bartender to come over.

“Two orange juices please”

The bartender nodded and proceeded to making our drinks.

“So how did our photos turn out?” I asked trying to make myself think professional thoughts.

“They looked good, now we just have to wait till they publish them. I don’t think it will be too long away” she explained with enthusiasm.

The bartender came over and handed us our drinks. ~~~~ began sipping on her drink eagerly. I gently put the straw into my mouth and began sipping too. I watched as her cheeks turned a pretty pink shade once she saw me staring at her. It must have made her uneasy because she stopped drinking and began pounding her straw madly into the orange juice and ice. I let out a small chuckle and felt a small ache knowing that it should never be anything more, but even if it was just a momentary happiness, it would be enough for me.

“I think manager hyung wants to have dinner with you” I said, playing with the condensation on my glass.

I heard ~~~~ choke slightly and then look at me. I laughed when I finally understood what she was so stunned about.

“Not like that, he wants us all to have dinner, as a thankyou to you for all your hard work” I explained.

“Oh…” ~~~~ giggled slightly and the sound of her sweet voice was all I heard as I watched her smile.

“I think he wants us to have the dinner in a couple of days time”

“Oh, I will see with my boss” she answered.

After we had both finished drinking ~~~~ reached into her purse and pulled out some money. I quickly snatched the money and purse and put it behind my back. She stared at me wide eyed and stood motionless, waiting for me to explain myself.

“A man never lets a lady pay for anything” I said proudly.

“But oppa, I can’t make you pay for it, it’s only orange juice” she whined as she began reaching around me and trying to grab her purse.

“Exactly it’s just orange juice, that’s not much me to pay for” I smiled deviously as I dodged her hands.

I quickly stuffed her purse into my back pocket and held my hands up.

“If you want it, you have to come get it”

She pouted and started walking slowly towards me, I stood still as she tried reaching around me.

“Oppa” she whined as her cheeks turned a beautiful shade of pink.

I looked down at her, she wasn’t very far from me, all I had to do was move my arms slightly and I could hold her in my arms. Aish, what am I thinking? I slapped myself mentally and shook my head to get rid of the thought.

“Sir are you still going to pay for your drinks?” I turned to see the bartender looking at me with a disapproving look.

I gave ~~~~ a tight smile and stalked up to the bar tender and pulled out my wallet. I slammed a $10 bill onto the table and made my way back over to ~~~~. She looked a little shock at my sudden outburst, but could you blame me? He interrupted our staring contest!

“Let’s go say bye to Amber, and then I’ll take you home”

~~~~ nodded and followed as we made our way to the party back up stairs. As I stepped into the elevator I felt my back pocket vibrate and I pulled out my phone.

I shook my head and replied.

~ Kris ah…
GET LOST!

I smiled satisfied with my reply and turned my attention back to ~~~~ who was fidgeting with her silver bracelet. She was so different from most girls that I had met, she was very down to earth, and extremely sweet, it was probably the only thing that had drawn me to her. Suddenly the ding of the elevator sounded and I found myself jumping slightly. ~~~~ let out a small giggle and skipped out the door. After we had said bye to Amber, which took a while, we made our way down the fire escape. We had one flight left when ~~~~ tripped on something and wavered.

“Omo”

I reached out and grabbed the closest part of her body, I wrapped my arm around her waist from behind and I heard her inhale deeply from the sudden contact. Her back was against my chest and I felt my heart beating rather fast. I looked down and saw that her hand was gripping tightly onto my arm.

“Thanks oppa” she breathed and steadied herself again.

“Umm.. No worries” I said quietly.

We both cleared our throats and the same time and began walking down the stairs again.

“That’s what happens when you don’t hold my hand” I reminded her to lighten up the awkward atmosphere.

~~~~ turned around and flashed me a small smile. I smiled back and then we both made our way back to my car. I opened the door for her as she got in and put her seatbelt on.

“Ready?” I asked as put my seatbelt on.

She nodded once and I started the engine. ~~~~ gave me the directions to her place and I got there in no time at all.

“Thanks for the ride oppa” she said as she got out.

“No worries” I said.

“I’ll see you later?”

“Yeah, I’ll need to talk to you about the dinner later anyway” I said.

She nodded and shut the door. I drove the car forward a little and watched ~~~~ as she walked away and into the building. I smiled and made my way back to the apartment. It was only later on when I parked in the parking bay that I realised something shiny was sitting on the passengers seat. It was ~~~~’s purse…
