[Suhun's pov]

  It was Friday evening. I was in the living room watching TV.

  Ahri was there too, but she was sitting, like, 2 meters away from me on one of the armchairs. She has been avoiding since the time I kissed her.

  You could even feel the awkwardness in the room.

 "Ahri.." I called for her, but she stood up and went to the kitchen without even acknowledging me.

  I stood up from the couch and went to the kitchen too. Ahri was waiting for the water to boil in the kettle on the stove while she was putting sugar in the cup on the kitchen counter.

 "Hey.." I called for her again and tapped her shoulder, but she didn't pay attention to me.

  I grunted, since I was starting to get annoyed, and went to the bedroom.

  it was 3.00a.m and I still couldn't fall asleep. I was bothered that Ahri was avoiding me. She didn't even sleep in the same room as me since the kiss.

  I grunted for the nth time and decided to go to the kitchen to drink some water.

  While I was in the kitchen, I heard the TV from the living room. When I finished drinking a whole glass of water, I went to check if Ahri was sleeping in the living room.

  When I entered the living room, I heard saw Ahri sitting on the couch just looking emptily at the TV screen. She looked like she was in deep thought. I took a seat beside her as quietly as I could and, lucky me, Ahri didn't notice me.

  I sat there for almost an hour watching TV, because I wasn't tired. I was watching an old episode of 'Gag Concert', even though it was a funny episode, I didn't laugh nor even smiled, when suddenly I felt weight on my shoulder. I looked to my right to find Ahri sleeping while her head was leaning on my shoulder. I smiled to myself and interwinded my fingers with hers and fell asleep without a problem.

[Ahri's pov]

  I was sitting in the living room in deep thought, the TV was just for the background noise. Why did he do that? What was he thinking? More importantly, was he jealous? No, why would he be jealous, he doesn't even have feelings for me nor will he have. Ahri, don't get too carried away.. I bitterly chuckled at myself. But why does my heart beat faster when Sehun is around? It can be that I have feelings for him.. Ahri get yourself together, you can't get ed over again.

  In the middle of my rant in my head I glanced at the clock hanging on the wall. My eyes widened as the clock showed 4.15a.m. Is Sehun asleep? Should I go to the bed? No-

  My thoughts got cut off when I looked at my left. Sehun was sitting next to me and watching TV. I couldn't help but admire Sehun's side profile. The light coming from the TV was enough to see the handsome features of his face. Not to mention, he was shirtless. Should I hate your habit of sleeping without a shirt? I chuckled lightly as I rolled my eyes.

  But giving a chance to him wouldn't hurt me.. Right? I took a last glance at Sehun before my eyes closed from tiredness.

  Can you not? I grunted when the doorbell wouldn't stop ringing. Then it stopped and my phone, that was on the couch beside me, started ringing.

  I picked it up and without opening my eyes, I swiped the 'answer' button.

 "Hello?"

 "Ahri, sweetie, did I wake you up?" I heard Mr. Oh's voice over the receiver.

 "No." I lied as I rubbed my eyes. I opened them and as I looked down at my lap, I saw Sehun's head. Oh, right... He was next to me when I fell asleep. But why is his head on my lap?

 "That's good then. Is Sehun near you? I called him, but he didn't answer." Mr. Oh said.

 "Yes, but he's sleeping. Can I ask why do you need him?" I asked.

 "That doesn't matter right now, but can you wake him up and open the door for me, because I'm in front of your house?"

 "Yes, of course. Just give me a minute." I said and ended the call.

  I put the phone on the coffee table in front of me. How do I wake him up? I have been avoiding him these past few days.. I thought as I was looking at Sehun.

  I had to wake him up that instant, so I started poking him.

 "Hey.." I still was poking him. "Sehun!" I raised my voice and Sehun started stirring in his sleep.

 "What?.." Sehun said in his y morning voice and turned to look at me. Suddenly I got the butterflies in my stomach. Ugh...

 "Get up. Your father is at the door." I pulled him up and stood up.

 "Wha- Why is he here?" Sehun asked confused.

 "I don't know. But you can ask him yourself." I said and went to open the door for Sehun's father.

 "Good morning." I greeted Mr. Oh with a small smile after I opened the front door and let him in.

 "Thank you, sweetie. Did you wake Sehun up?" Mr. Oh asked and at that moment Sehun came from the living room.

 "Dad, what are you doing here?" Sehun asked as he wrapped his arms around my waist from behind and rested his chin on my shoulder.

 "Yah!.." I hissed as I slightly slapped Sehun's arm. But Sehun didn't move an inch and just closed his eyes, because he was still sleepy. I wasn't angry. I was embarrassed because Sehun was acting like this in front of his father.

  Mr. Oh chuckled. "Sehun, I came here to say that you will have to go on a business trip to Hong Kong." He explained.

 "Why do I have to go?" Sehun whined like a little kid and buried his face in to the crock of my neck.

 "Because you are the heir. And I know how tou don't want to leave your home." Sehun's father said while looking at Sehun, but then he looked at me. Why is he looking at me like that? I looked at him strangely. "And you beautiful wife, but you have to come with me." He continued with a sly smile and the blood immediately rushed to my face. I could feel Sehun's eyes looking at my tomato red face.

  And with that Mr. Oh ordered the maid, who came with him, to pack Sehun's suitcase. When the maid went up the stairs to our room, Sehun's father went to the living room.

 "Go and get ready." I said as I pried Sehun's arms from my waist.

 "Finally, you talk to me like before. Don't avoid me, it bothers me." Sehun said as he was looking deeply into my eyes. I couldn't help but feel flustered. Why are you saying these things? My heart won't take it next time.

 "Okay, okay... Whatever. Go and get ready." I hid my giddiness and patted Sehun's chest and went to the living room.

  Mr. Oh was sitting on the couch comfortably when I walked into the living room.

 "Do you want anything to drink?" I asked him politely.

 "Can you get me a glass of water?"

 "Of course, I can." I slightly bowed to him and went to the kitchen.

  After I brought some water for Mr. Oh, we chatted a little bit. And then the topic changed.

 "So how is it going with Sehun?" Sehun's father asked.

 "It's good. We do get along, but we still argue sometimes." I answered. I am NOT mentioning the kiss.

 "I saw that you get along quite well." He added while wiggling his eyebrows. I blushed from my future father-in-law comment. Oh my God. Our parents are outrageous.

 "Okay, I'm ready." We heard Sehun's voice from the corridor. Nice timing, Sehun. I thought as me and Mr. Oh stood up and went to the front door.

  When we got there, Sehun was waiting for us while holding his suitcase, looking fancy in his suit. I looked over Sehun from head to toe after Mr. Oh patted Sehun's shoulder while whispering something to his ear and went to the car parked in our driveway.

 "I look good, don't I?" Sehun said cockly.

 "No, you don't. Don't be so cocky." I lied after I made a 'meh' face on purpose. Sehun just rolled his eyes as I sticked my tongue out at him just to annoy him.

 "I know your lying." He said with a smirk.

 "No one will know if I'm lying or not. Well, except for me." I shrugged my shoulders and flashed a playful smile.

 "Will you miss me?" Sehun asked as he immediately got serious. I caught me off guard, but I just took it as a joke.

 "No, I won't." I said jokingly, but Sehun looked disappointed. "By the way, how long will you be in Hong Kong?" I asked trying to change the topic.

 "We should come back after three days, so I'm going to make it on the talent show day, if you're wondering." Sehun responded, disappointment still visible in his voice and face.

 "That's good then. Okay, don't make your father wait too long." I said and Sehun opened the front door and took his suitcase to the car.

  His father was already in the car waiting for Sehun. The chafour opened the door for Sehun, but Sehun didn't get in the car.

  What the hell is he doing? I thought as I was waiting for them to leave while leaning on the door frame. Then Sehun turned to look at me. He was looking at me for too long and it was making me uncomfortable, so I mouthed 'what' to him.

  Suddenly, he jogged up to me.

 "What are you doing? Your father is waiting for you?" I slightly panicked when Sehun was in front of me not saying anything, just staring at me.

 "Sehun, stop staring at me. You're scaring me.."

  As I finished saying the last sentence, Sehun's lips lightly touched my left cheek.

  And then he ran off and hopped into the car, leaving me dumbfounded with a seriously red face.
