It still felt like a dream to him. Sitting here, eating and talking with Daehyun all felt too good to be true. Yet.. this was reality. This was really happening and Young Jae was loving every single second of it all. Who wouldn’t? Talking and dining with one’s crush was like a dream come true after all! Sure, there were plenty of other dreams that could be had, but this one was the most important for him.

During this lunch, or possibly dinner, Young Jae had learned a few things about Daehyun. First off, Daehyun was, indeed, pursuing a career as a singer. He had even been scouted several times already, but Daehyun hadn’t actually taken a hold of those opportunities. Daehyun had mentioned that there was something very important that he had to do before he advanced in his career. What that thing was though, Daehyun didn’t really say.

The second thing he found out was that Daehyun has a younger brother. His younger brother was currently in middle school, but despite the gap in their ages, the two got along well. That led to the third thing about Daehyun. Apparently, since his parents had been busy working at the time, Daehyun had spent the majority of his time taking care of his little brother. Ever since Daehyun’s little brother grew up though, Daehyun has apparently been wanting a child of his own for a while now.

Now, Young Jae would have gladly jumped at that opportunity. The only problem was that he didn’t necessarily have the right equipment to help Daehyun fulfill his wish. Was he going to admit that any time soon? Not a chance!

“Something I dislike the most? Hmm..” (DH) Why did he even ask that question? Sure, it would be useful with making sure to avoid getting on Daehyun’s bad side, but it could also be something too personal for Daehyun to share. Young Jae bit his bottom lip, waiting patiently for Daehyun to reply. Personal or not, Young Jae still wanted to know what it was. However, Daehyun only smiled as he wagged his finger. “It’s a secret, buuut.... if you really want to know, I’ll tell you one day.” (DH)

“When will that be?” (YJ) Daehyun picked up his drink before leaning forward. Resting his elbow on the table, Daehyun raised a single brow and smirked as he lifted his index finger from his cup and wagged it slowly.

“You’ll know soon enough. Patience, alright?” (DH) Daehyun leaned back in his seat before taking a sip of his drink. Young Jae kind of felt disappointed that Daehyun wouldn’t really tell him anything, but.. it was alright. Until Daehyun was ready to tell him, Young Jae would wait patiently. For now, it was probably best to drop it.

“Daehyun!” (EJ) Daehyun looked up, but judging from his expression, he seemed calm enough. Young Jae turned just in time to see Eunji walk up to the table and slap Daehyun yet again. Why did this girl need to continuously slap Daehyun? This was the third time that he’s seen Eunji slapping Daehyun and it was starting to become annoying. However, just by the tears welling up in Eunji’s eyes made Young Jae feel a bit.. guilty. “We haven’t even been broken up for two days and already you’re on a date with someone else?!” (EJ)

“What I do with my time is none of your concern.” (DH) Daehyun leaned back in his seat, turning his eyes back towards Young Jae. Eunji scoffed two or three times before turning to look at Young Jae. The two stared at one another, though, Eunji was more glaring than anything.

“YOU! You made Daehyun leave me, didn’t you?!” (EJ) Before Young Jae could even attempt to explain himself, Eunji picked up the nearby glass of water and splashed the contents within the glass mostly onto Young Jae’s face.Young Jae’s mouth hung agape from such a scene, barely able to keep his eyes open as the water slid down his face.

Daehyun instantly stood up, his patience for some reason having been spent in an instant as he slapped Eunji. Eunji stood in shock for a brief second before looking up at Daehyun, tears sliding down her face. “W-Why..?” (EJ)

“You’re being immature. What? She made me leave you? You don’t even know her and already you’re attacking her? She didn’t do anything to you and now I’m glad I left you!” (DH) Daehyun moved around the table, completely ignoring Eunji now as he bent down close to Young Jae. Picking up the nearby napkin, he began dabbing Young Jae’s face in an attempt to dry it without smearing his make up. “Are you alright? Do you want to go?” (DH)

“N-No... I.. I can just clean up in the restroom.” (YJ)

“Daehyun! You’re being unfair!” (EJ) Daehyun moved some of Young Jae’s hair from his face before taking a hold of Young Jae’s hand and putting the napkin inside. Closing Young Jae’s hand, he gave his hand a light pat before standing up and turning towards Eunji. Daehyun narrowed his eyelids as he took a hold of Eunji’s wrist and roughly pulled her towards the door. “D-Daehyun! What are you doing?!” (EJ)

Young Jae slowly turned to look at the two, watching as Daehyun pulled Eunji out of the restaurant. It seemed that Daehyun was scolding Eunji even more and despite Euni’s attempt to argue back, Daehyun wouldn’t listen. “Young Jae, come on! I have to fix your make up before Daehyun comes back.” (SY)

Young Jae turned to look at Sooyoung, whom had appeared out of nowhere. With a nod, Young Jae got up from his seat and followed Young Jae towards the restroom. He was about to step into the male’s restroom, but Sooyoung quickly stopped him and shook her head. “Did you forget you’re dressed as a girl?” (SY)

“But.. I-It’s inappropriate for me to go into the girl’s restroom!” (YJ)

“It can’t be helped! Anyway, you’re attracted to only Daehyun so it doesn’t matter! Hurry up!” (SY) Without letting Young Jae attempt to defend himself, Sooyoung quickly pushed the male into the restroom. Young Jae quickly made his way over into the corner, making sure to face the wall as he took a hold of the hem of his shirt. He didn’t want to be here. It felt wrong. He felt like he was invading every single woman’s privacy by being here, but as Sooyoung said.. it can’t be helped. “Turn towards me! I have to do your make up quickly.” (SY)

Slowly turning around, Young Jae nodded as he kept his gaze downwards. Once she had her things out of her purse, Sooyoung began working on Young Jae’s make up. “That damn Eunji.. What’s wrong with her?! It’s a good thing your make up didn’t run too much... and your wig is still in place..” (SY)

As Sooyoung continued going on and on with what was wrong, Young Jae couldn’t help but think back to Eunji and Daehyun. Was it really his fault that Daehyun had left Eunji so quickly? No, no.. it can’t be his fault. Anything that Daehyun did was of his own agenda.

Daehyun sighed as he took another sip of his drink. He looked over in the direction of the restrooms as thoughts ran through his head. Since it was only water, it wouldn’t have affected her too much. The problem that ran through his head was the make up. What if it got into her eyes? Since he didn’t know how make up worked, Daehyun couldn’t help but worry even more.

However... what he saw earlier put a few more questions into his mind. While outside with Eunji, Daehyun had briefly glanced over into the restaurant to see if Hana was alright. When he had done so, he was sure that he had seen Sooyoung. Okay, so he could only see their appearance from behind, but there were not a lot of women that had Sooyoung’s height and figure.

Still, it was only an assumption. It was best not to jump to conclusions. He wanted the truth, but how he would get it, he wouldn’t really know. For now, it was probably best to just dorp it and wait until the truth came out.

“Yo. Eating by yourself?” (BY) Daehyun turned back to his table before looking up at Yongguk. He was glad that Hana was currently in the restroom, but that didn’t necessarily mean that they were out of trouble just yet. Still, how was he going to answer Yongguk’s question?

“No... My date is in the restroom.” (DH) Yongguk grinned as he sat down.

“Man, you work fast! Okay, okay. I won’t get in your way. But man, I gotta tell ya... I bumped into her again! I bumped into Hana. Can you believe that? I even got her number this time.” (BY) Yongguk leaned back in his seat as he rested his elbow on the back of his seat. “Man, I’m telling you. She’s falling for me. Sooner or later, I’m gonna have her screaming my name in bed.” (BY)

Daehyun kept quiet, looking down at the table while he let Yongguk let his imagination run wild. He couldn’t bring himself to telling Yongguk that he was dating the girl that Yongguk was after. However, it also made Daehyun feel uncomfortable, even a little angry, to hear Yongguk talking about Hana as if she was some sort of slave. He should be used to Yongguk’s womanizing ways after all of these years, but.. he wasn’t. “So, where’s this date of yours? I wanna see how hot she is. Gotta see if she’s right for you and all that.” (BY)

“Ah, no. You should go before she gets here.” (DH) Daehyun already knew that Yongguk was just basically checking to see if they’re hot enough for him. Daehyun wasn’t exactly as oblivious as he seemed after all. The one person that he didn’t want going after was the one he was currently dining with.

“Eh? You want me to leave? Tch.. being greedy I see. Fine, I’ll leave.” (BY) Getting to his feet, Yongguk had taken just one step towards the door before looking back down at Daehyun. “You gotta let me meet your new girlfriend one day. Alright?” (BY)

“I don’t know about that. You’ll just scare her away.” (DH) The two chuckled a bit as Yongguk gave Daehyun’s shoulder a playful shove. With a single hand raised just above shoulder height, Yongguk was soon out of the restaurant. Daehyun let out a small sigh as he turned to look towards the restroom. What could be taking Hana so long?

“I-Is he gone..? He won’t come back, right..?” (YJ) Daehyun turned back to see Hana slowly sliding into her seat. Once Hana was looking back at him, Daehyun smiled as he nodded.

“Yea, he’s gone.. Don’t worry. If he bothers you again, I’ll protect you. Just.. call me whenever he troubles you, alright?” (DH) Young Jae turned a bit red as he gave a sheepish smile, nodding his head. Young Jae was glad that Daehyun would protect him, but.. would it still apply if he was himself? Would Daehyun protect him even if he found out his secret?

Maybe one day he would find out. Until that moment came, Young Jae had to keep his secret safe for as long as possible. Still, seeing that warm grin on Daehyun’s face made Young Jae feel guilty. He wanted to tell Daehyun the truth, but.. it felt like it wasn’t the right time yet.

“You cleaned him up well.” (HC) Himchan smiled as he watched Daehyun and Young Jae talking with one another. Since he had a duty as a best friend, Himchan had cut class to watch over Young Jae. However, when Eunji had come in, he was about to jump in when Sooyoung quickly stopped him. Since Young Jae was dressed as a girl, it would have raised suspicions if he suddenly came up to them. Plus, since Young Jae couldn’t go in the male’s restroom, Himchan couldn’t have been able to clean him up. So... Himchan was grateful that Sooyoung was around. He definitely made the right choice with enlisting Sooyoung’s help with this.

“Of course I would! I’m a fashion major for a reason.” (SY) Sooyoung flipped her hair behind her shoulders as she leaned forward, resting her elbows on the table as she turned to look at Young Jae and Daehyun. “They at least look like they’re having fun.” (SY)

“Of course! With us watching over them, why wouldn’t they?!” (HC) Himchan let out a small chuckle as he leaned back in his seat. Crossing his arms, he sighed before smiling just a bit. It wasn’t his usual smile. It was more like a.. pained smile. Himchan didn’t know why he was feeling like this, but... it was happening.

No, he should be happy for Young Jae. After all, it seemed like his plan was going the way that he wanted it to. Himchan just had to make sure that Young Jae saw his plan through until the very end. He was probably just nervous or something along those lines. After all, he didn’t know Daehyun personally. It’s not like he would be able to judge whether the two would be able to have a successful relationship or not just by staring at them like this. “Crap! Himchan, look!” (SY)

Himchan instantly pulled himself away from his thoughts as he turned to look where Sooyoung was pointing. His eyes instantly widened as he saw Yongguk walking back into the restaurant. Without much thinking, Himchan got up from his feet and quickly made his way over to Yongguk before the male could spot Young Jae in disguise. Quickly blocking his view, Himchan folded his arms as he tried to think of how to get him out of here. Yongguk crossed his arms as a single brow rose, the two staring at one another. “Why the hell are you blocking my way?” (BY)

“I.. uh... Need to talk to you about.. something.” (HC) Something? Why did Himchan suddenly decide to come up to him? They haven’t even once spoken to one another until.. Yongguk smirked as he gave a small nod, quickly understanding that Himchan wanted to talk to him about Young Jae.

“Go on. I’m listening.” (BY)

“Uh.. not here. Outside..” (HC) Yongguk rolled his eyes as he rubbed the back of his head. Why outside? Where they currently were was a perfectly good place for them to talk, but, if Himchan REALLY wanted to talk in private, then whatever. He didn’t care all that much really. Without giving Himchan much of a response, Yongguk turned and made his way out of the restaurant. Himchan looked over at Sooyoung, whom was basically shooing him out of the restaurant. As long as Sooyoung was there, he didn’t have to worry about Young Jae getting into trouble.

With a small sigh, Himchan soon followed Yongguk out of the restaurant. He did try to take his time though, specifically because he had no idea what to talk to Yongguk about. There weren’t many topics to choose from and he was quite certain that if it wasn’t important enough, he would end up losing Yongguk’s interest at the very start. Sure, he could persist and try to keep Yongguk’s attention, but he could only assume that it would end up turning into some sort of argument or fight. It was best to not draw attention while Daehyun and Young Jae were both around.

Once they were off to the side, Yongguk turned to face Himchan. Yongguk could see the uncertainty on Himchan’s face, which brought about some amusement to Yongguk’s face as he smirked once more. Himchan cleared his throat a bit as he made eye contact with Yongguk, furrowing his eyebrows. Before he could say anything though, Yongguk made the first comment. “Falling for me?” (BY)

“.. What?” (HC)

“It’s written all over your face. You want some of this.” (BY) Yongguk pushed Himchan up against the wall, leaning in close as he smirked once more. “Didn’t know you were a homo with Young Jae. What’s the matter? Young Jae not.. big enough for you?” (BY)

Himchan scoffed as he roughly pushed Yongguk away from him. Moving away from the wall, Himchan dusted himself off before crossing his arms. Why the heck was Daehyun friends with this guy? “No, I am NOT gay. What is up with you anyway?! First Young Jae, now me? Are you sure you’re not gay yourself?” (HC)

Yongguk chuckled as he put his hands into his pocket. He looked off to the side as a smug look came onto his face. “Nah... men don’t interest me at all. Got the wrong equipment, you see?” (BY)

Turning his head back towards Himchan, he took a step forward. “But, if they really want it.. I wouldn’t mind pounding them. How ‘bout it? You interested?” (BY)

Himchan scoffed as he looked away. He really couldn’t believe this guy. What exactly went on in Yongguk’s head that made him think that he could do whatever the heck he wanted?! Turning his gaze back towards Yongguk, he narrowed his eyelids as the two glared at one another. “Not interested. And also... leave Young Jae alone. You bother him one more time and you won’t exactly have the right equipment either. You got that?” (HC)

“Oh? Threatening me, eh?” (BY) Yongguk chuckled as he looked off to the side yet again. However, whatever smile or smirk he had on his face instantly disappeared as he quickly took a firm hold of Himchan’s neck with his right hand. Himchan reached up, trying to pry Yongguk’s hand from his neck, but it didn’t seem to be working.

Yongguk lowered his head, but kept his gaze up at Himchan as he moved forward, roughly pressing Himchan up against the wall. Despite Himchan’s struggling, Yongguk pressed his own body against Himchan’s as he brought his lips close to Himchan’s ears. Yongguk whispered softly into Himchan’s ears, sending the wrong kind of vibes down his spine. “Looks like I’ll have to make you my first.” (BY)

Just as Yongguk slowly the rim of Himchan’s ear, Yongguk’s grasp loosened the second he felt Himchan’s knee hit him in a place he had forgotten to protect. As Yongguk put his hands down there in an attempt to sooth the pain, Himchan brought his knee up against Yongguk’s stomach before kicking him over. Gasping for air, Himchan glared down at Yongguk as he rubbed at his poor neck. “ing.. bastard.. If anyone’s.. going to be a .. it’s you.” (HC)

Turning, Himchan started walking away before he felt a hand grab onto his ankle. He looked down at Yongguk, whom definitely looked angry as his grip tightened. “I’m.. going to make you regret this..” (BY)

“Go yourself.” (HC) Himchan turned and swung his leg, his foot immediately coming into contact with Yongguk’s stomach. When that didn’t work, Himchan stomped three times on Yongguk’s hand before he finally got himself free. Stepping away from Yongguk, Himchan placed his hands into his pockets as he bent forward a bit. “You’re really sour, you know that right?” (HC)

He didn’t care if Yongguk was in pain anymore. He had wanted this to go smoothly, even though this was more of a last minute confrontation, but he still had hoped it would go without any conflict. Now, he’s just made a complete enemy out of Yongguk. Did he care? Nope. Yongguk deserved the pain that he received.

Walking away, Himchan’s eyes widened as he silently cursed. He quickly pulled himself back into the alley he had been with Yongguk, peeking just a bit as he watched Daehyun and Young Jae stepping out of the restaurant. “Hey! Let’s go get some ice cream!” (DH)

“I-Ice cream?! But.. I’m too full to eat anymore..” (YJ) Daehyun grinned as he turned to face Young Jae, walking backwards as they continued heading to their next destination.

“So? I’ll just eat whatever you can’t finish! Come on, Hana! Ice Cream is really good!” (DH) Young Jae let out a small sigh before smiling and nodding. Daehyun jumped a bit as he fist pumped the air, turning back around as he slowed down enough to walk next to Young Jae. “Great! Let’s get going then!” (DH)

Himchan sighed as he watched the two walk away. Stepping out of the alleyway, he soon felt an arm slip around his own and begin to pull him along. Himchan looked to whom his captive was, letting out a sigh of relief once he found out it was Sooyoung. “Good job dealing with Yongguk! What did you do with him anyway?” (SY)

“Oh.. nothing. We won’t have to worry about him for a while. So, they’re going for ice cream now is what I heard.” (HC) Sooyoung pondered for a moment before smiling.

“Let’s get some too! It sounds tasty.” (SY)

“Eh? You sound like Daehyun.” (HC) Sooyoung instantly slapped Himchan’s stomach as she gave Himchan’s arm a rough tug.

“Don’t compare me to him! Just for that, you OWE me ice cream now! Come come, let’s go!” (SY) Himchan sighed as he continued walking along. It’s not like he had much of a choice at the moment. It was more like he was forced into it, but.. hey, ice cream was nice too. He could use a scoop after what he’s been through.

I hope I didn’t overdo anything >.<..
Ahhh Yongguk.. Why are you going the way I planned for you to be?
But hey, at least Himchan and Sooyoung are around to protect Young Jae >3<..
And Daehyun? Of course!
.. Well, as Hana anyway.
Still don’t know whether he would protect Young Jae.. -/cough-...
